Eva and her husband are the loveliest people, you are greeted with open arms by Eva and have a good chat. The accommodation is 5 star with everything you need. Eva and her husband where very helpful in many cases such as the walk to Lidl was great but the shopping we done was too much for us to walk back so Eva’s husband offered to pick us up! Our overall stay was amazing both too far from shops and rentals. This place is perfect for a quiet place to head off to and for the beautiful scenery. If you want to get around and visit places there is public transport but I would recommend renting a car or an ATV as this is what we did for our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone for one of the most beautiful get aways! Thank you Eva and your husband for everything and Gloria and I hope to see you again!

Excellent séjour chez Sophia qui nous a chaleureusement accueillis. Le studio est parfaitement propre et fonctionnel avec une vue époustouflante sur la mer depuis l'agréable terrasse. La plage est à 5min à pied et La Canée très facilement accessible en bus.

We had a great time staying at Evangelo’s place. It’s quiet at night but right next to all the great restaurants and a short walk to the beach. Comfortable rooms and great showers! Great communication and a friendly staff! We’ll be back! Thank you for hosting us!

Schon im Vorfeld haben Emmanuel und Yannis uns mit tollen Informationen für die Gegend versorgt. Ganz unaufdringlich und super gut organisiert. Es war immer jemand erreichbar und hatte tolle Vorschläge für unsere individuellen Urlaubswünsche (Tauchkurse, Strände, Restaurants, Mietwagen, Taxi vom Flughafen). Wir kamen an und die Wohnung entsprach vollkommen den Beschreibungen, alles war da, tolle Terrasse mit Meerblick, sauberes und schönes Bad, eine funktionierende Klimaanlage, Reinigung klappte prima, alles was man im Sommerurlaub braucht. Die gesamte Anlage wurde gerade erst renoviert. Alle Häuser frisch gestrichen, ein neuer Pool, neue Liegen/Schirme, super! Eine eher ruhige Location, aber die Kombination von Ruhe, einer netten Taverne, Pool und Strand in weniger als 100 Metern Radius bei permanentem tollem Meerblick ist wunderbar. Ein Mietwagen zur Erkundung des Westteils der Insel (tolle Strände, Chania-Stadt) ist sehr sinnvoll. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen!

Wow, what can I say. We booked last minute because of hotel cancellations and so glad we did! Evita and Andreas were warm and welcoming and helpful- booked a taxi for us from the airport, left wine and beer in the fridge for when we arrived, gave us tasty pastries a few times. We stayed for a week and were very sad to leave! Thanks for a great stay ☺️

Staying here has set my expectations of Cretan hospitality in my mind hereafter. I spent nearly two weeks here and I couldn't have asked for a better time in Crete. By the time we left, we had local businesspeople shouting our names down the street to say hello, there was always something to do in town or a new restaurant to try. Very close to beautiful upper Platanias, as well as the more touristy main strip and the beach. Very nice jumping off point to the western beaches like Falasarna or Elafonisos, Manousakis winery, Chania, and even did a long day to Knossos and back. Filled the time in between in the pool, which was very well kept, and never felt like we were crowding the place. We were allowed an early check-in after arriving on an early flight to Chania, and never struggled to find parking right next to the complex. I can not recommend this place highly enough and cannot put into words how hard it was to leave.

השהות במלון הקטן והביתי של מלינה ואנטוניוס היתה נעימה מאד. אזור שקט וקרוב לים. החדר היה מצוייד באופן מלא בכל הדברים שצריך . היה נקי ונראה בדיוק כפי שתואר בתמונות:) אנטוניוס היה זמין תמיד לכל שאלה. זוג נחמד מאד ומסביר פנים. בהחלט ממליצה!

Ce fut notre première fois en Crète, nous avons été ravis de l’accueil et de l’endroit. L’hôtel est à proximité de tout, nous avons fait la majorité à pied, la gare est à 15 minutes à pied, la première plage également et le centre ville a 5 minutes à pied. L’hébergement est super joli, avec le nécessaire, et le ménage est réalisé tous les jours. Une mention spéciale à Katerina, qui a été formidable tout au long sur séjour. Elle nous a proposé des activités et les meilleurs endroits à visiter, était disponible jour et nuit si nous avions un souci. Une personne avec le cœur sur la main, un grand merci à elle !

It is pretty nice place with everything you need to stay, host is really great - got room ready 4 hours before they should, gave us better room as it was available.

Vielen Dank für Alles! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genießen können. Der Strand und ein paar Restaurant sowie ein kleiner Supermarkt waren fußläufig schnell erreichbar. Die Unterkunft ist großartig eingerichtet, insbesondere auf dem Balkon haben wir super gerne Zeit verbracht. Alles sehr geräumig mit wirklich guter Ausstattung - auch in der Küche! Gerne wieder ☺️

Un séjour absolument fantastique. La suite qui est un vrai appartement était encore mieux que sur les photos. La gentillesse du personnel est à la hauteur de l’hôtel. Spéciale dédicace pour Maria qui est adorable et prévenante. Propreté, confort, petit déjeuner exceptionnel. Merci aux femmes de ménage qui font un travail remarquable, l’établissement est absolument nickel et idéalement situé dans Plakias. Merci encore et j’espère à bientôt

I had a wonderful stay at La Canea. The space was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the island, and the quiet surroundings made it a peaceful retreat after a day of adventures. Theodosia was incredibly kind, and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Crete!

Richtig tolle Unterkunft mit Jacuzzi und Meerblick. Tolle Lage. Sehr zentral und hochwertig eingerichtet

A most beautiful apartment and location. Everything was new, clean and comfortable. The views from the apartment and outdoor deck were beautiful, especially the sunsets. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. We were late arriving and I am sure it was inconvenient for them, but they waited, greeted us with no complaints and were wonderful. The location is just next to the old town so, it is quiet, with a beautiful waterfront view, but easy walk to town. We had a car and it was very easy to park for free right out front.

This is an amazing place. The accommodations exceptional and exactly as promised. Highly recommend this gem.

Perfect accommodation in an extremely central location in the old town of Chania. Everything is within 10 minutes walking distance. Great spacious private balcony with views over the city. Super clean and comfortable, felt luxurious. Loved our stay, wish we had longer.

Nice room with everything you need. The bed was very hard, I made it softer with the 2 duvet that are in re cupboard next to the bed. Close to the busstop (really cheap) and the "strip"😉 you are just about in-between. Loved my stay

The place was exactly what we needed for our stay. The room was spotless, with all the amenities we could ask for. As my daughter said, everything “comes handy” — from putting water in the fridge to finding utensils and a bowl for some fresh watermelon. The kitchen and bathroom were both very clean, and the balcony had a lovely view along with a hanger for drying swim gear, which was super convenient. Right around the middle of our stay, they came in to clean and changed the sheets and towels, which was great and very much appreciated. We originally planned to move to another place after five days to explore more of the island, but the apartment was so good that we decided to stay and just wake up earlier to travel instead. Extending our stay was easy and seamless — no issues at all.

Πολύ εύκολη άφιξη, καθαρότατα δωμάτια. Μια από τις καλύτερες θέες στην ταράτσα. Εξαιρετικό μέρος να μείνει κανείς στα χανια.

Tres belle chambre, patio magnifique où l'on peut profiter matin ou soir. La décoration est parfaite et fidèle a la description Theofilos est sympathique et nous a bien conseillé Le plus, c'est a 50m de la plage et 10-15 minutes du Old Town Le bémol, peu de lumière et d'ouverture dans la chambre du fond, mais pour 1 ou 2 nuits c'est très bien ! En résumé nous avons passé un super séjour, je recommande merci Theofilos
