Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Diani

What a beautiful beautiful place. The pictures don’t do the house justice and Tiwi is a beach that is still as gorgeous as it was 30 years ago. No beach boys, no grief just lovely people everywhere. We snorkelled, swam in the pool, swam in the sea, played on the beach, rock pool hunted on the reef. Saw amazing starfish, moray eel, box fish and 3 types of sea hare as well as the “usual stuff”. We missed turtles hatching by 24 hours, but watched one come up to lay her eggs . The perfect place to spend a few days with the family chilling, talking and reconnecting. The verandah at the front is the best hub place. Then food - Anthony creates magic in the kitchen. Fresh fish, fruit and his tempura squid with coriander and soy sauce was delish. Fred the taxi driver is great and as a mixed family of 6 we could be as active and busy or not as we chose. The best way to end a trip to Kenya and as a previous resident it was perfect -Asante Tanya xx

We stayed a week at Eurika main villa and was very happy with the whole experience. As a family of six people it was a great option with plenty of social area at the front porch and access to a well maintained and clean pool. The house is in a quiet and very lush area. The host Marianne is super helpful. Access to the beach is easy, less than 10 minutes away by foot and there are several good restaurants close by. The optional chef/cooking service is highly recommended. We would love to come back some day.

We lived our stay at the White House cottage. It exceeded our expectations and we would love to return. We are a family of four and it was perfect. The staff was so warm and helpful. Definitely hire the local chef recommendation. We had delicious food in the convenience of our own veranda looking at the ocean. The location right on the beach with the private, expansive grounds was perfect. The house has incredible views and is extremely comfortable. I highly recommend. If you have a big group, try to rent the White House next door and have an amazing holiday with family or friends.

What a gorgeous place. If you’re an animal lover, this is the best place to be in the Diani area. Monkeys everywhere on the veranda, in the garden, by the pool! Gorgeous birds. Starfish island nearby. Adequate snorkeling. I was initially worried because the Honeymoon Tent seemed like a better choice online, but to us, Ocean View villa has the most to offer of the properties on the compound! Lovely as a couple or for a group you know intimately (the rooms are quite porous if sharing the home). Mike was incredibly helpful and flexible, with an incredible life story. Martin our chef was warm and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely come back again. PS would recommend ordering the shopping ahead of time, can be a bit hectic to do it on the night of your arrival.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Galu Salama. Anni’s property is beautiful - very peaceful and quiet, away from the touristy areas of Diani. We spent hours in the immaculately clean pool. We slept well in the rooms that were spotless and cool thanks to the air conditioning. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with cooking supplies. The housekeeper, Nancy, welcomed us with fresh fruits and made us feel right at home. The house manager, Renson, took care of all our needs - from coordinating tuktuks for transport to sourcing and serving us fresh coconuts! Our kids enjoyed asking Renson all about coconuts and the mini lesson they got about the types of coconuts and its use in local cuisine. Thank you Anni for hosting us - we hope to visit again in the future if we are in Diani again!

Très bonne équipe accueillante. Cottage avec jardin et piscine privée très jolie et très propre. Nous recommandons. Il faut aimer les chats, et pas avoir peur de quelques insectes.

We had a fantastic stay at kiko’s beautiful Villa . The house is very nice clean, and well-maintained with tropical garden— perfect for a relaxing getaway. Kiko and Cathy were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, welcome meal were provided since we have arrive late: They went above and beyond by arranging a private chef (Eric)for us including shopping for all the groceries, and the meals were amazing! and also helped coordinate transportation to and from the airport. The location is ideal — just a 10-minute walk to the beach or you can take Tuktuk to the beach. The house also has its own private pool and a great garden outdoor where we could hang out and chill. We were a group of 7 families, and the space was more than enough for all of us. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. it was a beautiful holiday in a lovely and well furnished apartment. with a view of the ocean by day and the sound of waves by night. we really enjoyed joeys house and it was very convenient to have a restaurant next door. everyone was very friendly and we had a great and relaxing time. thanks!

Great place to stay in Diani. 10 mins walk to the beach, apartment is in the building with security. No strangers are coming inside the property. Apartment is very nice, a lot of space and everything is equipped. Housekeeping is available. Air conditioning in every room. Although there might be a power shortage sometimes, however I think this was a general issue of the town. Pool is great, a little bit warm :D Communication with owner is amazing, very helpful. We receive a guide with instructions and useful information. All requests were completed in a very fast way and host is very polite and nice. Do not recommend the restaurant upstairs, but there are plenty of options in the town. Must say that the driveway to the building is harsh, road is not built there. Car was okay, but a little bit hard in tuktuk. I would recommend the apartment, very cozy, big and close to the Bach. Good standard for the price.

Patricia is a super host. She communicated well and made things run smooth. This place was great! Super clean, comfortable and spacious. Risper the housekeeper and Wafula the chef made this vacation extra sweet for us. We cleared the plates from delicious meals everyday and Risper was very hospitable. Having the pool was a plus. This is a hidden gem that we hope to come back again to someday. We are forever grateful!

We had a great stay at the property and suitable for little children. Rachel the housekeeper welcomed us and came daily, the property had everything we needed for a long week end stay. The beach was a few meters from the house with an Askari (guard) on the gate and an Askari on the main gate so you felt safe. The pool is wonderful just what was needed to cool off in the heat. We chose to have a chef, John, who bought all the groceries and fish and prepared everything requested even during a power cut he produced our evening meal. Would definitely recommend this place.

The host was very kind and helpful. It was my first visit to Diani, so it took a little adjusting to how our journey had been leading up to this part. Our tuk tuk driver was excellent and we felt comfortable getting around once we understood our surroundings. The staff was available when we needed help.

Doreen was a fantastic host—warm, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. She gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat, and even helped us book water-based activities and restaurant reservations, which made our stay so much easier and more enjoyable. Her hospitality truly stood out and added a personal touch to our trip. Highly recommended!

The Apartment was very good- it had everything you needed to enjoy a good Holiday. Kitchen was well equipped and a great bathroom. Great size apartment and a good outlook onto the Pool. Simba apartments are ideally placed to get around the Diani village , its restaurants, shops and near a good beach area. The Hosts were helpful with questions and am sure would do everything they could to help us. Its wise to plan places to eat and go out prior to going as many are within a beachfront hotel and be aware a small upfront fee is payable which is deducted from your meal bill. Food and service is great and some lovely beachfront locations to go to . Amazing beaches .

I spent a couple of days at the apartment. The place was beautiful with a seamless check in process. Alex was an amazing host , assisting me whenever I needed help. I enjoyed my stay.

Pam’s Place was the perfect choice for our needs during our trip to attend a wedding at the Diani Beach Resort. Traveling on a budget, my wife and I took a chance on this affordable gem, which offered exceptional value compared to the resort. Nestled in a stunning location, it’s ideal for those seeking an authentic experience immersed in the local community, unlike the more private, tourist-oriented resort. The highlight was our host, Pam, whose warmth and responsiveness went above and beyond. When we forgot our phone chargers, she generously lent us her own. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Pam’s Place for travelers looking for great value and a genuine connection with the local culture.

It was such an amazing experience and tbh I would do it over and over again. Peter is so homely and so friendly, he definitely makes you feel home away from home. Benta offered cleaning for each and every of the days we were there and was super helpful. A 10/10 experience all round.

Hiii, me and my partner had a good time at omondis apartment!! The view is nice and the hose totally fine especially for the price. The pool got cleaned but it was still quite empty and abandoned. Maybe also bc we were out of season there and anyway it was nice quiet then. The house was clean but still in the evening some cockroaches showed up. So maybe for people who really can’t stand them it’s not the best place. For us it was totally fine bc it was not a lot and from our experience it’s quite hard to find places where there is not one… the communication with omondi was friendly and helpful! Thank you!:)

Place is very clean, owner communicates effectively making it much easy. Location of the property is very good, very close to the beach and service centre's. A very quiet and secure place

Pros: Beautiful Space Exactly as advertised in the pictures Well stocked kitchen with useful utensils/appliances/crockery Spacious, very clean bathroom Great location in Diani. Very close to nice restaurants, shopping centers and the beach. Cons: Hot water was not consistent (Lukewarm at times) Rain shower did not work (pressure) All in all, Julie's place is beautiful and very convenient. We loved it.
