DeRuyter Lake house near mountainous section of the Finger Lakes hiking trail & Highland Forest. Home off main road on year quiet lane directly on lake. Clean pristine lake. 1 of top 2 highest NY reservoirs feeders for Erie Canal. Nicer quality dock with ladder. Floaties, kickboards, noodles. 2 nice kayaks-2 person & 1 person sit on top type, canoe. Bocce set, horseshoes. Some random jackets there. For safety bring yours. NOTE-NO DECK TABLE pictured anymore. Bring your toys! Boats etc.

Set on a peninsula, this home has a lot of fun features, including a full lawn, screened in wrap around porch facing the water, outdoor BBQ area, fire pit, and seasonal private dock and boat slip. The Boathouse Restaurant is just a walk away. The friendly DeRuyter Lake General Store you can see from the porch windows on the south end. Please provide your own sheets, blankets, and towels. Lots of added fun with the fire pit, BBQ grill, outdoor hot tub, deck overlooking the water, dock to jump off, a kayak and canoe. Please bring your own bedding and bath towels. There are two queen beds, one in each main bedroom, and a bunk bed with two twins in the third bedroom. You provide your own sheets, blankets, and comforters thanks. We have pillows on the beds.

Stay a night at our tiny Hobbit House

We are close to Syracuse NY, Jamesville Beach,and Tully. You’ll love our place because - Well, its a Hobbit House :). Very cozy 12 by 12 cabin set in the back of my land right where the woods start. Small cabin good for a couple and maybe a child or two but no more than that. It has an outhouse. If this is sounding too basic or off the grid then please don't book! :) because that's exactly what is. But you also get to say you stayed in a cozy little hobbit house.

This DeRuyter Lake house is the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a peaceful and serene experience. We were fortunate to have great weather so we were able to enjoy the provided Inner Tubes as well as rent kayaks at the General Store down the road. there's plenty to explore in all directions. my partner and I enjoyed driving to all of the different towns and trying many breweries and restaurants. overall we were very happy with our stay and would recommend it and consider staying again in the future.

Our stay in this stunning farmhouse in Cazenovia is one my family will never forget! The home itself is a treasure and made us feel like we were in an HGTV episode it was so beautifully curated. It felt like true luxury. The amenities were above and beyond and there were cute little touches like a prepped jar of s'mores fixins for nighttime campfires. Our kids loved exploring the property the entire time—they didn't ask to watch TV for 3 days straight which has to be some kind of record! All in all, I highly recommend this property!

Our family of 4 and dog love this cabin- if we had our own, we’d want it to be just like this one. It’s exactly what we need to unplug, live more simply, and connect with nature for a few days. We love the woodburning stove, outdoor kitchen, stringing up our hammocks, and relaxing by or exploring the stream. Rod is a fantastic host!

Kay was very accommodating when our son’s baseball tournament game schedule changed and we asked to change the days around. The house was everything we could have asked for. The owners are the nicest, even coming up to say hi when they heard my boys playing basketball outside. 5 out of 5, would recommend and plan on reserving the house if we have another Cortland tournament!

Luxury Lakehouse on the water!

Just returned home from our stay at Max’s home and it was absolutely gorgeous! We had a total of 9 guests (4 adults, 3 teenagers & 2 children) and there was plenty of space for all of us! This is by far the cleanest AirBNB I have ever stayed in. Our weather unfortunately was not the best so we did spend a bit more time indoors than anticipated but that was ok with me! The fire pit right on the lake was perfect and the upstairs deck was so relaxing (especially for morning coffee). Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen & dining space was top notch. I cannot recommend this property enough! You will not be disappointed!
