The house sits on 40 acres and is surrounded by National Forest. You are in the heart of the Black Hills while still close to all the must see sites.

Shepherd's Wagon #4 Near Mt Rushmore

Shepherds huts were originally built to shelter shepherds in remote grazing areas, these huts preserve the past while offering a cozy retreat. While you won’t be roughing it like the shepherds once did, you’ll still experience their way of life. Each hut includes a metal tub, once used for washing, storage, and feeding the herd, along with a mess kit, gas stove, composting toilet, and a port-a-potty for convenience. To add a modern touch, solar-powered lights brighten your stay.
