This place was amazing; the best air BNB we have ever been too. The place felt magical. The gardens were beautiful, the cottage was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with recommendations of where to hike as that's why we took the trip. We loved the log fire and spa bath. The location far exceeded our expectations. The walks were great and we preferred Harrietville to Bright. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back next year. Thank you John and Anne for creating Shady Brook.

A Perfect Winter Escape with Stunning Views! What a fantastic winter getaway for our group of eight! WenResting's waterfront views are even more breathtaking in person. The house is incredibly spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating our large group without feeling crowded. We loved the cozy living areas, and the reverse-cycle air conditioning was a blessing on the chilly evenings. The well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed, and having all the linen and towels provided was a thoughtful touch. Kellie was a brilliant host, friendly and communicative and made the entire check-in process effortless. The location is second to none. Being just a short, scenic stroll from the footbridge made exploring Lakes Entrance an absolute breeze. The spectacular views and warm, inviting atmosphere made our stay unforgettable. What an incredible house for a large group of people with a HUGE Communal area , gorgeous views overlooking Bright and so private on 17 acres The house was extremely clean and well stocked Communication with both Victoria and Adrian was exceptional An easy walk into the centre of town We will definitely LOVE to stay again Many thanks

We only had 1 night at this B&B (last night). Ling met us on arrival with an umbrella because it was absolutely pouring rain. Everything was nicely presented and once we turned the heating on we were nice and cosy and warm. Everything in the way of amenities was supplied. The continental breakfast was sufficient with lots of choices of cereal, toast and fruit and everything is dairy free so we enjoyed our first Oat Milk Cappuccino and really enjoyed it. This cabin is a real gem. Genuine peace and quiet, a true escape from humanity, exactly what I was after. Right on the river, I sat down on the perfectly located seat and listened to the rushing water for hours. It was clean, exactly as described and there is no doubt I will be back again someday. Spent the night at the stables farm stay for a 30th birthday celebrations, region wine tour, it was the perfect place for us 6 friends to sit around, catch up & enjoy a glass of wine or 2. Thank you for the beautiful house we could make home for the night. Beautiful views, comfortable facilities.

We had a fantastic stay at Peak 202 over Easter for a family wedding—John was a wonderful host and the apartment was perfect. Just steps from the village and Chamois ski run, the location couldn’t be better. The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were stunning, and the space was warm, welcoming, and well-equipped. Our family felt completely at home with three spacious bedrooms, a spa bath, drying room, full laundry, and a great kitchen with everything from a Nespresso machine to a dishwasher. The gas fireplace, Smart TVs, free WiFi, and heated balcony with BBQ made it extra cozy and convenient. Keyless entry and thoughtful extras like games and a secure parking space really stood out. Everything was spotless, stylish, and designed with comfort in mind. Thanks, John, for a memorable and seamless stay—we’ll definitely return to Peak 202!

We really enjoyed our stay at Melinda’s Airbnb. It was in a great location, easy to find and access, the fire was alight when we arrived and the space was very warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed the decor and found the space clean and tidy. We had a slight mishap with the shower which has a narrow entry. We would recommend bringing your own pillows (we unfortunately forgot ours). The yard is great for leashed toilet walks for dogs. We were mindful that we could hear people on the other side of the adjoining door which is just something to note but wasn’t particularly intrusive. Overall, would recommend and we would stay again. Melinda was a great host.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lucas’s place! The house is beautiful, offering the best views of Lakes Entrance — truly breathtaking. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. Lucas was a fantastic host, friendly and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect throughout our visit. The house was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with plenty of amenities to make the stay convenient and enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to experience Lakes Entrance in Paynesville in style and comfort!

What a beautiful weekend away in the tranquil walnut farm groves of the apline region - with birds-sheep-cattle-foxes to keep us company- and our dog could run around and enjoy life while the fire kept us toasty warm. Ronaldo has completely undersold this place as a gem for the region - will visit again

A wonderful, peaceful place! The views are beautiful. Especially at dawn. Friendly host and animals. Rolly, the canine concierge, especially. Our dogs particularly loved this Airbnb. Probably their most favorite ever! Excellent gravel bike rides close by. The house is an authentic Australian farmhouse. A mixture of eclectic design elements. Very loved and visited by treasured family. Staying here took me back to visiting friend's parents farms fifty years ago! Except for the sparkling new Bali inspired bathroom! Very comfy beds, warm living spaces, heaps of kitchen things, a wonderful library and a strong sense of family history. No airs and graces. Honest, country hospitality. Congratulations on a lovely place! We loved our stay and hope to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Jan’s place. It was the perfect place for a cold winter weekend. We loved the fireplace and the bbq. It was shame that it rained the whole time, otherwise we would’ve used the fire pit too. The cottage had everything we needed to cook our meals. The bed was very comfortable. The place had a small secure dog pen where my dog could be off leash. There were also towels and bowls for dogs. We had a very comfortable stay with my dog. It was our second time at Mad on the Buckland. Kay was an absolutely wonderful host. We didn’t know there was a festival happening in Bright until Kay kindly let us know. Thanks to that, we were able to visit Bright just in time and enjoy the festival without missing a thing. The location is perfect for visiting nearby places, and we had such a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Thank you, Kay!

We were only able to stay one night but really enjoyed our time there. The flat is the perfect size for a small family and was very clean. We would definitely stay again if we come back.

The unit was clean as recently been updated, with everything you need and close locations to shops and easy access to everything.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. It is a slice of peaceful paradise. There is so much land you can walk around on and the views are amazing! If you love animals, this is the place for you. Cows, geese, a turkey, bull, sheep, even a pony and more. The dog Max was the cherry on top of a perfect trip. He’s the sweetest boy and you’ll fall in love with him! Tab and Terry are great hosts, very responsive and easy to chat too.

Wonderful winter stay at Upper Lurg. 3 couples could not have loved the house more on a cold weekend. Facilities and space were amazing with everything you could need. The pool looked a bit cool at 7 degrees but we could see outdoor summer entertaining being amazing, the spaces, the outdoor cooking area all looked amazing, was ready to crank up the pizza oven. If only the chickens were laying eggs. The location was amazing for the King Valley Wineries. Easy drive to all the Valley. Will plan another visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property in beautiful Marysville. The house had everything you need including a fully equipped kitchen and wood fire place. The fire kept the house nice and toasty. Beds were comfy and rooms stayed warm .We chose not to pay the extra fee and brought our own linen which worked out well. There were books, games and a hardrive of movies which helped keep the kids entertained in the wet weather. The surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful and the native birds often come to greet you on the deck.
