Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Davie County

Sallie has a wonderful house with direct access to the lake. My son was able to bring his boat and dock it at the included private dock. This was a perfect place to meet up with family and have a great time with our grandkids. We were able to go fishing, swimming (well the kids were in the water), and go to the Zoo (just over an hour away). The extra little cabin was perfect for my wife and I while our son’s family enjoyed the main house. The kids especially loved the loft area. We used the grill (provided) to cook up some hamburgers and even made some homemade ice cream with room enough in the freezer to store the leftovers in the tall dasher/container. Much to my chagrin, I realized after we had left that I had left my credit card behind (lost), but Sallie found it and communicated promptly. Thanks for everything! We all felt safe and well provided for to be able to make a very memorable pleasant visit with our family.

We absolutely loved this three bedroom two bath house. The patio and barbecue were highlights of our stay, perfect for relaxing and enjoying meals outdoors. The house itself was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout. Great place to stay, highly recommend. Paula and Jhon were fantastic, really easy to communicate with, and that made all the difference in our stay. They were responsive and helpful whenever we needed something.

We loved this Airbnb and will definitely stay here again when we are in the area. It was clean, tastefully decorated and the beds were comfortable. Preston was very responsive. The landscaping was beautiful. Gardenia bushes were in full bloom. Just a great place for a getaway!

We needed a place to stay for 9 nights while we were waiting to close on our new home. We were relocating from Columbia, MO to the Greensboro, NC area with two pets. We had closed on our home in Columbia 2 weeks prior to arriving at Duke’s Place. We had been staying with friends. It felt so good to arrive at Duke’s Place and have it all to ourselves! We were SO pleased when we got there. It is an adorable, quaint little home on an isolated property with a pasture. The home was beautifully decorated and very up to date. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen. I loved the beautiful soaker tub in the bathroom. There is a fenced back yard with a nice tall, wood paneled privacy fence that was perfect for our pets. Taylor is a wonderful host and was incredibly kind and responsive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

My friend and I loved our stay at Chris’s place. It was quiet, peaceful, and just what we needed to relax. The location is a very safe neighborhood, where we felt even comfortable getting out and taking a walk. Chris was super responsive to all of our inquiries. Best of all, this place is pet friendly! We hope to return soon.

We absolutely loved this condo! Very homey & comfortable. One room also had a twin bed in addition to the queen bed. The patio overlooked the pool and marina/harbor and a restaurant, which was less than a 5 minute walk. It was a beautiful area to walk the dog. Yes, you can see & hear I-77 from the patio & pool but could not hear it from inside the condo. Downtown Davidson & Harris Teeter (grocery store) was less than 5 minutes away. We would absolutely stay here again! Such a beautiful area!

We enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful and private location. The home was well kept, clean and clutter free. The host were very welcoming upon arrival as well as departure.

We had the best time! Amazing house and host. The heated pool and fenced in backyard were perfect for enjoying family time. The entire house was very clean and organized with everything we needed. The host was extremely proactive with communications and responsive for the few things we needed. Highly recommended!

Linda was a phenomenal host! She was very helpful and responsive. The house made my girlfriends and I feel right at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the grill and enclosed patio. The house was stocked with everything we needed from coffee to seasoning for the steaks we purchased. The neighbors to the left and right were very nice. All the rooms were spacious and clean. While we didn’t make it to the lake, we definitely plan to come back and that will be our first stop. Thank you so much Linda for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

I stayed at Kumi’s place for one night on my way back from a seminar with my working cadaver dog. After a week of working, it was just the relaxing space we needed! I wish we’d had time to stop for more than just a night, I will absolutely be visiting again when it’s warm enough for the pool to be open. The hot tub was delightful for my sore muscles and the shower was super nice. The plants were such a nice surprise and made me feel at home. Kumi was an excellent host and K9 Duke gives her place 4 paws up

Our stay was the perfect space for us to rest and relax while we were visiting our family. Despite being June the weather was a little too chilly to enjoy swimming. My favorite morning and evening spot was in the porch swing by the pool. There are friendly hosts and then there are Jill and her family. They were so gracious and made sure we had everything we needed. Quick to answer any questions but ensured we had our privacy too. We have never enjoyed our hosts as much as the brief time we spent chatting with Jill and her husband. There are lots of books, board games, and little amenities like a towel warmer in the bathroom. We had coffee for our mornings and bottled water already in the refrigerator when we arrived- nice after a long drive. We were gone most of the day but arriving at night and having the pool area lit up was so inviting. When we find our way back to the area we hope to find her property available so we can stay again.

It was a lovely place, clean and quiet. I did not like that we didn’t have full access to everything and the front desk seemed not to know we were renting. Other than that I would highly recommend it. Place is clean, looks like pictures and close to a lot of stuff.

Absolutely loved the rustic yet extremely comfortable feeling of the room. The West End Café as recommended was phenomenal. Without Dave letting me know that Google maps takes you somewhere wrong I would’ve been lost. However, he was proactive and told me that and I ended up right at the door very easily. Beautiful area quiet felt at home. He actually came and checked on me this morning after I texted and told him I was leaving he came out of the house just to make sure everything was OK. If I have the opportunity to be back there and spend the night again, I will definitely stay at Dave’s place if it’s available. Not sure if it was on purpose or if someone else had left it, but there was even Bud Light in the fridge if I had wanted! Thank you for your hospitality!

Home & property were stunning ! Beautifully decorated! Exceeded expectations! Loved the goats, duck & pups! Host was very responsive & helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay again.

This cabin is a little wonder in the middle of NC forest! We loved our overnight get away. Everything was clean and just as described and pictured! Thomas had a prebuilt fire ready to go which was extremely appreciated after a long car ride. Our kiddos thought the space was super cool and enjoyed exploring around the property. Highly recommend this space to anyone looking for peace, tranquility, and a little bit of luxury out in the wilderness. :)

Jim is one of the most wonderful hosts we have ever had. He was friendly and responsive and made sure that we had everything we could have possibly needed. His place was exactly as described, but the surroundings and peacefulness were even more than we expected. We enjoyed the pool and the bed is super comfortable! We will definitely plan to stay with Jim again when we are in the area.

I stayed one night at Peggy’s place during a business trip to Salisbury and had a great experience. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and very quiet — I got a great night’s sleep thanks to the dark, peaceful bedroom. Peggy and Brandon were on the property when I arrived and were super friendly. I was also able to bring my dog, and Peggy was kind enough to allow a late checkout for a small fee so I could leave her in the apartment during my meeting. I’d definitely consider staying here again if I’m in the area.

Solid accommodations, clean and friendly, beautiful countryside cabin.

We stayed at Greg and Tammy’s place while in town for our daughter’s graduation from Wake Forest. It was the perfect place to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the graduation activities. We fished in the pond, swam in the pool, walked through the garden, and visited the animals in the barn. Greg brought us fresh eggs and fresh broccoli, both of which were delicious. Honestly one of the best AirBNB experiences we have ever had. I give it five stars because it won’t allow me to give it 6. If we are back in town, we will definitely revisit.

Amanda’s tiny home was perfect for our stay. The location was convenient to our NASCAR event over the weekend. We absolutely loved the peaceful privacy of the amazing property while we were not at the racetrack. The beautiful town of Lewisville is very close with everything you may need. The people of the town were so nice to us as we visited several restaurants and shops. The home was perfect for us, it was clean and just what we needed for a relaxing getaway! Thank you Amanda!
