What an amazing place. The anti - boutique art cafe is something to experience. When so many places are being turned into “luxury living “ boxes it was delightful to stay in a 500 year old property with all its charm and quirks. Coming home at night to our own a bar was fun. The bed was extremely comfortable and the access to art materials was a real bonus to my artist husband. The kitchen has lots of equipment and the water in the shower has high water pressure and heater only takes a short time to produce VERY hot water. Once the inner door is closed the apartment is very peaceful. Communication with Spiros was excellent. It’s difficult to suggests any improvements. Maybe more pillows. We would appreciate a washing machine but understand this is extra cost. Be aware the cleaner next door sometimes spills water from the balcony into the garden. Just sit to the left. Oh I don’t forget to try the restaurant next door. Thank you Spiros for a lovely stay. A great way to end our 4 weeks.

Der Aufenthalt bei Anna war super! Die Wohnung war sauber und die Einrichtung gepflegt. Es ist sehr ruhig und man wird morgens sanft von den Düften des Brunch Restaurants geweckt - herrlich!

Excellent!!! Such a lovely host - you will feel welcomed and well taken care of. They had everything I needed ready for my toddler son to feel comfortable in a new space. The view was so lovely to enjoy mornings and evenings. The place was pristine and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here when I return to Chania.

Tolle Unterkunft in einem kleinen süßen Dorf in den Bergen. Wunderschöne Aussicht. Was unseren Aufenthalt besonders toll gemacht hat war die Gastfreundschaft durch die Gastgeberin Maria! Das Apartment ist vollständig ausgestattet und alles super sauber und toll. Danke Maria für diese tolle Zeit :)

Located right in the heart of old town Chania, can easily people watch and take in the sights and sounds of old town without having to leave your place. Perfect sunset views. Note: best place to reliably park for free overnight is “Chania town car park”, about a 10 min walk. May be easier in the off season; and harder in the peak. Overall the location can’t be beat.

Jenny is such a wonderful person and a fantastic host! The room was very clean, had a comfortable bed, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a few days in Chania. Not to mention it has a beautiful view! Please note you need to be able bodied to stay here as there are 3 flights of stairs up to the apartment - but this was not a problem for us. The apartment was about a 20-30 minute walk to Chania town, and it was a beautiful walk along the ocean. Jenny was so kind and helpful, responded so quickly to messages and gave us many local recommendations. Thank you Jenny!!! We had a wonderful time. :)

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Giannis was an excellent host. He welcomed us with a warm pastry, fresh fruits, wine and bottled water. The apartment had everything we needed. The location was perfect. We had a car and having our own parking space was fantastic. We traveled to different areas of the island and it was a convenient home base. Giannis gave us several recommendations from restaurants to beautiful beaches, and they were all great. We especially enjoyed the terrace. It has a beautiful view of the sea and it is very peaceful. We watched the sunrise a few mornings and it was breathtaking. A highlight of the stay was Hamlet, Giannis dog! He was there to welcome us and visited us daily. We would not hesitate to stay there again. It is a beautiful place and you won’t be disappointed.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Top Ausstattung, super sauber, eines der besten Airbnbs in dem wir waren. Der Blick vom Balkon ist traumhaft und sehr erholsam. Es ist sehr ruhig. Man kann wirklich abschalten. Massimo und seine Frau sind sehr gastfreundlich. Wir haben uns sehr Wohlgefühlt. Sollten wir nochmals nach Kreta kommen, dann kommen wir bestimmt wieder hier her. Genau die richtige Wohnung zum erholen und abschalten.

Bien situé pour se déplacer à l’Ouest et au Sud-Ouest, et à distance raisonnable de Chania en soirée. Une location en dehors de la ville préservant des nuisances sonores, des trop fortes chaleurs, et agréable au matin. Mobilier et literie propres de qualité. Michalis est très dévoué, proactif et de bon conseil. Une impression générale excellente !

A great ,spacious, quirky botique 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of the old city of Chania. Very clean with all the amenities, large comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The good wifi and a washing machine were crucial for us. Best of all is the location which is on a lovely, narrow pedestrian cobblestone street in the old town. Restaurants galore and a 5 minute walk to the gorgeous harbor area. Of the 3 Crete cities ,Chania Rithymno, and Herakliona, Chania was the most beautiful and well kept. The best of the 3 to use as a base(We did day trips to the other two towns.) Gannis was abroad, but his friend Christina was so nice, and helpful .She met us where we parked the car and led us through the old town to the apartment.

We had the best time staying at the apartment. We were two adults and a child and it was perfect for us. Everything was exactly as in the pictures and the apartment is even bigger than I expected. Especially the beautiful patio. The small kitchen is well stocked and we had everything we needed. One can hear the road, so just bring your earplugs if you think it may bother you. There are mosquitoes nets and shades/curtains on all the windows which allowed us to keep them open at nights and sleep longer in the mornings. Other than the apartment itself, Pinelopi is the best host I have ever met on Airbnb. She took care of everything we needed, even before we asked. We felt right at home with her and we're very sad when it was time to go. We will always be happy to come and stay here again!

Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt bei Michalis! Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ideal, mit wunderschönem Ausblick und einer ruhigen Umgebung. Michalis und sein Sohn haben uns herzlich empfangen, auch wenn wir etwas später ankamen, weil wir die für uns schönere Route durch die Stadt Rethymno genommen hatten. Zur Begrüßung wartete eine Karaffe Raki und gekühltes Wasser auf uns – eine sehr nette Geste von Michalis. Besonders genossen haben wir das Frühstücken auf dem Balkon, mit Blick aufs kretische Meer und umgeben von Hühnern, Enten, Katzen und dem freundlichen Hund Bruno. Unser Sohn war begeistert und hätte am liebsten alle Tiere mitgenommen! Das Haus selbst ist groß, gemütlich und perfekt ausgestattet und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Michalis’ Vater überraschte uns sogar mit frischen Eiern, eine wirklich liebevolle Aufmerksamkeit. Insgesamt ist diese Unterkunft ein Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Absolute bliss. This house is in the beautiful Topolia, a small town on the road to the popular Elafonissi Beach. The actual house is perfect—clean, save, good bathroom, kitchen and stunning view. The bakery and taverns in town are amazing. Much better food than near the beaches. Try the classic crete food and enjoy the wonderful view.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, mit einer wirklich tollen Austattung. Es ist genau so, wie beschrieben und auf den Bildern zu sehen. Es stand bereits eine sehr gute Auswahl an Lebensmitteln bereit, sowie viel frisches Obst und Wasser. Check-In /-Out per Schlüsselbox sehr unkompliziert und flexibel. Unser absolutes Highlight, die Dachterasse mit der fantastischen Aussicht. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer war einwandfrei. Vielen Dank an Fanis

Mai 2025, 10 Nächte Aufenthalt zu dritt (2 Erwachsene, 1 Kleinkind). Die Villa ist wirklich traumhaft. Wunderschöner Blick aufs Meer und die Bucht. Sie bietet sehr viel Platz auch für mehr Personen (2 Paare, 4-6 Freunde, 2 Familien) und für längere Aufenthalte (Stauraum, Schränke und Regale, etc.). Die Ausstattung entspricht der Beschreibung und bietet, auch in der Küche, alles was man brauchen kann. Unser Highlight war die überdachte Terrasse. Unser Flug wurde kurzfristig vorverlegt. Ein deutlich früherer Check-In war in unserem Fall überhaupt kein Problem. Stelios ist ein sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter und engagierter Gastgeber. Wir empfehlen Ihn und seine Villa ohne Einschränkung weiter. Kleine Einschränkung: die Unterkunft ist etwas ab vom Schuss bzw. die Region ist etwas zersiedelt (hauptsächlich wegen der Geographie des Geländes). Ohne eigenes Auto wird es etwas schwierig unserer Meinung nach. Einen kostenfreien Parkplatz direkt am Haus gibt es aber.

Se amate una vacanza fuori dai sentieri conosciuti, lontano dalla folla delle località turistiche... questo è il vostro posto. La casa si trova in un piccolo villaggio attaccato alla roccia con una vista mozzafiato sulla gola di Rokka. La terrazza che dividerete con altri ospiti, è perfetta per godersi la colazione o l'aperitivo. Da sapere che ci sono dei gatti che vengono alla ricerca di cibo... per eventuali allergici.. Marianna ci ha fatto trovare del cibo per la prima sera ed è sempre stata reattiva per risolvere qualsiasi quesito o problema. Rokka è il posto ideale per esplorare le spiagge del nord ovest dell'isola e Chania. Per le spiaggie a sud ovest ci vuole almeno un'ora di macchina. Portiamo via con noi dei ricordi bellissimi Grazie

Eleftheria, Gianni's wife, gave us a lovely warm welcome and gave us lots of useful information about the area on the first day. The flat overlooks the marina and so has a wonderful view. Perfect location, well equipped kitchen and would highly recommend. We had a great time in Agios Nikolaos.

Wunderschönes großzügiges Apartment mit tollem modernen Design und mit einem einzigartigen Meerblick vom Balkon (Meer nur ca. 20 Meter entfernt). Alles da, was man braucht. Der Vermieter ist extrem freundlich und immer erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Gegend gibt es viele gute Restaurants alle in Laufnähe. Der kostenlose Parkplatz am Meer war ebenfalls perfekt. Von dort benötigt man lediglich 5 Minuten zum Apartment. Die zwar schöne Bar in der Nähe der Schlafzimmer war immer gut besucht und dementsprechend war es dort schon laut bis in die Nacht. Es ist Geschmacksache, aber die Betten waren uns zu hart. Ansonsten absolut empfehlenswert! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und immer gemütlich auf dem Balkon gefrühstückt.

We had a lovely but short stay at Valia’s very spacious apartment for our family of 5. The wrap around balcony was a treat and the rooms stayed cold and dark to allow us to sleep off our jet lag. Nice and close to old town Chania and lots of spots nearby for coffee/wine and pastry!

I‘m more that happy that we decided to stay at Dimitri‘s place. He ish very kind and helped us right away, if we had any questions. The location is peaceful and has a great view. The beach is not far away and the size of the apartment is just perfekt for a single person or a couple. I will definitely visit again.

We had amazing few days staying here. The apartment is beautiful and clean, in a great location, out of the way enough from the busy centre but just a short few minute walk to Chania town centre and the beach. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

From the start, Sia and her husband were very warm and welcoming. At check-in, they walked us through the apartment, which looked exactly like the photos. The view is fantastic from the front balcony. Everything was very clean. Loved that there were electronic blinds for most windows. We rented a car and there was a parking spot available for us in Sia's garage. We did find the bed a bit too hard for our tastes (to each their own!), and we sometimes had trouble with the wifi dropping in the main bedroom. Overall, we loved Sia's place and would stay there again!

We had a lovely stay at Sofia and her father Georgios' apartment - we particularly enjoyed the 2 balconies and the great location for the city centre. Good view over similar height buildings all around on three sides (5 floors with small lift). There was a delay replying to messages 2wks before (important as wanted to confirm they knew we were due to arrive late) but once that was sorted Georgios was lovely, meeting and chatting to us even though we arrived at midnight and providing a baby pram and cot. The apartment was as described and well looked after, though some doors were hard to shut, both bedroom black-out blinds bit stuck (so light) and some fittings from the 70s. It would have been good to have some bottled water on arrival (as we didn't want to drink tap water) but lots of condiments, shower gel, washing machine etc provided. A few mosquitos, initially none, after we watered the plants (in Oct) but good aircon in 3 rooms. It was good value and I would book again.
