it is located in one of the most beautiful places in chikkamanglur. the view from the place is extraordinary and you won't feel like going to any other view point.the food that was served in the property was really good authentic malnad food and the owner was very friendly and approachable.

The place is set about 20kms from Chikmagalur in the beautiful and green HanDi. The road leading up to the estate is surreal and picturesque. It’s is a quaint small town, quiet and away from every worry of the city and work life. The hosts we’re tremendously generous and have ensured our return to the estate. The beautiful trail outside our cottage, leading up to the peak of their dense estate, overlooking the forests was breathtaking. We also had dinner (super yummy and sumptuous meal) among fireflies! :) If you’re looking for a getaway for a 2 day weekend and are enthusiastic to be away from technology and spend time in meaningful conversations, this is the place to be!

Very friendly host. We loved the food. Homestay was exactly same as mentioned. Only issue was Wifi was not working. And you are completely dependent on host for food. As there is no restaurant or food joint nearby. Worth the money.

Rainforest retreat is a beautiful getaway close to Madikeri. The Luna cottage is relatively easier to access than some of the other cottages in the plantation. There's plenty to do in and around the plantation - bird watching, hiking, learning about medicinal plants, etc. The food was excellent and Ravi Anna was very helpful and ensured that we had everything we needed. We would absolutely recommend Rainforest Retreat to anyone looking to spend more time in nature and enjoy organic food and a sustainable way of living.

Good experience

Beautiful house in the middle of a coffee plantation a short distance away from Chikmagalur. Went with my cousins for a weekend and had a great time. The hosts are very nice people and our interactions with them were very nice and smooth. The rooms are quite comfortable. The home cooked meals were delicious. There's a nice little yard with a badminton net, you can also play cricket here. Recommend this place for groups looking to have a quiet time outside the city. The weather was lovely when we visited.

beautiful stay, in case you want to be in the city. the place is situated right in the middle and close to all the touristy places. our intention from the trip was to relax with good authentic Kodava food( please check our Coorgcuisine, which is 5 minutes from the homestay) Monthi aunty is a wonderful host and treated us with the best and utmost sincere hospitality. The rooms are ultra clean and we can ask her for anything and she will help us out. the homestay itself has a beautiful garden and waking up to such beauty is wat one needs on a vacation. She has two dogs of her own, who are caged. we prefer dogs sleeping with us and we found that a bit difficult to digest. but then, it was her home and we couldn't say much. Overall, a good experience.

Punith's a jolly natured host and is very passionate about his bnb. The place is very quiet and safe, and is located in between coffee plantations, the experience is mind blowing, better go in a group and you'll be able to enjoy nice walk in the plantations, have a bonfire and the food is really good. I felt a bit pricey though. Overall it was a good experience.

Well, the stay at this property was good. Uncle and Aunty at the property were very supportive in all the ways and Inga helped us in every way to support us and ensure that we face less challenge while staying at her property. Overall, the place is in between Udupi and Mangaluru, hence, it was easily commutable.

Amazing place and wonderful surrounding. When it comes to food, it felt like home, Geetha cooked us amazing breakfast and dinner. In between a forest, with a serene quietness, this place is very good escape from city life.

Just Perfect. Peaceful location, in the midst of a coffee estate. The cottages were just as described and shown in the photos. Food was delicious, home cooked and based on our choice. The hosts extremely friendly, caring and were ready to help us with anything and recommended quite a few local places. Thanks to Poovika and Shiv for the warm hospitality. Keep up the great work.

Peaceful place to stay . Uncle and aunty who managed the property are very friendly. we loved the breakfast during our stay. i would highly recommend this place to people who wants to explore Mangalore and udupi.
