Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Downtown Vancouver

We already miss this place! We loved waking up early in the morning to the view outside the bedroom, a feast for the eyes. Nature and tranquility surrounds this home. One could easily spend their days sitting on one of three decks taking it all in. Having the kayaks and paddle boards at our disposal allowed us to be a part of the activities on the water. And a soak in the hot tub was a much appreciated bonus! This is truly a home for an active lifestyle. With the climb up the nearly 70 steps to the street to the multiple daily walks to the business district in Deep Cove, you won't have to worry about making sure you get your exercise in. Thank you, John and Maria, for sharing your lovely home with us. It was a very special place for us to celebrate a milestone anniversary. We felt very spoiled by everything it offers and will definitely return again.

Excellent place to stay. In the center of so many places to see and restaurants. Public transportation was super easy to figure out. One hour after we checked out of their place we were sitting at our gate in the Vancouver airport (taking a bus and train and going through security and customs)!

Pauline is a fantastic host, very welcoming and kind. She has a beautiful home, the garden is great for relaxing in the evening and the room was very cosy. Just what you need after a day in Vancouver. Her 2 cats are also very friendly and love a fuss, highly recommended.

Joy was wonderful in accommodating us during our stay, and provided some wonderful local recommendations. The space was the perfect size for 2 people, and we couldn't be more pleased with it.

Vancouver was a short stop on a longer vacation. It was too short of a stay. So much to explore and Kirk’s place was a great location to do it from. Good food and coffee within walking distance and a short drive from many activities and attractions. The place itself is in a really nice and quiet neighborhood. It was very clean and comfortable. Kirk’s instructions are very clear to the point we didn’t need anything in the way of help. Kirk was very responsive to the communications we did have. I highly recommend Kirk’s place. We’ll definitely look to stay here on our next visit.

The place is exactly the same as described. It is high end decoration. We would love to stay with them again.

Cory is a wonderful host. His place and his hospitality were among the best we’ve encountered in Vancouver. Instructions were very clear for checkin making the experience easy. Cory was so generous with his space allowing us to feel very much at home. We’d love to return to stay at Cory’s listing in the future!

I stayed at Julia and Mike’s while I was visiting friends in the Vancouver area. The space was beautiful, clean, quiet, and perfect for my quick trip. Their place easy to access and is served by two bus routes that were reliable. Julia and Mike were friendly and very responsive to messages. Would book again and I recommend their place to anyone looking to stay in North Vancouver!

I had a great time staying at the garden suite! Everything was beautiful, private, cozy and clean. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time, the location was great and close to Kitsilano beach and restaurants! Sarah is a great host!

Excellent place to stay in Vancouver! Fernando gave really clear instructions and photo references for accessing the space and parking. We travelled with a toddler and two infants, and we couldn’t be happier with the space available to us, with plenty of amenities available. Fernando also left a high chair for us, which was a nice surprise. For any questions I had, Fernando was responsive and gave answers with great detail. The condo sits right next to a Sky Train station for convenience. We primarily drove with a rental car, most places of interest were within a 20-30min drive including traffic. YVR was about a 45min drive with rush hour traffic. There are lots of restaurant options available, just on the street around the condo, along with Gastown and Yaletown about a 15min walk away. Would highly recommend this stay for small families, couples or singles, especially if you like to be near what’s happening around the city.

Everything was so thoughtful and cozy, from the soft bedding to the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The space was spotless, peaceful, and had everything I needed (and more). Communication was smooth and kind, and I felt totally at ease the whole time. My wife and I were in Vancouver for three days on a short side trip from a family reunion in Gig Harbor, WA. John's place is a great location, especially if you like to walk. It is located close to many dining/drinking establishments, a stop for the hop on/hop off bus, walking to shopping, waterfront and Stanley Park. Our only issue was not enough drawer/storage space for clothing (we travel with a lot of clothes). The free secure parking space is a great benefit. Overall, this is a great location. We would stay again and recommend to others.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment in the heart of Yaletown, Vancouver! The space was clean, stylish, and exactly as pictured, but the real standout was the stunning view. Waking up to the city skyline and waterfront was such a treat. Everything was incredibly walkable with so many fantastic local restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques right outside the door. We were in town for a concert, and the location made the entire experience super convenient and fun. The host was friendly, responsive, and provided clear instructions that made check-in and check-out a breeze. You can tell they take pride in their space and in making sure guests have a great experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy Vancouver in style and comfort. Would absolutely stay again!

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in downtown Vancouver! The location is incredibly central; just a few minutes' walk from Robson Street; and the neighborhood felt safe and clean. The unit itself was pristine: spotless white linens and towels, gleaming surfaces, and sparkling clean throughout. I especially loved the floor-to-ceiling windows in every room that offered stunning views of the city skyline. The host was also very responsive and easy to communicate with. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver.

I had a wonderful stay at Minji’s apartment! The apartment is situated in a very desirable area in Vancouver - walkable to downtown and many great restaurants. The place itself was exactly as described in the listing, and also extremely clean. Very plush & comfortable bed that allowed me to have one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time! I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone else looking to stay in the area!

We have traveled to many countries and major cities and these hosts top them all! Very detail oriented! They greeted us from the start, described the area with advice, and they provided a guide for everything you could ever need! We loved how clean the place was and it smelled so good! They gave us the BEST recommendations for food and drinks. We cannot thank them enough for making this experience a top 5!

Great apartment, great location, really communicative hosts. Would definitely recommend staying here. One thing id note is that the sofa bed is not a typical sofa bed, its more a sofa with the back pillows removed. With that said, I definitely would recommend the airbnb as it was a wonderful stay.

This was a great home base for our little group to explore Vancouver from! It's a short walk to Chinatown and to Gastown, and is centrally located for short drives to other places in the city we wanted to visit. The parking situation was also ideal, especially since we made the drive up in an electric vehicle and the parking spot provided has a level 2 charger! The only hiccups with this stay were the check-in instructions (if you don't see them in the app, just ask) and needing an extra towel, but Austin was communicative and helped resolve these quickly. In the summer, the unit may get a bit warm, but for us it worked out well.
