We ABSOLUTELY loved our visit, and plan to return and stay with Basia! Our weekend consisted of rainy weather and she offered us a covered porch which was well worth it!! Each morning we had a peaceful water view with the horses in the distance. I don’t think it could get any better. The boat tour was SO much fun. Basia stayed in contact with us about when would be the better time to go. She really looked out for us when the weather would be at its peak. Her recommendations never failed to impress. Thank you SO much for having us!! We plan to be back.

I came here to have a few days in nature by myself and I’m really glad I chose Joe’s place. I was able to mediate outside surrounded by a beautiful pasture and farm animals. It was healing. The space is also exactly as described. It’s quirky (in a good way) and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here visiting family nearby. The place is very clean and set up thoughtfully for guests. I really appreciated that it was already stocked with some coffee and creamers, so I didn't need to go shopping right after arriving. The neighborhood is small but walkable and has two good seafood restaurants a short walk away. Pam provided clear instructions and communication.

We loved the little red cabin, great location! Everything was perfectly explained, easy check in and check out. Definitely looking forward to staying again!

We highly recommend staying at the Shady Bear Cabin! It's close to town but peaceful enough to feel like you're on a vacation. Gerry is a wonderful host - very friendly and helpful. The cabin had just enough of everything we needed for the weekend stay. If we ever need to rent near Frederick again, we will definitely be repeat customers! Special shoutout to Mr. Moo, the sweetest cat concierge <3

We enjoyed our stay in Masha's delightful Urban Cottage and would definitely consider booking there again. It was a lovely atmosphere surrounded by trees in a forest setting, while still being easily accessible from DC.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time staying here. It is so close to everything so we were able to shoot over to the beach at a moments notice. Patty provided an incredible amount of food recommendations as well as information for events that were going on. I highly recommend spending some time visiting the town of Lewis and watching a sunset at Savanah Beach.

Beautiful setting and property. Nestled in a natural setting near a pond with the soothing sound of a water feature. Comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Very private with quaint town and restaurants within a 1 mile drive.

We loved Tommy and Sheryl’s tiny cabin! It was super clean, beautiful and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great hosts ~ Thank you both!!!

I mean, what an INCREDIBLE location! This was our very first time visiting this breathtaking area and the cottage at Brad and David’s was the most quaint little place to stay! Price was absolutely fair and was perfect for my husband and I! My ONE thing to mention- is I think the mattress and pillows are past the best parts of their lives and could stand to be replaced… it appears the mattress is a spring mattress, and on a metal bed frame was far from comfortable and the pillows are on the flat side… BUT- don’t let that stop you from visiting this wonderful cottage for your colonial area trip!

The stay was very nice, it made for the perfect getaway for a few days! We especially appreciated the noise machine in the bedroom and the hammock out back! We'll be sure to check back whenever we're looking to stay in Cape Charles again!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay this past weekend! If I could give more stars I would and I’ll be definitely bringing my children with us next time. Everything that we needed was easily accessible and clearly labeled so we had no issues during our stay. The property was stunning and I loved reading about Jesus while looking around such a great touch. I hope God continues to bless them and provide in all the ways they need. We really enjoyed our stay at the loft! It was right like the pictures and it was very clean. the farm fresh eggs were a fun touch! :) The fun little touches, like the snacks on the table, the eggs in the fridge and the binder of local things to do were really appreciated! highly recommend this place!

Fantastic cottage with everything you need including bikes and a parking pass! Amazing value!!

This was a sweet spot near the park and walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants! We had two outdoor areas of sitting to read with plenty of privacy. I was a great stay!

Definitely one of the cutest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Indoor decor was awesome, and felt very spacious for a tiny home. Easy check-in with a private driveway. Comfy bed with a skylight. What more could you ask for? :)

Whitney was an excellent host! She greeted us with a tour, and was incredibly flexible with our changing schedule due to an infant. She left thoughtful touches - even purchasing a book for our little one!! Her place was exactly as described and we had an excellent stay.

The unit was a perfect spot, close to everything we needed but quiet and peaceful. unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate, but the firepit, grassy lawn and access to 2 bicycles were absolute pluses. We will book again if we have the opportunity.

We had a perfect stay at the Freedom Cottage. It may have been our best Airbnb stay yet. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well thought out and very comfortable. I really enjoyed the history behind the cottage/land and the dining recommendations left in the coffee table book. The bed was incredibly comfortable which is rare when away from home. The location of the cottage was close in proximity to nearly all attractions we visited during our stay. Highly recommend Freedom Cottage to anyone visiting Williamsburg. Tara was a great host!

The cottage was a great place to relax after our drive and exploring different areas on The Virginia Eastern Shore. Beautiful waterfront, picturesque surroundings and lots of stars at night. Very peaceful. A very good location to explore VA small towns and especially close enough to Historic Cape Charles! The cottage was more than stocked with everything we would have needed! Exceptionally clean. We would definitely visit again and hope to chat with Pat who was an outstanding and responsive e host!

We loved our stay on the houseboat. It was larger than we expected and was very comfortable. We had most of what we needed in terms of appliances and utensils. It was very private and quiet with beautiful views of the creek area and the passing boats. Having the facilities of the yacht club was also very convenient. We never needed to drive as there are a number of restaurants and activities within walking distance.

Words cannot describe how wonderful our stay was. The location, the accommodations, and the ‘residents’ of Grateful Meadows were absolutely magical. We really enjoyed our time there, and are extremely thankful we found it. Such a great experience, thank you!

My best friend & I had the best stay! We were here in 2023 & we came back to celebrate her birthday. The Glamper is so cozy & has amazing AC! Jennifer was so kind & took our photo in front of her beautiful hydrangea bush. Cape Charles is 20 minutes away & a beautiful winery is right next door to the Airbnb! One of our favorite stays & we will definitely be back! Thanks Jennifer! 🌞
