The room was clean and comfortable, few minutes walk to the historical site . The location was convenient, and the amenities were well-maintained. My husband and I enjoyed to stay very much.

Villa Franca

DaisyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Castelluccio house This is a comfortable, roomy house in a beautiful green setting. It has large windows and a big front patio, full of flowers, overlooking the mountains and the valley below. It’s in a totally quiet rural setting, only 10 minutes drive into town. It’s one of the most peaceful settings we’ve stayed; it was wonderful to sleep so deeply. One issue to be aware of is the heating system (it was still chilly when we were there in early May). It’s good if you are familiar with making fires in a fireplace or wood stove, as this actually heats water pipes that control the radiators in the rest of the house. This is a property that shows the care and love of the owners, and the host is very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Basilicata, sea and countryside, nearby Matera

FrancescoRating, 5 stars9 months ago
I had already booked the apartment some time ago for my parents, who had a great time. This time I had the opportunity to stay there personally with my sisters and my girlfriend, and I can confirm the great impression my parents had had. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the location is perfect: magnificent view and a quiet and relaxing place. Highly recommended!

Our visit at Masseria Misossero was truly pleasant! After we have arrived to the place Miriam showed us the house and explained how to take care of the facility. The communication was clear and fast when we had any questions. We were happy about the overall cleanliness of the house. It is a beautiful area and we enjoyed the views every day. We loved the big pool. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Sassi & Charme - A jewel in the heart of the Sassi

FrancescaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A truly wonderful experience. The house is in a perfect location for visiting Matera: central but quiet, with a breathtaking view of the Cathedral, which alone is worth the stay. The interior spaces are spacious and bright: the living room is huge, the kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom is very comfortable. In particular, we appreciated the quality of the dishes, tableware and linen, all of which were of high quality and tastefully chosen. It is clear that the renovation was handled by an architect, with great attention to detail and respect for the local style, creating a refined but authentic environment. A very important added value was the hosts, a kind and helpful couple who welcomed us warmly and accompanied us by car both on arrival and departure. A stay we recommend for those seeking comfort, beauty and authentic hospitality in Matera.

Grandparents' house

We had a fantastic stay in San Giorgio Lucano! The house was lovely, the host was incredibly kind and helpful, and the local community made us feel very welcome. There are a few charming little restaurants and bars in town—perfect for a relaxed dinner or breakfast. The location is peaceful but well situated for day trips. We visited Matera, the ancient cave city; the impressive Greek temples at Paestum; and Oriolo, officially one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. We absolutely loved our time here and would happily come back!

The House of the Oil Museum

Having to comment on my place in Colobraro means talking about Amoreolio, which is more than just a place to stay with everything you need for a perfect stay, is an exceptional culinary experience. Thanks to Giusi, we had a visit that we will remember forever. The inhabitants of Colobraro also welcomed us warmly and welcomed us into their party. 100% recommended if you want to get to know the Basilica area, let yourself be surprised by the hospitality of Colobraro and Giusi.
