"La Fortezza" villa with sea view

La Fortezza is a villa surrounded by greenery and the absolute quiet of its private park, among centuries-old olive trees, a grove of oaks and an orchard. It is located on a hill, just 6 km from the crystal clear sea of Polignano a Mare (BLUE FLAG SINCE 2008 and 5 LEGAMBIENTE SAILS) with its wonderful sea caves to discover by boat. The villa is made exclusively of stone, wood and glass, on two levels, and is characterized by the presence of one hectare of park, a large panoramic terrace overlooking the sea, and a solarium. Inside the park, to stay in perfect shape during your vacation at La Fortezza, a fully equipped gym is available to guests (free of charge) with an elliptical, bench and dumbbells, punching bag and gloves, and total body workout equipment. The wood-burning oven and barbecue are available for guests to prepare and enjoy pizzas, focaccias and outdoor grills. The panoramic terrace, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the expanse of olive trees, white farms, sky and sea, is about 40 square meters and is furnished with a large dining table in the shade of three holm oaks that "emerge" from the garden below: the wooden floor was built respecting the presence of the trees through the creation of the slots in correspondence with the trunks. Inside the park of La Fortezza you will find flowers and scents and many corners of paradise: rock seats where you can sit to read a book or listen to music, wooden sunbeds to sunbathe and enjoy the sunset breeze. You can pick seasonal fruits directly from the trees to enjoy their fantastic flavor. In the orchard, two rows of lavender to perfume your wardrobes in the city! The park is completely fenced with an electric gate, alarm system and private security service.

It was renovated in 2015 by recovering two rooms used in the past as a storage for the fishing nets of one of the most famous fishermen in the area: my father. It has two entrances: a main one on Via Duomo 19 and a secondary one. It is close to restaurants, the sea, pharmacies, bars and nightlife. You will love my place for these reasons: You will be in the peace of the countryside and very close to the sea and very beautiful tourist resorts. My place is good for couples.

We absolutely loved this place! It is in a perfect location for both the central area and train station for our many day trips to other towns. Definitely be aware of 3 flights of stairs to reach the 2nd bedroom, kitchen and terrace but worth the extra steps. The management company was very helpful and responsive.

This was the most perfect place to stay in Pugliano a Mare. The location is superb. The views from the apartment are divine. Communication was great from the get go with instructions on how and where to park with subsequent escort to the apartment. I couldn’t recommend this location enough!!

A great place to stay and a great hostess. The place was exactly as described. The rooms are nice and large and very well equipped. There is absolutely nothing to fault. The location was in the old town of Conversano and had a certain Italian flair. Marezia was a great host, always approachable and with helpful tips. I can recommend the apartment to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in Conversano and Apulia.
