Waterfront holiday rentals in De Ronde Venen

Very nice apartment in a very peaceful area. Two bedrooms with big twin beds and private parking spot. Carmen, who handled the practicalities was very polite and quick to answer our questions. The apartment is far from public transport and grocery stores etc. so you need your own car.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in traumhafter Umgebung. Unser Sohn war fasziniert vom Hühnerstall und dem Hängebauchschwein, das uns beim Frühstück draussen besuchen kam. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und hat uns Hinweise zur Unterkunft und dem Ablauf gegeben. Unser Highlight war die Aussicht aus dem Schlafzimmer aufs Feld und der außenliegende Whirlpool. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, stylisch und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es war alles da. Die Lage ist top, sehr nah dran an Amsterdam und an Utrecht. Es sind viele Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und empfehlen die Unterkunft gern weiter. Beste Grüße

We really loved the neighbourhood & Alida's beautiful place. It's very peaceful, family-safe and really beautiful area surrounded by the nature. We walked a lot near her place with our dog and enjoyed the view so much. Everyone seemed nice and friendly. Even it's a bit far from Amsterdam center, we could luckily find the uber/taxi. (30euro uber/80euro taxi to the town) We would love to come back with a car next time :) Her place looked very organized and clean (just the balcony was a bit dusted maybe because of the rain or rainy weather lately) and was so spacious to stay for 3 people. We would never find this type of place at this price in the town.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement à Vinkeveen. L’appartement est encore plus spacieux et lumineux que ce que les photos laissaient paraître. La décoration est soignée, le canapé et la literie très confortables. Le logement est très bien équipé : cuisine fonctionnelle, salle de bain agréable avec baignoire, machine à laver, sèche-linge, linge de maison fourni, etc. Tout est pensé pour un séjour confortable, que ce soit pour quelques jours ou plus longtemps. Le vrai plus, c’est la terrasse privée donnant directement sur l’eau. Un endroit magnifique pour prendre le café le matin ou un verre le soir au coucher du soleil. Le quartier est calme, parfait pour se détendre, et Amsterdam est facilement accessible en 15 minutes en voiture, ce qui permet de profiter de la ville tout en séjournant dans un cadre plus tranquille. Frederique est une hôte réactive et accueillante. Je recommande vivement ce logement et je n’hésiterai pas à revenir.

Bij aankomst was het onduidelijk waar we moesten parkeren, domein was afgesloten voor bewoners met een kaart. Toevallige voorbijganger kon ons helpen. (parkeren langs de straat en zeker betalen voor parkeerticket 3,5€ /24h.) Het appartement was zeer mooi en ruim, groot terras met prachtig uitzicht, grote slaapkamers, propere badkamer en keuken. Het was tijdens ons verblijf ook heel rustig. Gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanaf de dorpscentrum en vanuit Utrecht. We hadden een zeer aangenaam verblijf. We hebben ook lekker gegeten in 'het boothuys', restaurant op 200m van het app.

I stayed for 2 nights with my daughter. The place was close enough to Amsterdam but still in the countryside, which we enjoyed. It was peaceful place in a great location. We drove in the morning to the Metro station (There was plenty of free parking), and in 1/2 hour we were downtown Amsterdam. Happy with my choice. The place was spacious for 2, well equipped, warm, and welcoming.

We absolutely loved our stay at Gein Lust B&B! Just a few minute's ride from the city, the location is absolutely idyllic and beautiful, very peaceful and serene. The accommodations were also first class, perfect for our needs. The space is comfortable and spacious, and nicely appointed. Bianka was a great hostess, very friendly and excellent communication! I highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay! After a long day of traveling, we greatly appreciated the quiet and beautiful surroundings, especially the extremely comfortable beds! The only issue we encountered was that the previous guests had left the downstairs windows open, resulting in a lot of flies inside the house. Esther's team tried to remove as many flies as possible before our arrival, and they provided us with an electric fly swatter to handle the remaining ones. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Amsterdam or the Abcoude area!

We had a great week at the chalet and really recommend staying there! The environment is very quiet and peaceful with lots of nature. Still you can easily reach cities like Amsterdam quickly. Maurice and Ashley are very kind and caring hostess, they always replied immediately to our messages.

Anna et Ruud sont des hôtes très attentifs et bienveillants. Ils sont accueillants et veillent au bien être de leurs locataires. La maison est superbe, décorée avec goût. La vue sur la rivière est splendide. Admirer les couchers de soleils depuis la maison ou la petite terrasse au bord de l'eau en prenant l'apéritif est exceptionnel. La literie est très confortable, il y a des moustiquaires dans les chambres, permettant d'ouvrir sans difficulté les fenêtres la nuit. La cuisine et la buanderie sont très bien équipées. L'endroit est très calme au milieu de la nature et des animaux. Vous n'êtes pas loin des parkings P+R d'Amsterdam, ainsi que de plusieurs autres jolies villes alentours. Anna vous indique plein d'informations dans un classeur. Les supermarchés sont à moins de 10 minutes en voiture, on roule doucement et on profite ;-) L'accès à la maison avec une boîte à clés est très pratique. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour chez Anna et Ruud et les remercions pour leur accueil.

The house was very well equipped for a family gathering. The kitchen was great for preparing family meals. We were 8 for part of our stay and the large dining room and lounge were ideal for our group. You do need a car or bike to get into Abcoude. Frustratingly parking in Abcoude is not good with 2 hour time limit so bit of a hassle to go to Amsterdam by train as required parking quite a distance from the station and walking but we figured a way that worked for us. The little restaurant next door is busy particularly at weekends but is handy for a bite to eat or a drink. The house has a lovely countryside setting which suited us but does come with drawbacks for example the WiFi isn’t great and the abundant bird life can be ‘messy’ but that’s nature😊 Would definitely stay again.

Le logement correspond parfaitement à la description. Il est à la fois assez loin d'Amsterdam pour être au calme mais pas trop loin pour pouvoir si rendre facilement (environ 10 min de voiture + 10-15 min de métro).

We had a great time. The house and the facilities are great, everything you need for a relaxing stay is there. Everything was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the house was very cold when we arrived, the underfloor heating takes a while to warm up. If you arrive in the evening or in the dark, the access to the first jetty is a bit difficult to find, maybe a sign would help. But we can only recommend the house and will certainly come back again.

Das Haus liegt idyllisch auf einem Inselstreifen und ist mit dem Boot zu erreichen. Bas hat uns unkompliziert und entspannt in Alles eingeführt und wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in dem Haus

Everything was great! Beautiful place

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Umgebung. Es ist für Naturliebhaber leicht zu erreichen und dennoch nur 25 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum Amsterdams entfernt. Wir vermissten lediglich eine größere Spüle zum Abwaschen des Frühstücksgeschirrs. Insgesamt war es aber eine sehr sympathische Erfahrung.

We had a great stay! Hugo was easy to contact, gave us many local recommendations, and easy to follow directions. The place was clean, had a great view, and is on a quiet street. Location was great, very walkable to all of the main tourist attractions. We were worried about not having a tv but didn’t miss it. Just a heads up to people in the U.S.-bring wash cloths to Europe. All 3 of the Airbnb’s that we stayed at did not provide them. I read that they consider it a personal item, like a toothbrush, and expect you to bring your own. Thank you Hugo!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We enjoyed staying at Fleur’s apartment. It is very close to a tram stop which made it easy to get around, and it was well situated between the main areas of the city, making it a good base to explore from. The apartment was nice - it had everything we needed for a couple days in the city. The only thing to note is that the stairs within the apartment (from living area to bedroom) are narrow and steep, but this seems quite typical of stairs in this area- the same was true of stairs in restaurants in the area. Overall we had a great stay and I would stay there again!

Our stay with MorningStar in Amsterdam was absolutely exceptional. The home was pristine, beautifully designed, and full of luxurious touches that made our three-night stay unforgettable. We arrived to find thoughtful treats like fresh fruit and chocolate waiting for us—such a warm welcome! The location was perfect: central, quiet, and incredibly walkable, which made it easy for our family of four to explore the city. Every detail exceeded our expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend!

John has been a brilliant host throughout our stay. He provided very helpful and clear information on getting to and into the property and advice on local restaurants. The property is ideal for a stay in Amsterdam and just as described on Airbnb. The area is upmarket, residential but still buzzy. The views of the river are outstanding. I highly recommend it.
