Holiday rentals with beach access in Downtown San Diego

This was just what we needed for our stay! Easy walk to the bay, and to surrounding restaurants. Quinn gave very clear instructions on where everything was.

Tamaras listing was exactly like her pictures for a first timer In san diego the location was so beautiful and peaceful right off the beach exactly what I needed for a mini vacation I loved that it had its own little cozy balcony, and rooftop grill/ fire pit overlooking the view of imperial Beach there was so much to do in walking distance you couldn't beat the price for this place would definitely recommend and the host was very helpful and accommodating to any questions we had no matter the time if day thank you for making my stay worth it !

This place was an absolute gem. Waking up to the sound of the waves and being able to walk everywhere made our stay so relaxing. It's the kind of spot where the beach feels like your backyard and adventure is always just around the corner. Falling asleep to the ocean breeze was pure magic. All in all, a fantastic escape — we’d recommend it in a heartbeat.

Pretty much perfect. Location is just stupid perfect. Walk right over to the Del Coronado, right to the beach, right to coffee. The place is perfect for a couples romantic stay. I plan on going back each year. I would suggest using their parking at the B of A right next door. Totally worth it. I really have zero bad things to say. Value A+. Easy A+ Clean A+. Safety A+++++. Lobster rolls across the street A+. Buzzed coffee around the corner A++++. I’ll be back.

We had a lovely stay at Rob’s. The location is impossible to beat with amazing restaurants, bars and coffee shops all in walking distance. The space is small as it is a studio but it was perfect for a long weekend with myself and my husband. Communication was extremely fast and everything was smooth as can be with our hosts!

Location, location, location. This unit is very conveniently located within walking distance of everything the Village of La Jolla has to offer, from the coves and the park to the walking trails along the bluff and all the cafes, shops, eateries and bars along the way. Well appointed space, clean and comfortable; I made use of the beach towels and sunscreen provided which was appreciated. Host was responsive which is always a plus.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The unit was clean and very well stocked with necessities. The location was perfect for us and we highly valued the assigned parking space. The weather was lovely and we were able to enjoy a nice walk along the coast line to the nearby little beach town and stopped for a morning coffee and an acai bowl. Cody was super fast to respond to any questions we had. Would certainly stay again.

Great location and very well kept. Beach bungalow/ cabin vibe. Walking distance to anything and everything around Ocean Beach, which is so fun and lively but still peaceful! The cliffs down the road are a bit dangerous and windy but with the right shoes, so worth the views. We didn’t realize the hot tub was shared with 2 other units on the property but we got lucky and had no trouble using it when others weren’t and barely noticed our neighbors- they were very quiet. Owners were great and responded within seconds!

The location is unbeatable!! Neighbors were friendly and we felt so safe! We loved the upstairs perch and the common area that was outside!

Great stay, felt very safe and at home. So much to do at a walkable distance, very close to the beach, 10/10 would definitely stay again. Albert was awesome, proactive at check-in, and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Our stay at the Blue Beach House was comfortable & quiet. The upstairs cottage was private, with a sweet covered porch and well stocked kitchen. Inside décor was creative & cozy. Colorful artwork and nice furnishings. The neighborhood was quiet and great for walking. Suzanne was available if we needed anything and very friendly. A great weekend stay. Ariel was so responsive and thoughtful when I reached out and everything from then on was so easy for check in and requesting a late departure. The entire home is tucked back away from the street so you feel so safe and secure and private. The beach chic home decor is so so lovely and everything is extremely clean and the outside area was so well appointed for our ESA dog and my daughter enjoyed the space immensely. I will def be back and having an amazing host is 90% of an amazing stay in my opinion, so book with Ariel ; ) You won't be disappointed. Gorgeous home!

Karl’s Airbnb is a home away from home in a beautiful, safe, quiet neighborhood!! We loved our stay here, from the decor, to the amenities and suggestions for restaurants and attractions, to the easy access to the beach and nearby gliderport, we had an amazing time! Karl is also very friendly and always responsive, which we appreciated. He sent thorough instructions beforehand to ensure we found the location, and everything was very easy to access. It’s just out of the way enough to be quiet, but places like San Diego, Coronado, and Encinitas are closeby for exploring! If you’re looking for a beautiful stay in a convenient location, this is it! This was by far the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. The cottage is elegantly but comfortable decorated, linens high quality, kitchen well equipped, bathroom well designed with plenty of counter space for a small room. A heated toilet seat and bidet were appreciated! The entire property is beautifully landscaped and the little garden in back is serene. The overall design and layout are like something out of Architectural Digest. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.

I have to say that this Airbnb is by far my best stay yet! The host was very responsive when it came to questions. Although the airbnb had multiple units there wasn’t noise the way I expected it to be. This is a great location and honestly a great bang for your buck. Everything is walking distance and the vibes were immaculate. Would definitely recommend to friends/ family if they plan on visiting gaslamp!

Stayed for a weekend and wished it was longer! The location was absolutely fantastic. A short walk to the beach, amazing restaurants, and some fun shops. Very quick drive to SD Zoo, Balboa Park, Sea World. The parking was a little tricky and if you have anything larger than a sedan it would be difficult to navigate, but there seemed to be street parking available often and we didn't end up moving the car much since the neighborhood was so walkable! House was just as cute as the photos and the couch was super comfortable!

Great location near the bay, includes two bikes, and two parking spots. Is a cozy spot that is perfect for two people. Great communication and accommodated early check in.

This was our second stay at this apartment, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. We love being so close to the beach and within easy walking distance of Ocean Beach. For week-long visits, having a well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook a few meals at home. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and having access to a washer and dryer is a huge plus. We will stay here again on our next trip to San Diego.

GREAT location and host. Has all amenities needed for a getaway. The parking spot was taken, but thankfully we found close street parking. Would stay again!

Great location on Mission Beach. Emmy's book of local suggestions was great for finding good food in the area. Centrally located to all different San Diego attractions which was great. Loved the beach being right outside the door as well as the ability to walk all around Mission Beach. My family and I even walked to Pacific beach. Emmy was wonderful with checking in on my family. I would definitely recommend.
