House holiday rentals in Douglas County

It was absolutely lovely. I am so happy with my stay. A couple of cautions- the walk to the private entrance may be difficult for mobility impaired individuals and the wifi was spotty. Honestly nothing worth lowering the review tho! The pool was perfect, the sauna was lovely, and we made ourselves right at home ☺️

We chose Scott’s place because of how child friendly it was. We had 5 kids with us and the house had plenty of toys for the kids to play with. There was lots of space and places for our family to sleep.

Loved the house and all of the amenities! We watched a Thunder game in the theater room, played games in the game room and relaxed in the cigar room…and that was just indoors! We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub! It was a great trip and the house was perfect! Thank you for hosting us!

I really enjoyed our time in Lenexa! This house was in the perfect location and was clean and spacious!! My dogs enjoyed the backyard, and the pool was amazing for the hot days! Thank you again for sharing this amazing property!

Beautiful home. Nicely decorated. I especially like the seahorses/ocean decor. The living room couch was beautiful. Had a great stay and rested well from a long drive and a family wedding. Highly recommend. Would stay again if I’m in the area. Best regards, Marianne

Great value. Clean and comfortable. I was surprised that there was minimal air traffic noise being so close to the airport. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

you can tell more about people when something goes a little wrong than when everything is perfect. There was a small mechanical issue with the pool and they sent the nicest person out to fix it and went above and beyond to make sure all our kiddos could continue to use the pool. even though it would have been much cheaper for them to close the pool. This speaks volumes about their commitment to their guests. we would totally stay there again if we ever were in the KC area.

Our second stay here! Our group loved walking downtown and being right on the park. A perfect spot for our friend reunion in Lawrence.

Great place to bring my family and little ones.

My family and I absolutely loved Linda's beautiful property. We shared many laughters with the shuffleboard and everyone felt comfortable! The property was extremely clean and the craftsmanship and decor were top quality!! We would absolutely stay at her property again and wished we had booked for extras nights. I absolutely loved all the details and extra washer and dryer! The Best of the Best!

Pennys place was great! Very comfortable, quiet area, and she made sure our stay was perfect. 10/10 would stay again.

Extremely responsive host, provided support and clear instructions at all opportunities. When our provided code for the door did not work, we were provided a new code within minutes!

James' place exceeded my expectations. He has gone above and beyond to create an exceptionally welcoming experience for his guests. From the welcome cookies from a local bakery, to the extensive board game and book collection, to the availability of drinks and snacks, to the above and beyond amenities like ear plugs and fidget spinners in every room and extra tooth brushes and razors in case you forgot something, this stay was one of the best of my Airbnb experiences. Highly recommend!!

Very cool vintage\antique house with tons of fitting decorations and unique objects to see. Check in and checkout was a breeze. I would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay, the home is beautiful, beautiful accommodations and super comfortable. We loved it was close to downtown and easy to get around. We highly recommend this beautiful home.

We will stay here again! Casey’s place was clean with abundant towels, linens and extra blankets and pillows. The beds were very comfortable. He had fans in the closets which were nice for white noise at night. This is in a prime location in Lawrence near everything. if you are coming with young children, be aware there are stairs. We failed to see this in the listing photos (our mistake), that there were stairs in the kitchen with one set going down right next to another going up. We brought our young children, one of whom is crawling. We purchased an extra long baby gate from Walmart which solved this and were able to fit it in our car to take home. Just something to be aware of and we still rate this with five stars. Casey is a very responsive and welcoming host.

Beautiful newly remodeled house in great location. Walk to Mass st for great restaurants and shopping. Perfect location for game day Kansas football Beautiful kitchen and bathroom. Anna was a great host. Went above and beyond. Perfect house and we look forward to staying there again.

We were lucky enough to host our micro wedding ceremony and reception at Mary and Evan’s beautiful property!! They were exceptional to work with and very dedicated to making our day picture-perfect!

I stayed with a group of friends and the house was very cute and comfortable. It's not too far of a walk from Mass St with lots of restaurant options. I would definitely stay here again!

This place was exactly what we needed, close to friends and family, easy to get where we wanted to go. My husband and I both work remotely and we were easily able to do so. Great find
