Waterfront holiday rentals in Daventry District

We had a lovely long weekend away in Stamford, staying in Lily Pad. It was perfect; everything from the location of the property, the view, everything that the flat is. We’re already planning our return trip!

Great Host, just what we were needing for the weekend and lovely scenery. The place was clean, modern and included everything we needed for our stay. Even got to see some newborn Swans from the balcony (Canada Geese were a little noisy due to the season)

Had a great stay at this top floor apartment. Great views onto the canal basin and ducks, geese and swans. Easy communication links as close to A421 east west road through Milton Keynes. Great food at Ye Olde Swan. A visit to Bletchley Park, which is very near by car, is highly recommended. Easy to find and park. Great communication from Scot. AC unit very useful.

We booked our stay because we were attending a wedding in the village. The house was clean tidy and well equipped. It's in a lovely village with a friendly pub a minutes walk away.

Fantastic Riverside location with seconds walk to the heart of Stamford. Sarah and team were very attentive to our needs and made the trip a breeze. Heartily recommend this venue to anyone wanting a simple and pleasant vacation.

What can I say… quite honestly the most beautiful home we’ve stayed in (and we’ve stayed in many). The house was absolutely stunning with amazing views. The host was very attentive and gave plenty of recommendations. We stayed for New Year’s Eve and saw in 2025 with our family. Our 3 girls loved exploring the garden, toys and a particular shout out for the games room. Had a pleasant surprise when we arrived to see the most gorgeous decking, accompanied by a hot tub and swim spa, a huge hit with the girls. Would definitely recommend. Thank you and happy new year!

Fantastic location, a very short walk to a lovely little boat trip and an iconic church on Rutland Water cannit fault the view. I feel we paid for the view/location and not the property as I feel it is a little tired. The property was well equipped, but only sleeps 6 when it said 8, not a big problem as we were only 4. The matresses I felt could have been upgraded and there were alot of dead insects scattered about the property, probably due to windows having been open. I think the property is a bit pricey for what you get but we had a fantastic few days.

An absolutely stunning house and location. Exactly as in the description if not better. We stayed for a week so with the discount it was well worth the money. A special family week on the river. Plenty of space and great amenities.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Manor croft. Whether you're looking for a quiet gateway or just a peaceful night in the countryside, this place is perfect and highly recommended. Hello Everyone, I booked this place for few days during my time in Milton Keynes. The location and surroundings are Good. Convinent Kitchen. I enjoyed my Shower 🚿. Lots to do nearby 😃 You can Hire a Canal Boat for a Day nearby. TV is Good. Overall I enjoyed my stay and If Something is missing like bath mat near the shower room or If you need Room Fresheners there is a Door under the stairs, I used extra towel near the shower room. If you need anything Text Scot in some time He Get back to us. Thank you.
