The apartment is huge and in a great central location. We walked everywhere. It's surrounded by fab bars and restaurants. The view from the small balconies is beautiful and we loved seeing the sea through the sitting room windows when we came in the front door. As someone else mentioned, there has obviously been a water leak at some point which could do with sorting and a couple of other areas could do with some tlc. Overall, we loved the apartment and would definitely stay here again.

Francesco is a high-quality person. His property is worthy of 4 stars in view of the price. No complaints, the place is very accessible and well located; for our dog (a golden retriever) it was really a plus! The host was always able to meet our needs. Frankly! Staying in a place like this is more than rejuvenating. I highly recommend stopping by, you won't regret it. 😉

My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

Thank you so much for such a warm and welcoming stay! From the moment we arrived, Guiseppe made us feel completely at home - meeting us in person and even helping with parking on a busy road was so kind and above and beyond. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches, from the treats left for us to the fresh fruit, it was a real taste of Sicilian hospitality! Guiseppe was always available and made everything feel easy and relaxed. The terrace was absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect place to unwind. We also loved how close it was to the centre of Noto, just a short walk to great restaurants and the charming old town. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone.

Simonetta delivered everything she promised and more. The apartment was extremely comfortable, clean quiet and spacious. We like to cook as well as trying restaurants. Everything we needed was there. On arrival we immediately knew we’d made a great choice. A nice touch were “disposable “ slippers and quality towelling robes. Going out was a great experience, the market was practically next door selling fresh fish, meat, fruit, herbs etc. We will come again!

The house is very clean and tidy, a stone's throw from the beach. The kitchen is super well-equipped and comfortable. Of the two rooms, one is very large and the other, although small, is functional. The outdoor spaces are well maintained and the parking is indoor and very convenient. Valerio and his family are very hospitable and welcoming people who made us feel like friends. Ideal solution to visit the magnificent Val di Noto!

We, a small family of three, had the most amazing time in Modica (and the surroundings), and Jane's apartment was an extraordinary find. It was perfect as a base to explore the area. I love how big the apartment is, it feels very spacious with a big hallway connecting the rooms. I highly appreciate the way the old and new is mixed together - the old floor tiles are having a new life, the walk in shower is cozy and big. The kitchen has everything one might need, and more! We felt like home and were able to cook every day for us and our small son. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore de beauty of the Sicilian baroque architecture.

Wonderful location right on the beach. There are many beautiful places just around the corner that include good restaurants and markets but you need a car to get there. We loved staying here and I must say that Rosemarie is the best host ever. You have all you need there and if not, Rosemarie can provide for you. Thank you for everything. You are surely on our list if we are coming back to Sicily.

What a gem! This was our fourth trip to Sampieri and our best stay yet! We absolutely loved staying in Eleonora’s apartment. Spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and so close to everything! We will definitely be happy to stay again. Grazie Eleonora!

We felt right at home, got great tips for restaurants and excursions and enjoyed the peace and the wonderful sea in front of the door. We recovered very well without getting bored, you can relax very well here, Robin was an attentive and relaxed host, thank you for everything and greetings to the dogs, we will definitely come back.

Such a beautiful gem of an apartment! I would fully recommend staying here! We stayed for three nights after we’d just got married in Sicily. The apartment is beautiful and just as it looks in the pictures - the roof terrace is a real bonus! It’s absolutely stunning & a great place to laze under the sun, relaxing in the day or to have an alfresco dinner in the evening. It also overlooks ruins which is super interesting. The location of the apartment is also great - a 2-3 minute walk from the lively fish market & a variety of great restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed at Rosario’s place for two nights with our two year old daughter and wished we had booked a few more nights. We enjoyed the beach in walking distance, strolling around town and the beautiful sunsets viewed from the spacious balcony.

This AirBNB is right in the heart of all that Ortigia has to offer, however it is tucked away one street from a main thoroughfare so you can be out and about in literally 60 seconds. Then, you have a beautiful sanctuary to come home to. The furnishing were great, and the architecture of the apartment made you feel like you were somewhere very special. The beds and pillows, all 4 of us agreed, were outstanding. Easy to fall a sleep, and wake up rested. There is a living room and eating area off the kitchen, with gave us plenty of space to stretch out some everyone could get alone time as needed (we love each other, but traveling for 2 weeks internationally... you know how it is). Outside the door is a courtyard with fragrant climbing flowers and palm trees. All the conveniences you need -- kitchen appliances, washer, coffee maker (although you'll want to grab a cappuccino and sit at a nearby cafe). When we come back to Ortigia, we're staying here.

A lovely apartment with good facilities and furnishings, wonderfully easy use of a private beach and not too far away to drive to the restaurants and sights of Syracuse.

Tiziana was a great host. The apartment was beautiful, well appointed, and had comfortable furnishings. The apartment is very close to all the local attractions and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to visit. We would highly recommend the unit.

It was situated right next to the lively and fun market with lots of good restaurant choices. Everything was walkable on this gorgeous island of Ortygia. We would stay here again!

Great location Comfortable space

The apartment is bright, modern and very well furnished. The landlord was super nice and helpful. The center is within walking distance. Perfect starting point in all directions. The bus stop/bus station is right at the house and can be heard from the terrace. Basically, Sicily has a massive problem with garbage disposal, which is unfortunately clearly visible in some neighborhoods.

We absolutely loved Alfredo’s place. Beautiful, immaculately clean, comfy bed and amazing shower. Loved the little deck sitting out area for evenings and pool to cool off. Fabulous Airbnb and Alfredo was so lovely and friendly and helpful. Great 5 days in lovely Fontane Bianchi.
