Loved our stay here, absolutely fabulous house had everything you could need,the decor was lovely. The outdoor space was decorated lovely and the hot tub was amazing and easy to use. Very peaceful area and the local shops in camlough and meigh were great & the people were very friendly. Not one thing I can fault. Glenn was very good checking in to make sure we had everything.

Beautiful house! Every bit as good as it looks to be in the photos. Looking out through the main window in the lounge area we were able to watch the ships and boats sail past on the sea and looking through the other window at the back of the house we were able to watch the clouds and rain storm folding over the mountains. Then this morning while enjoying our coffee we to watched the rabits play in the field behind us. Such a magical place and so peaceful. We had such a lovely time and hope to be back soon. Words cant describe how wonderful this place was. It feels a miracle that money could buy an experience like that. Stargazing in the hot tub, talking to the beautiful cows, drinking the wonderful prosecco provided and looking at all the family photos and history of the cottage, reading through the guestbook. I'd come back a thousand times if I could. Thank you so much.

An excellent cottage and location for a family get-away. The cottage has a wonderful view and all of the comforts necessary for a restful break. For us, the hot-tub really made the place stand out.

Mike was an excellent communicator from the start and very accommodating regarding our arrival time. He met us in person and is a very friendly and helpful host. His home made bread was delicious. His home cinema system is amazing with a fantastic selection of great films to watch on a large screen. The house is very well appointed and benefits from great natural light regardless of which room you are in. The garden, its shrubs, plants and flowers is amazing. A beautiful setting and the bird song is absolutely fantastic. The hot tub is a welcome additional if you want to relax in the beautiful garden with a glass of wine and take in the glorious views and garden. A very relaxing and peaceful stay in very homely accommodation. Mike is in the adjacent house if you need him but you have the feeling you are there all alone. Superb location if attending a wedding or other function at Tullyveery House. You just walk 500yards up the main drive. Perfect ,quiet location for a couple.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage. The hot tub was amazing and the surrounding countryside was gorgeous- special shoutout to the donkeys! Steph & Michael were wonderful hosts and super helpful. We had lovely trips to Tollymore Forest Park & Carlingford which were both easy to reach. All in all very highly recommended :)

Elsie’s Cottage is a nice and relaxing place to stay. Check in was very easy and seamless. Yvonne gave us all of the information we needed and even communicated everything we needed to know prior to our arrival. The hot tub is a great addition!

The cottage was spotless (clearly recently renovated, well-maintained and well-scrubbed that day) and full of welcoming touches upon our arrival, including a fresh loaf of bread and butter, tea, good coffee, milk and eggs. Margaret proactively invited us to check in early if we wanted, and it was very easy to find the place with her instructions. Our kids were occupied, playing a game and reading faerie stories from Margaret’s small collection, within minutes. It was a perfect retreat, with lovely, pastoral views out of every window, and bird song in the morning. It is only a few minutes to Slieve Gullion (interesting history and mythology)/Killeavy Castle (nice restaurant) and a small grocery. When we met our host, we understood where the kindness and welcome had come from— Margaret’s husband called the horses to us for the kids to pet, and gifted my daughter the book she had found there. Comfortable beds; quiet. Would recommend to anyone looking for a little country retreat.

Paula is a genuine host who cares passionately about her cottage and her guests, and is very genuine when dealing with her guests.. Another lovely comfortable and private stay at Ivy Cottage for two days for my dog Maddie and me! Hope to return very soon with husband in tow again! Peace and quiet and felt safe in the surrounding area . The cottage is exceptionally kitted out . Heating very straightforward to operate when needed in N . Ireland's daily changeable weather!

Gillian’s place is a Lovely cosy house set in beautiful countryside, very quiet and private place it was ideal for our needs. We travelled to the Balmoral Show during our stay. We ate in local restaurants in Saintfield which were also very tasty with very pleasant staff We really enjoyed our stay Thank you Gillian

Shirley and Thomas were very accommodating. Beautiful place to stay. Love the grounds and trails. Very clean. Would definitely stay again when visiting Northern Ireland. Thanks for the memorable visit and hospitality!

Very nice cottage. I think the only thing to improve it would be a towel rail in the bathroom.

This is a very special place to stay in the heart of the Mournes. Great view and very comfy place. Neil was helpful and responsive. Highly recommended

Just back from a weeks stay at Brambles cottage. What can we say apart from it was fantastic. So very peaceful,beautiful scenery and LOADS of great places to walk from the door step. We brought our dog Boycee and he throughly enjoyed himself also. The garden was 100% secure so we could just relax and let Boycee run around and play freely. We would most definitely love to go back if welcomed. Thank you to Karen and Alistar. Nothing was a problem

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. 3 very comfortable double bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Just a short drive from nearest shops and great pubs/ restaurants in old hillsborough. Lots to see and do within short driving distance.

James loved your pet chickens that was his high light of our getaway. Thank you for your kindness and your hospitality

We were offered the Loft instead of the cottage and we did not regret the exchange. Pristine, all brand new fittings and towels, very cosy. We would definitely return.

We had a very relaxing stay at Francis & Dorothy's place. They were very friendly and happy to chat with great suggestions of places to visit. The bed was comfy and warm. The breakfast basket was full of lovely goodies. Would definitely stay again! 😀

The garden and views at this cottage were amazing, it was very peaceful. My kids absolutely loved the dogs who live nearby, the house was dog friendly which was fab!
