Bungalow holiday rentals in Den Helder

We had a wonderful time there. Nice cottage, very quiet in the back and yet within 5 minutes in the shopping street, full of cafes, restaurants, shops,... Jumbo and Lidl are also immediately nearby. The cottage has everything to make it cozy. Candles, cozy blanket, good seat, lovely beds and a kitchen with a view of the garden. Heating works fine too. You only need to increase the thermostat by 1 degree... and everything is nice and warm. The Nespresso is also a luxury. Dirk has even provided enough coffee pods, cookies and sugar and milk. Tea and a kettle are also available. Nice tableware too. In the bathroom, you can find all kinds of shampoos and shower soaps. The toilet is ingenious, with a small sink on top! 😀 As mentioned, a top stay with a host who is always quick to reach. We are definitely blown away! 😉 We will be back! 😍

We Loved the area and the layout of the bungalow, plenty of room for clothes and food, great bbq and outside seating, and lastly responsive and kind hosts.

A wonderful place with lots of privacy, equipped with every comfort and it had a very nice atmosphere, every time we returned to the cottage. It was really a home for us for a week. We greatly enjoyed the location close to the beach. You can park your car well and you can drive your bikes into the garden in no time. Safe for children and tranquility for adults. Very nice, clean, perfectly equipped and modern accommodation in a great, quiet location. Dunes, beach and center are within minutes walking distance. We felt very comfortable, our dog Lucy was also very welcome. There were a few delicious attentions for all of us to welcome and always nice deals from the hosts, such as more towels, earlier check-in and later check out. It was a super comfortable stay overall!

The apartment was in a bungalow park, only about 6 minutes by car from the beach and within walking distance of a lake. Everything was clean and the amenities included everything you need in everyday life. Communication with Sander was always super friendly. We can only recommend the place :)

We really liked the cottage. Great amenities (just no dishwasher) and very clean, well-maintained accommodation with a nice garden/terrace. Beach only about 1 km away on foot. In our opinion, there are outstanding conditions for cycling (lockable storage for the bikes at the house), hiking /running, especially in the dunes, in the region around Julianadorp. Would have liked to have stayed longer (only 4 nights) and will definitely come back.

We had a great and quiet stay. For the first vacation with our excited and controlling sheriff (German shepherd), it was a complete success. She was always lying in the garden and just felt comfortable. For us, the accommodation and the surroundings were also great and everything was as described. Within 10 minutes by car you are at the beach and in 5 at the supermarket, or at the dunes. Communication with Marleen and Martijn was possible at all times. Questions were answered directly. I would do it again at any time.

Very nice little house, also suitable for families. The park in which the house is located is very nicely laid out and you are less than 1h (depending on traffic 30-45min) from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague. You can take the rental bikes to the surrounding villages. The beach is within walking distance and it is a nice walk. Communication with the landlady was also great and the property manager on site is also a super sweet and supportive person. Everyone is easily accessible, respond quickly and have good tips. We had 2 dogs with us and it was ultra straightforward and everything very dog friendly. We would book again at any time

We were in North Holland for a short trip with our dog. the check-in was flexible, Hans and Anita very nice and the place very clean, well equipped and warm. We were able to make nice excursions! Gladly come back.

We spent 8 nights here as a couple with a dog and were very enthusiastic. Everything as described and in great condition. Super well-maintained facility and all employees are always friendly and helpful. The nearest shopping facilities were also directly pointed out. The surroundings are ideal for cycling. Informative note: The accommodation only has bed linen in its normal state. No towels, no toilet paper, no detergent, no soap,..... But there is a small starter package on arrival. All in all: great, we have already recommended it to others.

Loekie’s place was absolutely perfect for me and my dog to escape to the countryside for a few days. Loekie made us feel right at home and was so accommodating and flexible on arrival time and check out. The cottage was just perfect with the most incredible views of the meadows and nature, beautiful sunrises every morning to wake up to in panorama!! Everything was well thought out and good quality with even bone china plates and cups and really nice pots and pans! What a gem of a place, thank you for having us and hope to see you again soon 🥰

They also came out to greet me when I arrived.The owner is very friendly.On the second night, they also heated the outside bath for us.The water temperature was quite high, and I enjoyed it so much that I was sweating.Thank you!

A great accommodation, atypical and comfortable in a real haven of peace and greenery. First breakfast of the year on the terrace🤗. Close to Amsterdam and Edam, accessible by bikes rented in Purmerend. 🥰 Very nice hosts and dogs. We highly recommend it.

The accommodation was *absolutely clean, very quiet* with parking in front of the door. Just as described - you immediately feel comfortable. Marion was available at all times and responded quickly. We were particularly enthusiastic about the location: The charming cities of Alkmaar, Egmond and Bergen were super easy to reach by bike – perfect for relaxing excursions. The surrounding dune landscapes are fantastically beautiful, and the beach bars are a real highlight – casual, inviting and with a great atmosphere. An all-round successful stay, which we can highly recommend to everyone!

Thanks to Monique, who prepared everything very nicely and was super accessible. The house has everything you need, it is very cozy! The kitchen is well equipped, everything very clean, also the linens and the beds very comfortable! Quiet area, very restorative! We have to come back when the tulips bloom. Surrounded by a tulip sea-that must be fantastic!
