Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. We had an amazing stay at Roxanne Villa! The space was perfect, with plenty of room for everyone, and all appliances worked great. The day before our arrival, there was a sandstorm, but the host went above and beyond—he cleaned the pool that morning and even returned the next day before we woke up to make sure it was spotless for a refreshing swim. Hospitality was excellent. The house was cleaned every three days, and any issues were quickly addressed. On arrival, the fridge was stocked with fresh fruit and snacks, which was a thoughtful touch. A small minimarket is just a 3-minute walk away, ideal for the first day. For more variety, we recommend taking the bus to the larger supermarkets, but note that buses often leave 15–20 minutes earlier than scheduled. There are good bus connections to the city and beach, and taxis to clubs were affordable. Overall, a fantastic and well-organized stay! Thank you George!

The house and garden are absolutely stunning. Very clean and thoughtfully decorated. There is a traditional Taverna within walking distance of the Villa, but recommend renting a car for your stay. The hosts were helpful, responsive and pleasant. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing stay this is your place!

Periklis was such a wonderful host, the villa was gorgeous and was in a brilliant location for exploring the local coasts and restaurants. Looking forward to coming again soon!

Nikos’s team was incredibly hospitable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. They were extremely communicative and helpful in getting our party around the island. We would love to stay at one of Nikos’s properties again and highly recommend their services to any looking for accommodation on Crete.

An absolute gem, we had an amazing stay at Maria's place. The house is absolutely beautiful, modern with quality all around. It's also super private with nothing but nature around you. Will definitely be coming back!!

Effie looked after us well, always at our disposal and proactively offering help. The place was perfect for our needs, comfortable, flexible and easy to live in. The location is out of the way and up a hill, which makes it peaceful and serene. The neighbour cats were very friendly, one of them leaving the gift of a mouse on our doorstep overnight-we are vegetarians but it’s the thought that counts! We highly recommend this place.

We had the best time staying here! The villa is beautiful, everything you need is there and it’s in the perfect location for walking to local restaurants, shops and to the beach. The bus stop to get into Chania is at the end of the road, and the bus comes every 10 minutes and is only a 10 minute journey to the old town! Couldn’t fault a thing about our stay. We will most certainly be back, thank you so much!

We had a fabulous stay here. The villa is lovely, inside and out, with a well equipped kitchen, including food staples and a variety of different seating areas outside. The pool is great and the beach is virtually on the doorstep, with free sunbeds (if you buy at least a drink from the local taverna). In terms of local amenities, there is a small shop and a couple of tavernas within a few minutes walk, plus a small hotel complex, where you can also eat and visit their bar. There are 2 larger supermarkets within a couple of kilometres, for which you would either need a car or taxi, however the hosts were kind enough to ferry us there and back, when we first arrived, which was so helpful. Chania Old Town is beautiful and we travelled there on a couple of occasions by taxi (28E) in the evening, but you can also take a bus which stops near to the villa. Finally, the hosts, Eleni and Thrasyvoulos were lovely, regularly checking in without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

Lovely house; very well equipped and comfortable. Well suited for us as a family (me with daughters, their husbands and grandchildren). Quiet area, close to beaches, food stores and good restaurants. Also easy to go to Chania by local bus. Although a small ‘hiccup’ with pickup at airport and self check in (generously allowed early though) everything was well resolved. The hosts and housekeeper are really helpful and answered quickly to any questions. All in all a great place to stay- and the pictures are true to what you get. I would easily want to return!

A lovely villa - looked exactly like the photos. We were a family of 8 adults and 2 small children and there was room for all of us. Kitchen was big enough with every utensil (and more) you could think of. Our host was there to greet us and was always responsive when needed ( 2 small issues both quickly resolved). A lovely welcome basket of food/drink etc was a nice touch. I would not say a car is essential - its less than 10 mins walk to several lovely restaurants and a nice little beach. However the nearest proper supermarket is 30-40 mins walk although its only a 10 euro taxi back and youll save more than that as the local shop (2 mins down the hill) is only really any good for fresh bread and emergency supplies! The outside/pool area in villa was roomy and the inside hot tub/sauna were well used. My only advice would be to have some sun loungers on the terrace outside main bedroom as that did seem wasted space although lovely views of the mountains and the sea. We would stay again.

Absolutely wonderful! We were so happy with our stay at Villa Sissy. Booking was smooth and all questions were answered. The house is beautiful and the pool is amazing. We had the pool heated (in april) and was perfect. Everyone, especially the kids, enjoyed it. We were 3 generations staying - 4 children, 5 adults. Each bed room nicely decorated with en suite. Sissy as a hostess was welcoming, informative, helpful and friendly. And the welcoming package was amazing. Sissy even managed an extra bed in one room to suit the family. Chef Spyros recommended through cretevillas4u was great! All in all - a great vacation in villa Sissy!

Absolutely incredible stay at the villa very opulent from the minute the gate opens . So spacious,5 of us stayed for 1 week and the villa was just perfect. Our stay at Villa Darazzo was lovely. The pool was particularly nice as well as the other outdoor spaces in the Villa. The Villa had everything we needed for our stay and Antonis our host was incredibly responsive to any questions or needs we had! The Villa was a close 15 minute ride (€12 taxi) to town. We had a great time in Crete!

The space was stunning and perfectly matched the description/photos. The location was excellent. There are several nice restaurants nearby, a short trip to the beach, and by car to the center of Chania about 10min. Georgia was such a friendly and helpful host. Always responded to messages very quickly.

Discovering Crete for the first time and being able to relax in this villa is something truly exceptional. The panoramic view is breathtaking! I highly recommend this accommodation to enjoy the peace, the pool, the view, and all the nearby places! We've just spent a fantastic week here. Great location, only about 10-15 mins drive from Chania and 15 mins from Therisos Gorge. Near to lots of beautiful beaches, you can take your pick! The house is spotlessly clean and has all the amenities you could ever need. 3 lovely bedrooms with super comfy beds Beautiful pool and BBQ area. Also received some very welcome essentials on our arrival, such as milk, bread, eggs, fresh fruit etc. Very thoughtful. We are missing beautiful Crete already and hope to return as soon as possible.

Stayed at Villa Ekfrasis in May 2025 and it was exactly what I needed—a break from real life with a serious upgrade in luxury. The villa is stylish but cozy, with beds so comfy I nearly tried to smuggle the mattress home. The kitchen has an espresso machine, and all the appliances a gourmet chef would dream of... which I used to only boil pasta. (A culinary masterpiece.) There's a washer and dryer so you can pretend you’re responsible even on vacation. The pool area is dreamy, with umbrellas and sun beds that basically dare you to stay awake. It's not heated, but Christos, our hero of a host, told us to hop over to the Mossa hotel pool 30 seconds away. (yes, I tested it! in flip-flops!) The villa is close to Chania, and Christos had all the best local tips. But I would rather stay around the villa, the wonderful park for walking/running (1 min away) and the local beach (3 mins away). Would I go back? In a heartbeat. With extra luggage space for a mattress.

Katerina’s house is a great base from which to explore the eastern side of Crete. It is very easy to spend a day in Chania, drive up into the mountains, or visit one of the beautiful beaches nearby. Katerina gave us some great tips for eating out and shopping locally, and also for car hire which can be arranged through her husband. The house itself is very well equipped, with lovely towels and bed linen giving it a luxury feel. It is set in a beautiful garden with birds and butterflies visiting all day, a fab pool and an amazing view. Although there is a reasonable bus service, you do need a car to make the most of your time, particularly as the village does not have a restaurant or taverna. We would definitely visit again!
