Hotel holiday rentals in Daratsos

One of my favorite Airbnb experiences to date which we splurged on for my best friends birthday. I️ wish we had booked directly with them and will in the future as the Airbnb fees are really high but it was an unforgettable experience. Everything from the linens to the soaps were high quality and the breakfast was exceptional. The added care and help getting our luggage to the unit was so helpful and it really made the high price feel worth it for the extra attention and care. We will be back again for sure!

We had a wonderful vacation, also thanks to the accommodation! Has already been well described by the predecessors. Communication with Basilis in advance and on site with Amalia: charming, friendly, top. The garden is BEAUTIFUL, TOP location, fantastic sunsets from the panoramic balcony - unfortunately, a - partly audible - construction site is rising directly in front, which will affect the fantastic panorama in the future depending on the height. Very unfortunate. For the more sensitive, the reverberation could be a bit disturbing. Equipment completely sufficient for us, even espresso maker available (vital for us;-) Bathroom is small, simple, but sufficient, has seen better days. Daily cleaning is perfect! We definitely give "4 stars plus" and will be happy to come back. Thank you, dear Amalia!

Already in advance, Emmanuel and Yannis provided us with great information for the area. Very unobtrusive and super well organized. Someone was always available and had great suggestions for our individual vacation wishes (diving courses, Beaches, restaurants, rental cars, taxi from the airport). We arrived and the apartment corresponded perfectly to the descriptions, everything was there, great terrace with sea view, clean and nice bathroom, working air conditioning, cleaning worked out great, everything you need on summer vacation. The entire complex was just renovated. All houses freshly painted, a new pool, new loungers/umbrellas, great! A rather quiet location, but the combination of tranquility, a nice tavern, pool and beach in less than 100 meters radius with permanent great sea views is wonderful. A rental car to explore the west part of the island (great beaches, Chania town) makes a lot of sense. We enjoyed the holiday very much!

After my plane was delayed, Maria was very accommodating and met me after midnight to let me in!

Staying here has set my expectations of Cretan hospitality in my mind hereafter. I spent nearly two weeks here and I couldn't have asked for a better time in Crete. By the time we left, we had local businesspeople shouting our names down the street to say hello, there was always something to do in town or a new restaurant to try. Very close to beautiful upper Platanias, as well as the more touristy main strip and the beach. Very nice jumping off point to the western beaches like Falasarna or Elafonisos, Manousakis winery, Chania, and even did a long day to Knossos and back. Filled the time in between in the pool, which was very well kept, and never felt like we were crowding the place. We were allowed an early check-in after arriving on an early flight to Chania, and never struggled to find parking right next to the complex. I can not recommend this place highly enough and cannot put into words how hard it was to leave.

Dimitris was so so helpful. so close to the airport, so the location is great for that but not if you’re looking for some food/things to do. room was gorgeous and greek & the breakfast was beautiful too. thank you thank you!

We had the pleasure to stay at Evangelina’s place for 3nights. The family hotel is cute with direct access to the beach and has its own sun beds too. Evi and Mike have both been very helpful and kind to give us the best available room and help us out with all the questions we have had. Public transport stops just a few minutes from the hotel. And many restaurants, shops and grocery stores are nearby. We can give our best recommendations ☺️

Absolutely adored the place. The host was very friendly and made us feel like home. The location was perfect for us, walkable distance to the beach and during the night we could enjoy the peace and quiet at the balcony. We will definitely come back :)

We had a lovely stay with Nikos and Katerina .. they are lovely hosts .. the rooms are impeccably clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay .. beds are very comfortable, nice hot water with good pressure, tiny kitchen .. but enough for making breakfast ... but there are so many places around to eat (food in Crete is fantastic) ... situated directly on the beach ... with all amenities close by ... post office, shops, restaurants , bars etc. There is a lovely family feel to the place ... we would definitely go back if we are in Crete again

Everything was amazing! Of everywhere we went in Greece my husband and I most enjoyed Chania. The food is amazing and the location of Ioannis’ place is perfect! A stunning apartment with the perfect private pool. Thanks for an amazing stay, we will definitely return!

Anyone who has gone on family holidays with their parents in the 90s and the next, and remembers them with nostalgia, stay here... It brought back memories of my childhood holidays. Very beautiful and simple space, with the hammocks in each apartment, the sun in the morning as it hit the grass, the smell of the morning watering, the seagulls that can be heard from afar and the whole setup made me think about it for every summer season, even a 3-day stay with my family... The apartment has the basics, and anything one thinks they will need extra, I think the host, who is excellent in terms of communication, will provide it! Thanks so much!

I absolutely loved my stay. Proimos Maisonnettes is a real gem. It has a lot of character and charm but what makes this place really special are the people: Constantinos, Vaso and Costas. They made me feel as if I was staying with friends or family and since I was there on my own, I really appreciated it. Make sure you eat at Costa’s because it’s like home made food you won’t get anywhere else in Platanias. Even something as simple as Greek Salad is amazing! The best one I have ever had and I had many! I loved my maisonnette. It was cosy, charming, clean and had everything I needed. Shops and restaurants are walking distance. I highly recommend Kyano and Match More, both close by. I cannot recommend this place more.

Simply put, Georgoshouse is a little slice of heaven on earth! There is nothing pretentious to be found here. This is a family-run home with rooms to rent and a nice little taverna. The owners and staff are very kind and welcoming. And the pet-friendly environment is something I really appreciate. A sweet little seaside oasis, you can come here to escape the bustling crowds of the more touristy areas of Crete. The drive there is visually stunning and the heights a little dizzying. It is a bit scary if you have fear of heights, as the road is narrow without shoulders or guardrails. However, another option is to park in Hora Sfakion and take a water taxi over instead. That's what I'll do next time!

The place was very nice. Hosts were very nice and very helpful with questions. The place was very clean Close to the beach on foot about 5 min.

The Belmondo suite has an amazing view of the Venetian harbor, the terrace is fabulous, the shower and the hammam are a nice surprise. The hotel staff are lovely and very helpful. The welcome upon arrival of great kindness. A stay worth recommending!

Thank you for the great stay in Spilia.Spilia is a village surrounded by citrus trees and olive trees. Iro is such a great and warm hostess. Already on arrival I was greeted with homemade lemonade, fruit and vegetables. The apartment has everything you could want and is very clean and modern. One feels directly at home. The apartment has a large balcony where you can sit in the evening and listen to nature. Behind the house is a beautiful garden where you can relax or take a dip in the pool. Iro has great tips on how to make your stay in Crete even more interesting and is very helpful in the organization. We also had the opportunity to talk a bit about the culture and introduced me to Greek cuisine. This was very nice and has sweetened the stay even more. I can only recommend a stay with Iro. It was very great and send my best regards and hugs.
