Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Delmarva Peninsula

Michelle’s place had everything we needed! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, the living room and dining space were both really nice to use, and we loved the backyard area and hot tub! It was also a very close walk to the water and downtown area! We would definitely recommend:)

The River House was phenomenal, a beautifully furnished place with large riverfront lawn and private boat launch. Exceptionally clean and well-stocked with everything you could think of for a comfy stay (fluffy towels, extra paper products, cleaning supplies, blankets, tons of pillows). Kitchen is as beautiful as the photos, and amply stocked with everything from ziplocs to pyrex to measuring cups and baking tools. The kayaks and canoe were easy to access and use. Easy place to paddle in a calm and quiet tributary. Highly recommend Lindy’s seafood a mile away. Host has compiled a guidebook with lots of local business recs and info. You will not be disappointed with a stay at this awesome retreat.

Immaculate and well-appointed home with gorgeous water views. Evan has thought of every amenity and then some. His guidebook is thorough and helpful in explaining the home and area. Our stay was beyond enjoyable and comfortable. The outside was just as welcoming. The lawn is lush and landscaping beautiful. Would highly recommend- a complete 10/10!

Scott and Melinda's place was perfect for a peaceful getaway for our family of 5. The water was so nice to wake up to and fall asleep hearing the water move by! The thought of all the basic needs and had everything easily accessible from fresh eggs from their chickens, a great variety of coffee pods and creamer, and all the other small needs that come up while staying in an airbnb. This was great since it is off the beaten path. If you are looking for some peaceful family time or a secluded retreat with friends, this is a perfect place!

This house is perfect for large groups. It is very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the dock taking in the serene natural beauty of the Creek and observing the local birdlife, including Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, and Bald Eagles. The house is situated very near to the entrance of Lookout Point State Park which we greatly enjoyed exploring on bicycles. Seeing a large wedge of Tundra Swans fly overhead was a special moment. If you want to spend some time relaxing in a beautiful setting in a beautiful and very interesting area with a large group, this house will serve you well.

The ultimate peaceful and restful location and experience. Carmen was super responsive for all my questions, and her gorgeously designed house had ALL the amenities and comforts from home! Sauces, condiments, spices, coffee and teas, canned goodies, dry pantry goodies - her gourmet kitchen was a delight! Tupperware for leftovers, paper towels, soaps, cleaning supplies, tons of toilet paper and toiletries and bbq supplies. Rain shower experience!! Also water filter, and a bar fridge with bottled water and normal and Diet Coke! Beds out of this world!!! Gorgeous patios with plenty of lounging options, everything was beautiful!!!! Thank you Carmen! Best host ever!

A beautiful home in an amazing location. Loved the peaceful and friendly neighborhood and easy beach access. Natalie was super communicative and friendly. She shared clear instructions and great recommendations for things to do nearby.

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

We stayed one night on our way to the Outer Banks and really liked it. As others have mentioned, the place is perfect—charming, clean, and thoughtfully set up with everything you might need. It was a peaceful stopover and gave us a great start to our trip. Elaine was responsive, welcoming, and made the whole process seamless. Highly recommend!

What a calm and peaceful private retreat! My fiancée and I spent a couple of days enjoying the brisk bay breezes and beautiful sunsets at Vickie’s. Everything was exactly as advertised and Vickie (and Scott) are true treasures—extremely responsive and thoughtful hosts who want you to have everything you need. Plus, their knowledge of the area gave us a great introduction to Leonardtown. So much more to the area than we thought! Whether birdwatching from “the best view on the block” or reflecting on the glider by the bay, we loved every moment of quiet and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you!

My partner and I had a lovely weekend in Chestertown at Beth & Bob’s cottage apartment! They really went the extra mile to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. There were so many thoughtful touches to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. We also loved walking through their beautiful garden. I’m certain we’ll be back again, and we highly recommend this cozy and relaxing spot!

The place was so cute and clean! We appreciated the water bottles that were left for us and the popcorn machine is so fun!

We booked Erma's place for our birdwatching adventure. I had the master bedroom, which was large with comfy bed. My sister slept well on the futon in the second bedroom. Although she sometimes heard people walking around upstairs, their schedules aligned with ours, early to bed and early to rise. Then they were off to work and we went birding at the many wildlife refuges available. We cooked in the small kitchen, with plentiful supplies and condiments, and picked up groceries at Bylers and other nearby stores. The living room was large and comfortable. The large bathroom was conveniently off the living room. Since it was a little chilly with the ac on upstairs, we simply followed the instructions to close the vent and we were fine. Parking was convenient, and we sometimes hung out in the peaceful backyard, occasionally walking over to see the chickens. Erma responded promptly to any questions that I texted.

Had a great time! Kathy and wayne was very helpful on suggesting restaurants and things to do. We loved the dock and fishing! They made sure we was right at home when we interacted with. This was a good central place to all we wanted to see, we went to Hersey Pa. Washington dc., The beach(bay) area, Baltimore harbor.

Great place for a getaway! St. Michael’s is a wonderful town and so easy to get to from this lovely place! Was perfect location for our family ladies trip- plenty of space and just a quick trip down town to the shops and restaurants! - I think we’ll be back!

This was our second time visiting Mark's cabin and it was wonderful!! The cabin is cozy and there were lots of blankets which was really helpful for the evenings and mornings that were a little chillier than I had planned for. The coloring books, art supplies and games were much appreciated by our children and the goats are always so fun to visit with. Mark responds right away and is very helpful and friendly. We felt at home especially on our return visit. We will definitely be visiting again!

Sue’s place is a perfect peaceful getaway by the bay. Close enough to restaurants to enjoy a break from cooking, too! The cottage is as described, but the workmanship of the renovations are exceptional. The design and decor add so much to this cozy place. We’d be delighted to return!

Loved the cabin! Especially enjoyed the hot tub and board games and super comfortable beds! Woke up every morning to the sounds of the birds. Perfectly clean, quiet and peaceful (we did think it would be set back further from the street, but there’s almost no traffic so the road noise was minimal). The wood-fired hot water and heat give a nice rustic touch, plenty of wood is included and it only needs to be stoked twice a day. Laundry soap is provided, which was a nice bonus, as are the kitchen staples (peanut butter, flour, spices, popcorn, etc). Melody is a great communicator, answering all questions promptly, and everything was as described in the listing. Everything is labeled and the instructions and house rules are clear and easy to understand. As someone who travels frequently, this property is well above average, particularly in this region. Will happily stay here again next time we’re in the area!

Cozy little place, perfect for a vacation to escape the business of life. We brought our 9 and 11 year old girls here for spring break and all loved how relaxing and peaceful it was. With our dog, we ventured over to Ingleside winery twice on foot and came back with bottles of wine. We really loved how you could also jump in the car and spend the day looking for shark teeth at Westmoreland state park nearby and come back and relax on the couch watching a movie. We brought pre-made meals and used the hot plate to heat the food up and it was perfect. We definitely want to come again!! Only note, don’t forget to check for ticks after walking outside. We found a couple on us from the walks, but that’s normal for the East Coast!

Loved staying at this sweet little cabin! It was a little smaller than expected but the coziest cutest thing ever! I agree with Heather that this place is best suited for older kiddos and adults, loads of cute decorations and the loft could really trip someone up if they weren’t careful! It was such a peaceful, private place and it really felt like we were in a cabin to ourselves despite being in a neighborhood! Super close to a bunch of amazing wineries, hiking, and downtown Frederick, it was perfect! Thank you Heather!!

Our family (Myself, husband and 3 teenage boys) stayed here twice. Once on the way down to North Carolina from Massachusetts and changed our original plans on the way back to stay here again. Beautiful and comfortable location with plenty of space for our family. Just over a half hour to Baltimore and just over an hour to D.C. which my family loved because we planned to sightsee in the city. We got to do all the city things and come back to a quiet, cozy beautiful farm that had great energy. We saw deer along the roadside every evening we heading back as well. Restaurants, gas stations, stores etc were within minutes. Everyone loved looking out the window and seeing those majestic cows, chickens and farmland. The house was very well appointed with all the amenities you could need while traveling and then some. It was also beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The host were very friendly, accomodating and responsive.We highly recommend and hope to stay again during our future travels.

Beautiful house and beautiful view. Outdoor jacuzzi with the view is not to be missed! Gorgeous and clean home. The private site made it an amazing getaway from busy life. Thank you, we will be back soon!!!
