Stone and Thistle Farm is an ideal escape from the city or and a perfect destination for any farm-curious animal lover. The private suite is lovely in an idyllic setting surrounded by green rolling hills, populated by a menagerie of farm animals- who you’ll meet and learn about on the farm tour. Denise has a beautiful approach to raising livestock and shares the experience with guests. The bathroom is newly renovated and the bed is remarkably comfortable memory foam. Great restaurants in Oneonta and Delhi are just 20 minutes away. Denise gave us excellent recommendations. We can’t wait to go back.

We went for a quick weekend getaway with our two dogs and absolutely loved William and Liz’s home, we didn’t want to leave!! I loved the privacy, how peaceful it was, and of course the views! Our dogs enjoyed all the free space to run as well. We unfortunately had a lot of rain when we stayed, causing our tour of howes cavern to be canceled due to flash flooding. We were rescheduled which affected our check out time, but they were so sweet and offered us to check out whenever we liked and even offered us an extra night to stay! (We wish we could have). It was a wonderful weekend getaway and we all can’t wait to go back! :)

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in upstate NY. The place was spotless and exactly as shown in the photos. It was comfortable, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

Gail's place is the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway to the Oneonta area! There are so many thoughtful touches and amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen. The decor is fun and feels like a home, and the beds are comfortable. We found the location to be a great mix of quiet and private while being within a few minutes of restaurants, a gas station and grocery store. I would highly recommend Gail's home and I'd stay there again when visiting the area!

We loved staying at Peggy’s place! Our son played at All-Star Village and our original accommodation was canceled when their plumbing had issues. My sons spent so many hours in the game room and we couldn’t get enough of the beautiful views from the porch. It fit our party of 8 so well- I wished we’d had more people to fill all the beds! Definitely recommend for large groups- would love to see the place in the fall. Great WiFi for my husband who had to work some.

We had such a great stay at Eugene’s place! The house was perfect for our group — spacious, comfortable, and full of fun things to do. We especially loved the private theatre, the hot tub, and especially the sauna — such a great touch! The volleyball net was a hit, and there were tons of games in the closet that kept us entertained. The kitchen was well-stocked and roomy enough for us to cook meals for our large group, and there were plenty of different areas to hang out in, everyone could find their own space to relax. The towels were plentiful (huge plus) and having access to the washer and dryer came in handy during our stay. Eugene was a fantastic host — super friendly, very responsive, and just really helpful all around. We also got to enjoy a few deer sightings right in the yard, which felt magical. We visited the nearby alpaca farm and did the Beer Mountain hike, which was a nice outing. All in all, a wonderful stay. Would absolutely come back. Thank you Eugene!

This was perfect. Atop a field in the middle of nowhere we had what seemed like the world to ourselves. With amazing views all around and fields to walk thru and explore, this was just what we needed to unplug. We will be back.

My family and I had a wonderful time here even in the rain! It’s so cozy and beautiful. We had a blast sitting by the fire to make s’mores. The kids had lots of space to run and play too! The Mountain View was everything you could ever want. I never wanted to leave. Host was very responsive when I had a question. It was extremely quiet and beautiful. The towns nearby were also very charming.

A-frame Oasis was the perfect winter getaway for my family. We spent a long, snowy weekend at the cabin and were able to truly disconnect and spend quality time with one another. The cabin had everything we needed for a cozy family weekend – from shelves of games and piles of blankets to a fireplace. It was the quintessential winter weekend. You can tell that Oasis was crafted with love. Each space is perfectly curated with decor that gives the cabin its own special personality. My kids loved pointing out all the unique items in the house. We also really appreciated the book of suggestions and were able to visit Grizzly Bagels, Taylor + Ace, Roscoe Brewery, Catskill Brewery, Buck Brook Alpacas, The Northern Farmhouse, The Hound Books and Catskill Coffee Lodge. Clark and Garbriel were also incredibly kind and offered to have our pathway to the house snow plowed, which was really considerate. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The cabin was spacious, inviting and cozy. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful home. The views from the dining and living room are quite breathtaking, the house was well stocked and comfortable, and the surrounding towns are full of amazing eateries. The lake (a very short walk down the road) was great too!

We enjoyed the stay at the Farm Cabin! It was wonderful and the scenery was beautiful. We got an opportunity to see farm life and participate in the farm chores. Carrie and Cody were very welcoming and knowledgeable teaching us about the day to day on their farm. We also enjoyed the hay fort and tunnel that was built by their kids!

This place is absolutely beautiful, it was a nice weekend escape for our family. Jesse was responsive and helped us be able to plan a surprise for my wife. She loved it

Beautiful and peaceful place in the Catskills. Located on a private road that is easy to find, and easy to walk around with your pups. LeAnna is a great host. She is easy to communicate with, and provided great local recommendations. I recommend bringing some snacks and fruit as the closest grocery store is a little sparse.

The house was perfect for our few day getaway trip. Everything was as described, and Franco provided us with a great list of dining options. Easy to find, easy to access, and the location suited us perfectly.

This was our second time staying at Rashmi‘s property and it was just as great as we remembered. The kitchen is fully stocked so we were able to make dinner at home, the views were amazing and it was so nice to hang out by the fire pit at night. Our dogs loved the backyard and there was a great farm stand just down the road. Rashmi was super responsive and flexible. She is an awesome host and we hope to book another stay soon!

Filip and Linn have curated a beautiful and well stocked cabin in the middle of the woods. We barely had to leave the property our entire stay there. There’s tons of activities and amenities to make the trip the best it can be. We fit 6 super comfortably in the cabin even during the rainy days. Definitely worth it!!

The best review we can give is that this was our third time returning to this amazing house for a winter escape. The house is stunning and abounds with character. Relaxing by the fire, cooking in the well-equipped and cozy kitchen, dining by candlelight. It’s a gorgeous old home that has been beautifully maintained and has all the creature comforts you’ll desire. The area is beautiful in any season, with several quaint towns close by with local shopping and ample dining options. Scott is also a responsive and generous host, though I doubt you’ll need anything at all! Go enjoy this beautiful home!

My family traveled to the Catskills for a family wedding. La Grange was the perfect spot for us. It was close to the wedding venue but allowed us time to spend together as a family away from the wedding festivities. The restored barn is such a unique experience - eclectic with French and farmhouse accents. It was very spacious and comfortable. It’s a lovely property and we spent every evening out by the firepit enjoying the peace and quiet. Our 2 dogs loved the outdoors. We don’t have small children but for those who do, there’s a huge playscape and lots of boardgames. Matt was a great host, very responsive and gave great recos. Would highly recommend La Grange for the perfect getaway.

This was our 3rd time at Dryden Brook for our annual family gathering. We have been here in the Summer, Winter and fall and love it there in any season. The home makes you feel welcomed ….the grounds are so peaceful and we love coming here. We take hikes, make a fire, go skiing, play games, fish, explore the nature trails, make snow angels, bike…glaring at the starts etc. I highly recommend this home. House is clean, equipped and rooms are super cozy and welcoming. Davis is extremely friendly and very responsive to all your needs or questions! We look forward to our next stay in 2025!!!!

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. All the amenities and then some! Was a wonderful large kitchen and the beds were SO comfortable. The showers were a treat! Highly recommend!

The location was peaceful and quiet and the home was spacious and lovely. Everything was clean and as described, including a lovely small fireplace and a working sauna. There were stores within a 15 minute drive and we were close to the local ski slopes. Sara was incredibly helpful and responsive when we had questions, and the welcome manual was very thorough. It was a wonderful place to stay for a cozy snowy weekend!
