In a Faluröd log cabin on a farm you will have the opportunity to experience the best Dalarna has to offer. In the heart of Siljansnäs you will find this small farm cottage with room for three people. The cottage was renovated 2023, the bathroom 2018. Within walking distance there is a kiosk and grocery store and a little further up in the village there is a café, hotel and mini golf. 200 meters from the front door is Byrviken, an excellent swimming spot. Within a 20 minute drive there is also Tegera Arena, Granberget's ski slope and cross-country skiing.

The accommodation is a separate guest part of the house with own entrance. It consists of one bedroom with a double bed and one large living room with a bunk bed, kitchen area and seating area. The bathroom has a toilet, a shower and a washing machine. A large terrace facing the lake, with a seat under a pergola, and guests have their own disposal over the entire terrace. Possibility to borrow rowboat and life jackets. Towels and beds are not not, but are available to rent for SEK 150/set. Cleaning not included in the listing.

Summer cottage/cabin by Grundsjön

Free wifi, hot tub, 3 meters from water, quiet and nice, close to nature, dishwasher, washing machine, terrace, private parking, shower and toilet, fireplace, floor heating and everything is newly renovated in 2020. Bed linen and towels should be brought yourself. Cleaning should be done before checking out and should be thoroughly done eg vacuum, dry the floors, dust-dry bathrooms and kitchens. You leave the house as it was when you arrived. Rowing boat is included in the cabin. You need to clean the house before you leave.

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop 4 min walk. The house is timbered in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from the death of the wastehouse when it was moved here. The decor is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Unwind in this one-of-a-kind and tranquil home with the personal decor of Dalastil. The cottage is located with amazing views of Siljan. On the farm, the host couple lives in the house and there is a large garden that provides privacy. The accommodation includes toilet, shower, sauna, charcoal grill and outdoor furniture. There is a double bed in a separate bedroom and sofa bed with two beds in the living room. Cleaning is not included in the price and should be done before checkout.
