Waterfront holiday rentals in Danta Beach

We absolutely love this place. This is our second year in playa Potrero. We have looked at multiple places in the area. This is by far the best location. On the beach, it has an amazing view. It is also close enough to all of the restaurants and bars. No need for a car or golf cart unless you want to travel out of town. We have visited multiple beaches north and south of there. This is a place that we would chose hands down. We like a chill environment with good bars and restaurants in walking distance. This is it!

My husband and I took our first family vacation with our 2.5 year old son, and Pedro's home was the perfect family-friendly location. First, the home itself felt even nicer than shown in the pictures. The home was spotless, spacious, and included everything we needed for our stay. Our toddler was delighted by all of the beach and pool toys on the property, and the pool has a large shallow ledge that made swimming much more accessible to him. The pool was cleaned every morning by the groundskeeper who was very friendly. The property is fully gated, and we felt safe and comfortable knowing that Pedro and his wife lived on the third floor, and the groundskeeper also lived on the property. That said, our stay still felt private. The location and views simply cannot be beat. Each evening, the sun sets directly in front of the property over the ocean. Playa Hermosa as a whole was quiet, calm, and welcoming, and I'd argue that Pedro's home is the best property there.

This is a very clean, modern condo with all expected appliances and furnishings to have a great beach stay. The grounds are beautiful, and it is a close drive to the beach club which is amazing. Definitely recommend for a stay in Playa Conchal.

What a spot for a vacation! The location was prime and the room itself was well suited for everything you need. This is a hidden gem in the area. Things I appreciated the most: The ocean was steps away for a swim at anytime. The shop keepers and restaurant owners downstairs are great people and pleasant to talk to during your stay. Waffle monkey (breakfast) and Portofino are the best spots for breakfast, fresh seafood, low cost happy hours, and fire show at night during sunset. You can literally walk anywhere in minutes. There is 3 separate door with locks to get to your top floor rental so this spot is very safe! If you are lucky, you'll notice a 5 foot iguana that rests in the trees to your right off the porch, spending days in the trees. Alvaro is the mgmt person who helps you. He speaks great English and responds rapidly to questions. Can't wait to return and bring family. The two units next to each other would be an ideal joint rental for a group of 5-7 people. Highly recommend!!!

La estadía en el alojamiento fue excelente, el lugar estaba limpio, cómodo y el anfitrión fue muy atento y amable. En cuanto a la ubicación, me hizo sentir algo insegura al principio, probablemente por percepción personal. Sin embargo, no tuvimos ningún problema durante nuestra estadía.

Private and secure location. Having beach chairs was awesome and beach access to Ocotal was great! Great spot for families. We appreciated regular communication and check ins- many thanks to Mark!

Beach front in Playa Potrero! One of four ground level units in condo. The pool and grass lawn are wonderful. The long black sand beach has baseball size and smaller rocks in the surf, but there aren’t any large rock structures in the area the waves crash. At high tide only sand is in the crashing waves. The unit has quality furniture and cookware. The grill is cleaned daily as well as general cleaning and maintenance of the common grounds. Eating out in the area is very pricey. The condo has the kitchen and outdoor gas grill to stop at the Walmart or Costco in Liberia for groceries and use the nearby San Martin Butcher for wonderful family meals!

We felt right at home at Andres place. The outdoor shower was a standout. I've always wanted one! We also were visited by howler monkeys in the AM. It was beautiful.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Stephen was a most helpful host and assisted us in making all of our plans for a short but fantastic visit to Costa Rica. The house is just as advertised, clean and spacious. The views are out of this world and the access to amenities on the resort are perfect. Quick trip to local beaches and restaurants and we even had time to prepare a few meals in the kitchen. We followed all of Stephen’s advice including a half-day snorkeling trip with Juan Carlos which was a home run! I literally cannot say enough good things about the experience I had with Stephen and his beautiful home. I just followed the playbook he provided during our pre-visit telephone call and everything worked out beautifully. Playa Hermosa’s beach is breathtaking and Stephen made all the right restaurant recommendations! I was looking for a simple and fun trip for my family of five and thanks to Stephen my plan came to fruition. So relaxing!

Out family couldnt say enough great things about the host and the home. They went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Our 7 member adult family had plenty to do, great recommendations from the host. Extra accommodations when asked. House was beautiful and clean. We engaged them throughout the trip and we felt like VIPs on the complex. I highly recommend this host and property. We are looking forward to a return trip in the near future!!

We really enjoyed our time in Potrero. Mike was extremely responsive to any questions or concerns we had. The condo was very well stocked with anything we might need - including an abundance of towels, beach chairs and even a cooler that we made use of. The only drawback (being that we were there over New Years) was the bar across the street that played their music extremely loud, both New Years and the next night. Needless to say, we didn’t get much sleep until the music stopped. However, everything else was great, especially Penca Beach a short walk away. We loved that!!

This place was truly amazing. The house has a beautiful ocean view and was very comfortable. All the AC units worked well, which was welcomed on the hot nights. We also enjoyed the pool to cool off on hot days and the hammocks to relax after a long day! The house was very clean and secure, and the WiFi was very fast which was welcomed for movie nights. I appreciated the extra neighborhood security, they were very nice and we felt safe. Crystal was very responsive and detailed in instructions for arrival and departure. The one thing I might recommend, is adding a few beach chairs to take down to playa Negra! Thanks again Crystal, we will certainly be back!

Not much to add beyond the countless rave reviews here. The restorative and serene view and location is obviously the best quality, but the condo itself is comfortable and offers all the comforts of home as well. We loved the empty beach, the sound of the surf, and the cackle of the tropical birds. If you want crowds and traffic jams, head to Tamarindo. If you yearn for quiet and a vintage Costan Rican experience, I recommend without hesitation.

Amazing Family Vacation at Playa Flamingo! Our stay at Cody and Anna’s wonderful Airbnb in Playa Flamingo was truly unforgettable. The property is perfect for families—spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My three teens loved the nearby beache and all the fun activities, while I appreciated the peaceful surroundings and beautiful ocean. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially with his awesome guidebook. They made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this awesome place for anyone looking for a relaxing, fun and family-friendly getaway in Costa Rica. We can't wait to return!

We absolutely loved our time at this condo! Ron was an incredibly responsive host and super helpful for any needs we had. The condo views were stunning and the ability to just walk steps to the beach cannot be beat!! The condo itself was comfortable, had everything we needed for a week long stay, was secure and we truly felt right at home. We would 100% recommend this property to anyone headed to Potrero. The location not only provides that easy beach access but it’s a short walk to multiple restaurants and adventures. We have stayed in Potrero multiple times before and we would without a doubt stay here again.

Wonderful view of the water from the moment you walk in the front door! We didn’t get tired of looking at the water or listening to the waves on the large deck. We traveled with another couple and there was plenty of space for everyone. Although we didn’t cook in, it appeared there were ample plates, silverware, cooking utensils, pans, etc. There was a coffee maker, microwave and a blender, but no toaster. The beds in all rooms were firm. The white sand beach in Flamingo is beautiful and my favorite in Costa Rica. The town of Flamingo has several restaurants/bars and the Flamingo marina is also very close. You can walk to the beach, restaurants/bars and marina, but the condo is up a steep hill. We elected to rent a golf cart and were also able to see Potrero and Brasilito. I loved the location of the condo and we had a great time.

Excellent AirBnB. Views from the deck and pool are superb. The unit is super clean, quiet and safe. Beds are comfy, on the soft side which we like. Water pressure is low and variable, but that’s not unusual. Condo complex grounds are very well maintained. Beautiful and clean pool and friendly maintenance staff. The location is walking distance to both the marina and the beautiful Flamingo Beach. Finally, Ray is phenomenal. We’ve had lots of hosts and he is by far the best! He is extremely responsive and provides useful information and recommendations beyond the standard AirBnB. He clearly cares about his guests’ experience. We highly recommend his place and will definitely stay here if we return to the area. Thanks Ray!

This was a beautiful vacation property with all the needed amenities. The location was ideal as it was within easy walking distance of a number of restaurants and shops.

Great condo, plenty of space and easy access to the beach via shuttle! Comfy beds and all amenities you need ! I would love to stay again!
