Konumu, olanakları , doğa manzarası ve yürüyüş yerleri müthişti. Ali abi bize daha önce deneyimlemediğiz şekilde profesyonel ve aynı zamanda kendimizi ailenin bir parçası gibi hissedebileceğimiz şekilde misafir etti. Eşimle beraber çok mutlu, huzurlu ve sakin bir konaklama geçirdik. Değirmenbükü ve etrafındaki diğer koyları görmek/yüzmek , antik kent kalıntılarını gezmek , vadideki taşevlerinde konaklamayı deneyimlemek , çiftlik hayatı hakkında bilgi edinmek ve Ali abi ve ailesiyle sohbet etmek/tanımak isterseniz kesinlikle tavsiye ederim. Bu arada bölge kalabalık değil ve koylara gelen insan sayısı az.Bu bizim içinde artı bir güzellik oldu.Son olarak akşam yemeklerini de kesinlikle burada yemenizi tavsiye ederim, yemekler çok lezzetli ve doyurucuydu 🍀 Herşey için teşekkür ederiz. Definitely on the list of my favourite stays ever! Triantafyllos's charming little house stay is exactly what everyone needs to experience! To get lost in time and live a Greek fairytale. And for the host, I never ever ever had a better one!

Accueil dès la sortie du bateau par la maman d’Andréas qui est très appréciable. Emplacement idéal, très central et à 2 mn du port. Légèrement en retrait ce qui l’isole du bruit éventuel de l’animation portuaire ( boutiques et restaurants ). Le logement est très fonctionnel et bien équipé avec des petites attentions à l’arrivée qui dépannent bien. Les 2 balcons permettent une exposition ou non au soleil en fonction des envies. Le plus est la terrasse sur le toit qui permet des moments géniaux le matin de bonne heure ou en fin d’après-midi et soirée pour ceux qui veulent être à l’abri du soleil et de la chaleur. La vue au-dessus des toits permet de profiter des couleurs des maisons, d’une petite vue mer et des bateaux à quai ... un must ! N’hésitez pas à faire une journée en bateau avec l’embarcation « Maria » .... petite bateau typique donc pas trop de personnes et plus d’espace . Un repas copieux et de qualité et ne beaux arrêts pour les baignade et le BBC ( circuit Route 1 ).

Dawn's home is an unusual find in Symi, in that it's spacious with generous outdoor space, and its own splash pool - not many places in Symi will give you that. On top it's got a lovely view down the Pedi valley and has an almost out of town feel as it's on the outskirts of Choria. It's decorated in a charming personal way, and has all the facilities you'd want. Numerous outdoor seating and lounging areas, well equipped kitchen, and air con and fans in the bedrooms. It's about a 15-20 min walk down from Dawn's place to Symi port where a lot of the action happens - restaurants, bars, water taxis, shopping - it's an amazing passage called the Kali Strata which saves a lot of hassle driving in, but it's a lot of stairs - especially coming back, although they are well spaced. View it as good exercise around all the wonderful eating and you get into it. Last point is that Dawn stays in a cottage under the house so it's not completely private, but she is super friendly and helpful.

Wir haben uns im Eliah-House unfassbar wohl gefühlt - für uns und unseren Urlaub war es die perfekte Unterkunft!! Es ist ein ruhiger, wunderschöner und authentischer Ort, von wo aus wir gut Ausflüge unternehmen konnten, um Insel und Leute kennenzulernen, verschiedene Strände besucht haben aber auch die Möglichkeit hatten, abseits vom Touristentrubel eine schöne Zeit für uns zu haben, Kochen, Essen, Lesen...um die schönen Ausblicke und herrlichen Sonnenuntergänge zu genießen. (Hierfür sollte man unbedingt Zeit einplanen und nicht immer unterwegs sein.) Die Einrichtung, das Haus und die Umgebung waren wie beschrieben und in bester Ordnung und Sauberkeit. John war immer zuverlässig zu erreichen, hat uns geholfen und gute Tips gegeben. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt, gut versorgt (DANKE für alles!!) und haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt.

Hasan Bey ve Nuran Hanım tanıdığımıza çok memnun olduğumuz dünya tatlısı iki insan. Kaldığımız ev tertemiz ve çok rahattı. Manzarası muazzamdı. İhtiyacımız olan her şey vardı, çok keyifli bir tatil geçirdik. Hasan Bey ve Nuran Hanım’ın hoş sohbeti ve güleryüzlülüğü kalışımızı daha da keyifli hale getirdi. Her şey için çok teşekkür ediyoruz.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le logement est très propre et sent la nouveauté ! Le logement est à 15 min à pieds de la plage ce qui est un plus !

Wir können uns nur den anderen Urlaubern anschließen: ein idyllisches Appartement in einer traumhaften Lage. Wir haben die 3 Tage sehr genossen und hatten entspannte Tage auf Nisyros. Die Ausflugs- und Restauranttipps waren prima. Wir haben die Insel zu Fuß und mit dem Roller erkundet und haben nur positive Erfahrungen gesammelt.

Der Empfang von Antonis war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber mit einer Sitzgelegenheit vor dem Zimmer. Der Blick war direkt auf die Mitte des Dorfplatzes. Es machte Spaß, das Treiben der Dorfbewohner zu beobachten. Antonis betreibt das Restaurant Drosos und die ganze Familie scheint mit eingebunden. Die Zimmer befinden sich direkt darüber. Das Essen ist dort super gut und empfehlenswert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank nochmal für die Gastfreundschaft.

The studio is nice and cosy sourrounded by other beautiful little houses that share a yard. Michalis is a great host and he running the tavern next door (which you cannot hear) serving excelllent food. Marmari beach and a supermarket are in walking distance and Tigaki beach about 15 minutes away by car. The interior of the house is nice and modern with a second apartment on top for other guests. However, if you want to cook there is only one plate on the stove and if you have children, there was no plastic tub available, so you have to manage somehow using the shower. But apart from these minor inconveniences, the place is worth a trip! You can have a coffee in the morning while the sun comes up over the mountaintip.

"Captain Pavlos apartments" are small and cozy vacation rooms made by family. It is a quiet place with a distance of about 250 steps to the wild sandy beach. Pavlos was very friendly and helpful. We always felt welcome. It is possible to rent bicycles, scooters and cars to low prices in the house. The distance to the center of Kos Town is about 4 kilometers. The day we arrived we were surprised with barbecue and Greek live music. That was an a special high light for us. You can have breakfast in the restaurant or make it yourself in your room. You can have lunch and diner. You can have a good daily menu for a cheap price ore some other dishes. The rooms are big enough and very clean. Every window is ensured against mosquitos. The sleeping room is equipped with air condition. Many lovely details make the environment pretty fine and cozy. Thank you Pavlos. We like to come again.

Very helpful host, we also hired a car with the team and they gave great tips for the island. Lovely traditional space which was cool in the summer due to the stone walls. Nice friendly café/bar downstairs for breakfast. Gorgeous location on the waterfront, close to nice restaurants.

All perfect! Apartment nice, clean, perfectly equipped and in good position. Comunication easy and quick. It was our second time in Daphne's apartment and we were very well.

The hosts were very welcoming and kind! The service was great, great bathroom and little garden and good location (10 mins from the village). Loved it!

The Anchor House is such a perfect property that I almost want to keep quiet in order to keep it all to myself! Our stay was perfect from beginning to end, from the taxi transfers arranged to transport us from the harbour to the property, to our daily breakfasts under the light of the olive tree and dinner on the terrace with the most astonishing sea view. Without a doubt, the housekeeper Jenine is the reason this stay was so perfect - she organised every detail and helped us plan every day. She was a pleasure to chat to every morning and made us feel so welcome. This place simply felt like home - if only we could have stayed for longer. I cannot recommend this property enough - for Symi there simply is no comparison.

Nikolas ist der perfekte Gastgeber: immer freundlich und gut gelaunt, voller brauchbarer Tipps und Ratschläge, gerne über Gott und die Welt diskutierend. Sein kleines Hotel ist superzentral gelegen, wirkt authentisch und ein bisschen wie aus der Zeit gefallen. (Die WLAN-Verbindung war allerdings sehr schnell und zuverlässig.) Die Räume sind blitzsauber und mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet. Das üppige Frühstück wird liebevoll serviert. Wenn ich -hoffentlich! - wieder nach Symi komme, möchte ich unbedingt wieder dort wohnen!

The Anchor House was an absolutely beautiful home.A gem in Symi. It was a most relaxing stay ,the bedroom so tasteful and the bed so comfortable.The living space so well appointed with different areas to relax in,in either shade or sun all with stunning views. The location is superb,near fabulous restaurants and a minute away from a little beach.Jeanie our host was simply amazing.Nothing was too much.She served the most beautiful breakfast in the morning and then with such enthusiasm helped with suggesting what we could do each day,from telling us about all the beaches,the times of boats and buses and suggesting restaurants and kindly reserving a table for us. We could not recommend the Anchor house more.

Sadece 2 gün konakladık ama haftalardır oradaymış hissine kapıldık. Seda hanım ve ailesi kapılarını sonuna kadar bizlere açtılar. Temiz bir oda, yeterli bir kahvaltı, güler yüzlü karşılama ve Palamutbükü sahile olan yakınlığıyla ideal bir konum. Datça da köy yaşamını deneyimleyebileceğiniz bir ev. Tekrar gitmeyi planlıyoruz eşimle. Seda hanım ve ailesine teşekkürü borç biliriz. Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum.

Villa Vino’nun kendine has bir ruhu var. Çiğdem hanımın kurduğu zeytinlerini, kahvaltıdaki harika omletlerini, eyle yaptığı ekmeklerini, kaymağını ve odada kullandığı pamuk çarşafları ve kaliteli yastıklara kadar herşeyin organik ve sevgiyle yapıldıgını görüyorsunuz. Teşekkürler🌸

Yilmaz and Ülfet are some of the most gracious hosts you could ever ask for. It felt like we were staying with family from the moment we arrived until we left. Truly a unique experience, between the lush garden, delicious homemade turkish breakfasts, and breathtaking views I give this airbnb my absolute highest recommendation!

The Anchor House has to be the best place you could ever wish for on Symi. the prices are brilliant for what you get. We have been to Symi many times over the years but the location, high standards of finish and amazing hospitality is outstanding. The rooms have high ceilings, sea views and super cool. Shutters open or closed you wake up feeling like you are on the Mamamia set. The design of the property is very good indeed, as there are many chill-out locations in the shade or in the sun throughout the day, and the views are breathtaking and two choices - sea or one of the prettiest harbours in the area. You are out of the hustle and bustle of town at The Anchor House....it's a really nice walk to start your day heading to a taxi boat to a remote beach on the island or a romantic walk home after supper Symi town has only one beach and you are located right at it so morning swims before the beach gets busy is achievable at 8am....that's then followed by a warm shower and a breakfast prepared for you by Janine who does such a brilliant freshly squeezed juice. As you can tell we like Symi but this is a new level all together. Happy Holidays!
