Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Downtown Halifax

The place was very organized and welcoming. It had everything we could need, it was in a very clean condition, and very well equipped. There was a guide with things to do and places for food. One thing to keep in mind is that there is an open roof so id recommend bringing eye masks. It was fun watching the wild life out the window.

We enjoyed staying at Robert's fabulously decorated home. It is a unique home in a beautiful setting; it's not often we get to stay in a home with exotic birds, friendly ducks, and a dinosaur room. And Robert is an excellent host. It's a great location for seeing the area - many attractions within a 1-2 hour drive. We would stay here again if our travels bring us back to Nova Scotia.

A beautiful home, with creatively designed renovations. Lots to do in the area and amazing restaurants and breweries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Colin's and hope to stay again when visiting Halifax!

This home was absolutely beautiful, even better than the pictures make it look! We were impressed at how much space we had which made it a perfect home base for a week-long stay in Nova Scotia. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful without being too far from downtown and we enjoyed the many amenities of Larry Uteck as well! Xiuyan and the cohost were very responsive and flexible which we truly appreciated.

Wonderful accommodation! Quiet and private spot, with lots of space for 2. Free parking right in front. Would definitely stay again!

My sisters and I loved our stay at Lisa’s! The location was prime - we like walking, and it was about a 30 minute walk to downtown waterfront, or a quick 5 minute uber ride. Even though the home was in a college neighborhood, we found it to be quiet and peaceful. The home had everything we needed, and we especially found that the kitchen was very well equipped. It was also immaculately clean. The beds were all comfy cozy, and it was nice that there were two bathrooms. Lisa was very responsive to all of my questions and a great host (thank you for the welcome gift!). We would 100% stay here again! Thanks again Lisa!

It was a place like more than a home. Feeling of residing in a resort. We liked very much. In future when ever we plan to visit this side we will see that we come and relax in the place

This was the perfect last place for our Canada holiday. Beautiful views, stunning woodland walks just outside, and a lovely space to rest. Easy drive to Halifax and the airport. The accommodation itself was superbly presented, with comfortable beds, great kitchen and laundry facilities. Everything you could want when traveling by car.

This might be my favourite AirBNB of all time. If you’re looking for an authentic East Coast-esque yet modern and cozy spot nestled in the heart of Downtown Halifax, this is the place. The ceilings are low— tall people be wary of that— but it’s so insanely perfect otherwise. The hosts have really created something special in this historical unit, and you’ll be comfortable here without a doubt (plus will save a fortune in Ubers with how walkable literally everything is while you’re here). Additional win: they’re the kind of hosts that actually let you be a guest, and don’t require you to clean out the wahoo before your departure. 11/10!!

This was a lovely place to have a relaxing and peaceful getaway! The house was spotless, one of the cleanest places I've stayed at! The view of the lake was beautiful and it was lovely to have the option to use the kayaks and paddle boards! The chickens were great to watch and you couldn't hear them inside the property at all! I would recommend Victoria's Air bnb to anyone in the area! I look forward to staying here again in the future!

We stayed for 6 months and it was absolutely wonderful! There were lots of beaches and trails nearby to take our dog. The views were amazing! We even saw a seal once! The apartment was beautiful as well, especially the kitchen (as someone who loves to cook and bake it was perfect!) It's the perfect distance from Halifax if you don't like the bustle of a city but still want to do some sightseeing if you don't mind driving a bit! Overall we loved every part of our stay :)

Excellent place to stay! Backyard area and hot tub is really nice. Place is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this place and staying in the north end of Halifax.

We had such a wonderful stay. The property is so beautifully landscaped by Bruce and Leesa. You can see the love and care they put into it. The inside was no exception. It felt warm and inviting. Leesa and Bruce are wonderful people. Very friendly and put us at ease right away. Really really nice couple. Don't think twice about booking this place. You will not be disappointed. Fabulous host and terrific location. Very helpful for any of our needs. Unit was spacious and very clean. Location is close to shopping with only 10-15 mins from major stores, and groceries. Nice place to walk around. Nice frog pond just a few steps away for early morning entertainment. Hot tub was a nice touch.

The Chateau is spectacular. Spacious and well appointed. Too many unique and high quality features to mention. Such a memorable and comfortable experience for us all. A real gem. We hope to return!

The location is absolutely beautiful and more spacious than the photos show. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and rolling fog from the bright open windows throughout the house. The host is very excited to share the experience with guests by providing kayaks and local food/ activity recommendations. The property is well looked after by a neighbor / property manager who has great recommendations as well! The property is remote but still within reasonable driving distance of Halifax and other tourist destinations. We recommend you get groceries on your way in though as there are limited grocery options in immediate area. Farmers markets are easily found and have best of NS. Highly recommend for a beautiful and relaxing vacation!

Jordan's villa was absolutely stunning. The expansive space had beautiful rooms, and surpassed all expectations. The photos depicted a lovely spot but it was even more incredible in person. Is is beautifully decorated, absolutely immaculate and had every possible amenity one could think of. It was a wonderful stay for us and I highly recommend a visit! It could not have been any more perfect!

It was an interesting stay for the host and for our group. First, I got a message that the air conditioning had failed the day before we arrived and the repair people were not available until after our stay. So the hosts put fans in all of the rooms! Then the hurricane came and it was not safe to stay. We left the day the hosts were coming to secure the house for the storm. And they initiated a refund for the days we could not stay! You can’t ask for more from hosts! The house is lovely and a great place to stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay. Scenery was beautiful, house was perfect, and enjoyed all our day trips (Lunenberg, Peggs Cove, Halifax). Jordan was a perfect host, always responsive. Our two kids (6, 2) loved playing on bunk beds, and there were some games and activities to keep them entertained. Highly recommend for a getaway - family, couple, or friends.
