Beautiful cottage in a truely peaceful and private setting! We had a delightful stay here, everything was perfect - a great romantic escape. We’ll be back to experience it in winter with the outdoor spa and starry night skies.

The Glenbosch Winery was absolutely beautiful and we were so lucky to stay in one of their beautiful cottages. The outdoor bath was spectacular and the surroundings were beautiful. If you are staying onsite, or even if you are not, you must go to their cellar door. We had not previously heard of their wines, but they were really beautiful and we’d highly recommend them. Nika and Dirk were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back.

me and my partner stayed 2 nights. we had such a great time at this cozy little getaway. we loved chilling by the fire and relaxing in the spa we also seen a couple of deer's running around i would 100% recommend staying here.

The snowgum chalet was absolute serenity. A very peaceful and romantic get away for me and my partner. The only noise was from the ducks and birds which we loved. Very private and secluded. Pool was cold but the hot spa made up for it. Wendy was very accomodating and efficient in her responses. Thankyou for having us - beautiful weekend :)

Loved our stay. Everything matched the description. Beautifully styled and felt right at home. The river at the bottom of the property is spectacular and really adds to the overall charm. Saw local Kangaroos and Deer down by the river. Bed was comfy, heating with the electric heater was ample and plenty of firewood on hand for the Coonarra fire. An easy 20min drive into town. Felixa was really responsive to any questions and helpful. There’s no TV but that’s mentioned in the description. There’s plenty of games etc to keep you occupied. Wi-Fi worked fine.

beautiful location and clean home

We were looking for a quiet, isolated, bush retreat and it was absolutely perfect. Nothing better than enjoying the large tub on the deck while watching the native wildlife. Would recommend!

What an amazing and cozy little cottage, privately located in the bush, loads of wildlife, I saw deer, roos, wallabys and wombats! Amanda and Rob were extremely accommodating and helpful and have amazing blueberry liqueur which is worth the visit alone. Highly recommend for a relaxing and cosy stay.

We had a great few days at this cute little cabin. Our toddler loved feeding the chickens on the property. The fire made it so warm and cosy and Robert had set it up all ready for our arrival which was a nice touch. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a little country getaway. Beautiful, super clean and spacious shack in a peaceful and private location. Beds were sooo comfy, well equipped kitchen and the fireplace was cosy. We enjoyed the walking tracks down to the river with the dogs and sitting on the deck with a wine in the evenings looking over the river.

Our 2-day Timber Top Lodge stay was magical. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and comfort of the wooden cabin enveloped us, feeling instantly like a second home. The crackling wood fire was an absolute highlight, providing the ultimate ambiance for peaceful evenings. Thoughtful amenities exceeded expectations, making it a luxurious home away from home. Mornings featured delightful parrot feedings. It was a perfect off-grid nature escape, deeply enjoyed by our GSD, Chester. Beyond the stunning setting and comfortable accommodations, Michael and Giselle were simply superb hosts. Their genuine hospitality shone through, as they were constantly in touch, ensuring every need was met with promptness and warmth. Their dedication truly elevated our stay. Timber Top Lodge is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience for the soul. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and already dreaming of our next visit. Highly, highly recommend!

Amazing location! So very private, we didn’t see a soul for miles! A great place for a sneaky weekend away! The fire was cosy and almost all the light you need at night. Great idea to bring your own kindling and firewood, just in case. Make sure you get there early in the day, if you’re not familiar with farms it might be hard to find. Did I say private? Oooohhhh it was exactly what we were after!

Loved our stay in Swifts Creek. It was a perfect escape from the city. The surroundings were so peaceful and relaxing. Would stay here again.

A fantastic stay at Kelly’s beautiful log cabin. Beautifully appointed with everything you need for a cosy weekend away. Super comfy beds with lovely linen, spotless bathroom with a European laundry with washer and dryer plus drying cupboard for wet gear. A short walk to a picnic ground with river access, plus walking trails to a local waterfall (all dog friendly). Stacks of local information available in the cabin which was super useful. Kelly was friendly and responsive and provided lots of recommendations for the area. We will come back and stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Anna's place - just like the pictures it was cosy in a gorgeous setting. Anna set up the fire for our arrival which was wonderful, was very responsive and provided great recommendations for nearby walks and eateries. It is very close to the main house so doesn't quite feel as secluded when you arrive, but once inside and from the balconies it still felt that we were in our own private retreat.

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Pricilla’s airbnb Upon a Star. Very easy host to deal with, and really enjoyed the amenities the property offered. Would highly recommend.

I had booked this a birthday present for my wife. The photos looked very impressive. My only slight reservation was there was a spilt system for heating and we were arriving in early winter. We were therefore very pleasantly surprised to find that the owners have just installed a beautiful wood burning stove which was roaring away when we arrived. It completed the very cosy ambience. This is a very well crafted home. A tin outbuilding that has been beautifully decked out in an eclectic bohemian style with some imaginative design elements, including using the old copper wood fired laundry tub as a bathroom sink. Bright is a few minutes away and a beautiful place to visit. We walked to the top of the Apex Lookout and then lunch at Clean Bowled. Back to the house for an outdoor bath and then dinner at Chop Chop and an arthouse movie in the beautiful cinema. A perfect weekend! This is a rural property so there are some local cockerels who start early but we were able to get back to sleep.

Brilliant stay at Sambar Hills. Sally was great and we hit up the Chrismont Winery which was the best winery we’ve been to. Highly recommend, will be coming back.

We had a wonderful weekend in serenity, visiting the local towns and travelling to Wilson’s Prom. The location is quite remote but with Thai in mind Bryan and Clarice have the cabin stocked so well with amenities. We loved the fire for that extra special touch. Thanks for having us.

Had a great weekend with some friends at this homely, comfy and picturesque home. We were blessed with good weather and had a lovely time on the river. The house is not too far from town in Jamieson. My only wish was that there were other dining options outside of the General Store - as friendly as they were!
