Family-friendly holiday rentals in Devonport

Gorgeous place with everything you'd want to have a cute little weekend away!! hot tub was set up so all we had to do was pull back the cover and hop right in. Kitchen had everything needed to cook whatever meals you fancy. Just a 2 minute walk away from the local and less than a 10 minute drive out to the moors.. perfect!!

We had such a beautiful stay at the lodge. It was so quiet and peaceful (until our kids discovered the hub, and then the peace ended). The lodge is gorgeous, and the hub hosted many a movie night for us. The hot tub was also an added bonus which we loved. Damian was a very helpful host and provided some great local recommendations which we checked out and really enjoyed. We would love to return and stay longer next time.

An excellent place to stay with a lot of thought put into catering for young children. We especially loved the play area, the toys and games stored in the utility and the extra special touch of chocolate eggs that we were able to hide for an Easter egg hunt. At first I thought the bedrooms were on two levels. I was delighted to discover that both bedrooms were technically side by side, adjoined by only two steps. This put me at ease as we came to stay with two young children and wondered about sleeping arrangements. The grounds were beautiful and the place was spotless. Would definitely stay again.

This is a very special property. Large, beautifully laid out and equipped. We appreciated the fabulous location, the gorgeous kitchen with 3 ovens and 2 sinks and great space for us all to eat and the comfort of the beds. We also loved the cosy lighting and furnishings., The cows in the field were an added bonus. We loved this place and will likely rebook. Thank you.

A wonderful peaceful place which felt like a retreat. The owners were friendly and being able to join in with feeding the animals in the morning was great (not just for children). Sauna and hot tub was great. They would check what time we wanted it put on which was considerate. Was a surprise weekend for our mum and was even better than expected. Thank you for the stay x

Honestly the photos do not do this place justice its incredible what a view and the host could not have been better extremely helpful, always there at request, respectful, polite all round wonderful person even made us scones to bake and the the towels shaped in to love hearts was a really nice touch they made us feel welcome and right at home would recommend to anyone thank you sheila for a great experience will be visiting again

Lower Marsh Farm is brilliant. Wonderful location, excellent facilities, peaceful and calm. Due to the rural location, you do need a car to get there and navigate the area. Olivia the host is incredibly attentive, the instructions for getting there are clear, the optional services are excellent, and the setting is idyllic. We visited with two young children who were captivated by the wildlife and farm animals. Enjoy!

A perfect apartment for a short stay in beautiful Looe. The apartment is well equipped with everything you would need for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its location is great with a wonderful view down over Looe harbour. If you're planning to walk, it might be a rather steep climb to come back up to the apartment. All in all we had a great time. Highly recommended!

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your perfect cottage in your idyllic gardens, surrounded by the most unspoilt and beautiful countryside. We booked last minute for a much needed break away from it all. We feel so lucky to have found you!! We enjoyed long walks, sea swims and delicious food at Journeys Inn and The Oyster shack. Happy memories created and we hope very much that to return before too long.

We’ve stayed at TREBURRICK a number of times and we’re never disappointed. The cottage is very cosy with everything you need plus a lovely courtyard garden. Thurlestone is a beautiful village and our dog, Boris, loves the local walks and going to Hope Cove for some beach fun. We aim to return again for another weekend break and would highly recommend it.

Absolutely perfect stay! Having first stayed here in 2019 we returned and have just spent three nights at this beautiful rural Airbnb and couldn’t have asked for more. The bed was incredibly comfy, ensuring a great night’s sleep after long coastal walks. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The property had everything we needed, and the garden was a peaceful spot to relax. We loved the walks to Hope Cove and also did a fantastic 10km hike along the coast to Salcombe. Can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back!

What a lovely break! Well-equipped and very comfortable home. Hosts very friendly, and it was fun watching their animals too! Local for Brentor, Tavistock and Cotehele, and can highly recommend Blacksmiths Arms for tremendous Sunday lunch. Thank you, Gary and Lisa.

This was my second stay at Maggie’s place in Cornwall and all I can say is I wish i hadn’t left it so long. I’d forgotten just how beautiful a location it is and so so peaceful in the evenings after a long day at work. There have been a few additions to the equipment in the kitchen which made my cooking experience even easier than before. But overall…. I love it there and didn’t want to leave it at check out this morning. Thank you Maggie. See you again soon I hope.

We stayed for a long weekend, and had friends join us for the first night. Bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The house is in a lovely spot, and really quiet. Instructions accurate and detailed. The kitchen was well appointed and two fridges a really useful touch. If you plan to use the BBQ you will need to bring charcoal - the local Asda had very limited option, so we recommend planning ahead! We made the most of being on the south west coast path on our second day, walking all the way to Salcombe…. The trek back up the hill was a little more intense than we hoped, but a great location. We would have happily stayed a few more days!

Great house. Beautiful area and gardens. Has everything you could want. Parking is in another street but wasn’t problem as you can walk from it. Would love to stay again

Matt and Chloe were great hosts, communicative and helpful. The house was lovely, modern, private and set amongst the trees. There was a great welcome basket waiting for us with visitor information, scones, jam and clotted cream, tea, milk in the fridge. The bathroom was great, with a good power shower. The beds were very comfortable with lovely bed linen. The weather was not so good but we did manage to use the pool, which was clean and a nice temperature. We visited: Port Isaac, Padstow, Rock, Bodmin jail. A great place to stay, we would not hesitate to book again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Thurlstone. The apartment was ideally located on the beach making it easy for easy beach fun for the kids. They went rockpooling, swimming and made sandcastles every day. We enjoyed the views of the sunset while having dinner and drinks on the balcony. The flat was bright and spacious. We felt safe and had a comfortable stay with everything that a family of five would need. Our host was responsive, accommodating and friendly. We would stay again in a heartbeat :)

We had a wonderful stay at Martin’s caravan. Having stayed at this site before we knew the location was perfect, but Martin’s caravan is another level of quality compared to standard ParkDean caravans. Spacious, clean, well equipped and the addition of the veranda & picnic bench all make for a wonderful stay.

Milton was extremely helpful. We left a few things behind he couldn’t have been more helpful. Answered every message quickly. We felt really at home in the Lodge. Everything we needed and appreciated the fire as the weather suddenly turned cold. Thank you for all your help. We would love to stay again.

It was a wonderful venue and the villa was perfect. Hopefully, we will return for another fabulous holiday.

Lovely secluded spot in Cornwall, easy driving to National Trust, beaches, and other walks. Well kitted out for young children too. Sally was really helpful whenever I communicated with her, would definitely stay again.

Beautiful cosy lodge, close to amenities. Fully equipped and plenty of space. The sofas and beds are amazing and and we just felt at home and very comfortable. Lovely place to stay

We had the most wonderful time in Heligan apartment. It worked out perfectly with our toddler. Julie was really welcoming and the apartment met our needs. Location wise it was easy to explore a number of places within east reach. The garden is stunning and the outdoor pool a massive bonus. The weather was incredible too so it really felt like being in the Mediterranean! Highly recommend this quite, tranquil find. Thank you Julie x
