Guest house holiday rentals in Detroit River

This condo was an end unit with a beautiful unobstructed view of the lake. Some of us walked from the ferry to the condo. Golf cart rentals are available right there on the property. Ian was proactive with information before and during our stay. I would stay here again. Thank you.

Can’t complain! This unit was perfect for my family! We were on the island for the Sports Car Races and had a blast! The ease of renting a golf cart was also so great! The sunrises and the moon viewing is incredible.

Cozy and awesome! This was an amazing place to stay. Beautiful and peaceful. And the town of Brighton was outstanding. We had a very minor issue with the tv connecting to the internet and it was fixed by the owners within minutes. I would highly recommend and I would stay there again. . . several times!

Nora is a great host. She will do everything she can to make sure you have a good experience at her place. She is also very knowledgeable about the area and provides good recommendations!

My stay was absolutely perfect! The space was clean and adorable. Babs really thought of everything we could need. It was so peaceful which was nice to come back to after a long, fun-filled day. I would love to stay here again on my next visit!

Perfect location for Windsor, LaSalle, Essex. Cute basement set up. Waterfall showerhead was a plus. Bed was comfortable but soft. (Those with sore backs could struggle). Lots of closet space. We stayed 5 days and they accommodated our ongoing revisions graciously!

If you’re looking for a relaxing beach vacation, this is the place for you! We stayed here as a family of 4 (daughters ages 5 and 6). We loved the area and the beach. There are plenty of fun activities and restaurants within driving distance if the weather is bad. Nearby Wheatley is quiet and has a great little ice cream shop and anything you could need. We loved our morning coffee on the covered porch. Stephany was wonderful and so quick to respond. We’d love to be back someday!

Wonderful place to stay for one or two people. Host was great with communication and gave clear instructions with photos. I really appreciated not having a huge list of check out things to do.

Stayed the weekend and enjoyed our stay. Should have planned the trip better but next time and that’s on me. Easy to have uber or Lyft to pick us up for the ballgame. Downtown Detroit was interesting! If you go definitely try The Dime store at 719 Griswold St delicious food. Cheesesteak Benny ! Yum. If you like Chinese try Shangria-la at 417 Cass Ave. so much to choose from and huge portions! Well worth a visit

Bridgette’s home made our trip to Michigan so magical! Our family felt right at home almost immediately. She was very accommodating and very kind to our sons and our family. There were great parks in the neighborhood which we frequented during our stay and the local eats and her recommendations were great! We would absolutely stay here again. Safe neighborhood great host and nice house. Keep in mind it is an older home so it isn’t perfect but it had everything we needed and the proximity to everything was amazing! Highly recommend!

Had a lovely stay- we arrived late at night and Audrey offered to unlock the door for us as we were carrying our small child.

Me and my daughter enojyed the quietness of the location. The pool was definitely a highlight!

Stayed here before and the area was just as beautiful in the winter. The snow on the trees surrounding the area and the wildlife was a beautiful thing to see. Very nice place for a little get away in a beautiful, peaceful area.

Perfect spot for us to stay after attending a nearby wedding. Space was spotless. We were only there to sleep so we didn’t have much opportunity to check out the surroundings but we loved the rooster in the morning!

We had a wonderful stay with Nancy. The loft had a ton of natural light (sleep masks provided) and the highway noise was not a bother at all (earplugs were provided but did not need to use). Kitchen is stocked with cooking pans, parchment, and foil, as well as a variety of spices. Bathroom floor takes a fair bit of time to dry after shower and is small and limited on storage, but it is perfect for one person or a couple. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would come again!
