A lovely get away, Carlos was very hospitable and introduced himself not long after check in and making sure everything was ok & if we had any questions we knew where to find him. Would definitely stay again.

Nice compact apartment, but with plenty of space for the two of us and our large retired guide dog. Very well equipped with absolutely everything you need. Loved the breakfast supplies, containers of breakfast cereal, bread, spreadable and milk. But worth mentioning that there are quite a few steep steps down to the property.

Honestly the photos do not do this place justice its incredible what a view and the host could not have been better extremely helpful, always there at request, respectful, polite all round wonderful person even made us scones to bake and the the towels shaped in to love hearts was a really nice touch they made us feel welcome and right at home would recommend to anyone thank you sheila for a great experience will be visiting again

Lovely modern apartment set in beautiful peaceful and restful surroundings. Very clean with all facilities. Clear instructions for check-in and general instructions. Felt very at home. Easy to find and some manageable steps to property. Nice beach and amazing views. Within walking distance or five minute drive from Looe-which was our main interest. Would happily book again. I recently had the pleasure of staying for two nights in this charming barn conversion, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The location is wonderfully peaceful, making it the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The facilities were top-notch and eco-conscious, which I truly appreciated. Penny, the host, was friendly and attentive. When I encountered a minor issue upon arrival, she resolved it quickly and with genuine apologies, ensuring my stay was comfortable from the start. I highly recommend this lovely spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. You won't be disappointed!

We had a fantastic stay at Russels apartment. The location is amazing, right on the beach, so we woke to the sounds of the sea every morning. The apartment is big and spacious, bigger than it looks in the photos and the large parking space was a great bonus. The beach is shingle and the sea calm, ideal for novice paddle boarders like me. The staff at the Bay restaurant next door are really friendly and the food was lovely. We visited many of Russels recommended places for food and all were good. There are a few shops very near by and the coastal path makes a great morning walk or run. We will be back x

Fabulous property! The view and backyard are unbeatable! There were nice treats to treat us upon arrival: a personalized sign, milk and a nice toffee bread. What a thoughtful and kind touch. The house is clean and well-equipped with all you might need. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a full sized washer and dryer. There is a park and waterfront within about a 7-10 mile walk down the hill. The area is quiet and feels safe. Self check-in was incredibly easy and the hosts were easily accessible, but never a bother. We would definitely recommend this listing!

We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

Our first visit to Looe was made perfect by staying at Captain's Retreat. The apartment is beautifully presented and has the most spectacular views over the town and to the sea. We received a warm welcome from Martin and would not hesitate to recommend the property to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in Looe, especially with the off road parking directly in front of the entrance. Enjoyed eating at the Sardine Factory and also the traditional pasties from Sarah's Pasties in Buller St. Thanks to Jay and Martin for a great break.

The cottage is well placed for weddings at Polhawn fort which is a short walk away with amazing views along the way. It is very spacious, warm and clean and is well stocked with toiletries and everything we needed in the kitchen. The appliances in the kitchen were easy to understand and use. The delicious apple juice left in the fridge was much appreciated as was the milk, tea, coffee etc. Our grandson enjoyed running around the garden which has plenty of seating and tables. There are some good walks from the door and it would be good to go back for longer next time to explore the area. We had to drive down some narrow roads to reach the cottage but fortunately the roads weren't busy.

We had a lovely time away. Alison and Craig are amazing hosts, very helpful, we appreciated all the recommendations. They make sure everything is up to your standards and want you to feel at home, which we really did. This beautiful place has all the facilities you need. The view is breathtaking and the bbq is a perfect touch. We enjoyed drinks at the local pub with the view of the beach, the beach is lovely and peaceful. The food and cocktails at the local restaurant are also amazing!

Jenny was a fantastic host! Very welcoming and always responsive. The house felt like home away from home, with everything we needed there. She even left a little pack of goodies for me and my friends. Even details like shower gels: shampoos etc. We asked for a slightly later check out so we weren’t too rushed and she allowed us, which was brilliant. Couldn’t have asked for a better host. The house is a short walk from both town centre and the nightlife, but just far enough so we could get a good nights sleep. Perfect for us. Thank you. Anthony was attentive prior and throughout our stay, he provided lots of detail and useful information relating the property and equally the local area. The communication response was time was very efficient and always replied within 5 minutes of reaching out to him. Between me and my three friends, we agreed that Anthony’s property was probably the nicest air BnB’s which we had stayed at - if you’re reading this review, you have to experience it for yourself! Great location as well!!

My favourite air BnB I've stayed in- such an interestingly beautiful home that is also comfortable and relaxing. Walking distance from the Hoe and city centre, we'll definitely be trying to rebook when we visit again! My only gripe is that we had such a packed schedule that we didn't have more time to hang out there. Highly recommend!

A stunning, incredible place in the most special town of Looe. Every day, you wake up to the view of the sea, to the bustle of the quayside and the boats going by. There’s a lot of love put into this charming flat! It’s also well-equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is just so perfect—you have access to the center of town and it’s the perfect starting point to head to the Coastal Path hike. The host was responsive and sent detailed instructions as well!

Pro: perfect location, close to the Hoe and walkable distance to city centre and Barbican. Chloe provides daily parking permit which is super helpful! Any very easy to find a parking space in Citadel Road. Welcome milk and chocolate. We love them. Plenty choices of seasoning for cooking, cleaning tools and laundry detergent. Con: The sound transfers easily between floors. The kids wake up 6:50 - 7:10am every morning and start to running and jumping. It becomes quite loud, making it difficult for my 1 year old baby to keep sleeping. You will never late for a morning meeting if you are having a business travel, but you may carefully consider if you want to wake up naturally. A little bit dusty at the beginning that I cannot stop sneezing. But get better when I wiped the blinds and put those artificial flowers in closets.

Gregor’s place was perfect for our stay in south Devon. Comfortable and everything we needed as a family. The boys loved the swing in the garden and the snakes and ladders. It was close to some beautiful beaches and the nearby newton ferrers and Noss mayo were pretty. Recommend the green deli cafe! And the ship inn.
