House holiday rentals in Devonport

We had the most beautiful 2-night stay at Chateau Clarence Point with our family from April 17th to 19th. The home was even better than the pictures—so spacious, clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Our little ones loved the playroom and all the space to run around, while the adults enjoyed the peaceful views of the Tamar River and cosy evenings by the fire pit. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up some lovely family meals, and the whole house just had such a calm, welcoming feel to it. The hosts made sure everything was perfect for our stay. It was the perfect way to start our Tasmania trip—relaxing, comfortable, and full of lovely memories. Highly recommend this gem to anyone travelling with family or friends!

Will definitely stay at this place again, very nice property

We had a relaxing trip, the house was great for our two families with kids. The pizza oven was definitely the highlight and the view was gorgeous Kitchen had more than you need and everything was well stocked.

We as an extended family make this a regular family getaway. We have always had such a great time and thoroughly enjoy all the activities on offer. Some fierce 8 ball is played. Cricket and football in the huge yard. A spot of fishing nearby and swimming in the beautiful pool is always a highlight. An added bonus this year was getting a message to say we could check in early. Thank you again. The memories we get from our stay are beautiful. A trip to the Beaconsfield mine was also a highlight this year.

Kyle’s place was absolutely amazing. I stayed there with my bridesmaids to get ready for my wedding, it was absolutely stunning. Perfectly designed. Very comfortable to stay in.

We had a great stay at Bee and Co’s Turners Beach house! The whole place was spacious, clean, and really well equipped with everything we needed. The kids loved the heated pool! Would definitely recommend for families or groups looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We can’t wait to visit again! :)

Sarah's place was great for our group of two couples. Appreciated the two bathrooms, well equipped kitchen. Very clean. Easy to find and convenient location. Lovely views from the top floor. Beds were comfortable. Would have benefited from heating in lower bedroom. Overall happy with the stay. Thanks Sarah.

Chose to stay because of the lock up garage as traveling with a trailer and bikes, but loved the automatic gates and sensor lights for security and easy visibility on our late arrival. Home was warm on arrival, and wood fire set to also ready to go. Thoughtful host even down to the choice of bread we would like, which wasn’t expected but greatly appreciated, loved looking over the river in the morning through the big windows, love to stay again!

Eagle Nest III is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The view is breathtaking, the rooms are beautiful, and the whole place feels like a dream come true. I was honestly amazed — didn’t expect to find a place this magical. The host was fabulous and gave super clear instructions. The outdoor hot tub is a must — easy to use and perfectly placed to soak in the stunning mountain views. The road to the unit is easy to access, and once you’re there, the peace and calm are unmatched. There’s a cozy fireplace with plenty of firewood, so no worries about keeping warm. Plus, the nearby farm animals (chickens, cows, bunny!) make the whole experience even more delightful. I left feeling refreshed, happy, and already thinking about my next visit. Highly, highly recommended! :)

This place exceeded our expectations. The photos and description do not do it justice. It is a very private, peaceful full size three bedroom home. There is a tennis court as part of the property and it sits on a large orchard as the only residence. It had everything we needed and was spacious, light and cosy. Highly recommended.

We had a truly memorable Easter weekend at By the Mercey. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed, Evelyne and Richard even came by to greet us personally, and had left a beautiful handwritten note along with a thoughtfully curated welcome book full of local highlights and nature photography. The views overlooking the Mercey River and Devonport were absolutely stunning, and the house itself was spotless and cozy. My wife, daughter, and son all felt so comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. The location was peaceful and scenic, yet only minutes from shops, parks, and just a 5-minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania terminal, which made our travel super easy. It was the perfect little escape for our family, and we’d absolutely love to come back again. Thanks Evelyne and Richard.

It was a private heaven for us and we felt right at home once we stepped in. Home was very spacious and the location was great to visit the north coast :) Home could definitely fit a bigger group, but it was very comfortabld for the both of us. Thanks to Max as well for the good communication!

This was our second stay at Estelle's property at Penguin. The property was as immaculate as for our first stay so obviously characteristic of a very high standard and pride in how Estelle presents the property. This was one of the most memorable Airbnb experiences I’ve had in Australia. From the moment we stepped into the home, we were blown away by the bright, open-plan design that perfectly reflects the Australian lifestyle. The spacious living room, dining area, and master bedroom are all framed by large floor-to-ceiling windows that open up to a serene view of sand dunes and the ocean – simply stunning. What made this stay extra special was the warm hospitality. It was the first time I’ve been personally welcomed by a host in Australia, and it made all the difference. We were greeted with a bottle of welcome champagne, handmade chocolates, freshly baked bread, eggs, milk, coffee, ice cream, and even beer – opening the fridge felt like arriving at a dear friend’s home, not just a rental.

We had a fabulous stay—Riverscape was stunning, beautifully appointed, and incredibly comfortable and welcoming. Beyond all the usual comforts, we were treated to thoughtful extras like a bottle of Tassie wine, delicious shortbread biscuits, and even a pillow spray to help us unwind for a restful night’s sleep. We’d highly recommend Riverscape to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating escape. A heartfelt thank you to Michelle and Raechel for creating such a lovely space.

We had a wonderful time staying at Sharon’s place, it was peaceful, comfortable and felt like a true home away from home. Everything was clean and thoughtful prepared. We really appreciated the calm atmosphere and would love to stay again.

Forest Hall is a magnificent old house which Emma & Stu are very proud to own. The house is gorgeous with a huge garden which they are restoring to its original beauty. There are wonderful outbuildings, and the rooms inside the house are luxurious. The bedrooms have delicious linens, the library was our favourite spot with the fire going and a good book. The area has nice cafes and drives, it's a great base for this part of Tasmania. A chance to enjoy a geniune slice of romantic Tasmanian history.

Comfy, clean and very spacious, with wheelchair accessibility and a bathtub! A beautiful place to stay for a great price. Thanks, Donna and Shepherd
