“David is the most gracious host and the treehouse is so lovely! It's peaceful and spa like. You feel as if your off the beaten path but your very close to stores and restaurants. There's a beautiful walking trail behind the treehouse and the upstairs deck is a wonderful place to sit with a coffee or glass of wine. We've stayed in the treehouse twice and plan to return.”

“Red Mule Ranch, a true beauty just outside of Saint Louis. Donna and her husband Lloyd take so much pride in their property and in taking care of their customers. You instantly feel at home here. The space and grounds were SPOTLESS and Donna was so polite and accommodating. No detail was missed. The bunkhouse has everything you could need, fresh towels, toiletries, hair dryer, phone chargers, card games, coffee maker, etc. When exploring the ranch you’ll find the chicken coup, beautiful lake stocked with cat fish, rolling hills where the deer graze, an ideal fire pit setup with all the supplies for fireside fun, of course, there are horses and a 40 YEAR OLD RED MULE. Upon arrival Donna gave us a quick lay of the land and took our breakfast orders for the morning. 9am we stepped out onto the porch and there it was all setup and ready on the table complete with fresh wildflowers. This place is an excellent choice for a getaway with just enough modern comforts. We loved it!”
