Casa de Campo was a fantastic stay for those looking to get away to somewhere quiet and connected with nature. Jeannie is a perfectionist, and it shows in her property. Everything was sparkling clean (by far the cleanest rooms I saw in my time traveling South America), the food was healthy, tasty and served with style, and the grounds are very well kept. The patio is beautiful, with hammocks, a table, and rocking chairs to relax and get out of the sun. Jeannie upgraded me to a better room than the one I booked for free, helped me book a day trip to nearby Cotocachi for shopping, and was helpful with anything else I needed. The horseback riding was a nice little activity to see more of the countryside, and it was nice taking morning walks around the nearby roads and lanes. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place as a relaxing getaway, and would be very happy to return.

We stayed at Hostería la Roulotte during the very busy holiday weekend of All Souls Day. What we didn’t know before booking was that seemingly all of Quito was also going to be in Mindo that weekend, so it was very busy in town and all over the valley. Despite all the traffic, it was comfortable and quiet at Roulotte. The cabañas (cabins) are super cute and cozy and they do have warm water for the showers, which is especially nice. There is a lovely central building where the restaurant and bar are located. It has several tables for eating or gathering and a nice lounge area as well. It’s also the best spot on the property for decent WiFi, as the signal, like the noise from the road, doesn’t carry very far in the middle of the cloud forest. On the property you can enjoy great food, lounge in the hammocks, or try not to get lost in the bamboo labyrinth. La Roulotte is within easy walking distance of the butterfly farm and a chair lift that you can take up to the top of the hill for a great view and some hiking. Ignacio and his family are wonderful hosts who put every effort into making sure their guests are very comfortable and happy. We highly recommend this guesthouse for a peaceful getaway.

A lovely homely stay with close proximity to the airport (definitely appreciated at 4am!). Loved the friendly dogs & cat. Although neither Isabel or mum were there to provide breakfast or meals, Francisco was really friendly & helpful & helped us massively by ordering then picking up pizza for us. He also very kindly took our laundry to a local laundrette (no washing machine for guest use on site) & booked a 4am taxi for us. Would definitely recommend & we would return if in Quito again 😊

Don’t hesitate to go Casa de Campo if you want to connect with the beauty of Cayambe; horses; a peaceful environment and a marvelous host. I’ve been in many places in Ecuador, Jeannie’s lodge is a jewel

Casa de Campo Cayambe is hands down one of the most amazing places I've ever stayed--whether in Ecuador or outside of Ecuador. Jeannie is an amazing host and her hospitality is fabulous. The location, the food, the view, the attention to detail and her lovely home make this an unforgettable and must-do experience!!

At Jeannie's place there will be rest and relaxation, great food, great service, a beautiful natural environment, wonderful hikes and horseback rides, a great support staff, a great view of the snow-capped Cayambe volcano (the highest point on the equator anywhere in the world - something to think about!), a beautiful well appointed room and beautiful common areas of a well-designed house, and extra surprise amenities that will enhance your enjoyment of the property.

Auberge calme et très bien située, entre ville nouvelle et ville ancienne. Très bon rapport qualité prix, calme et spacieux. L'accueil de Juan Carlos est adorable, serviable et généreux. A recommander.

The space is absolutely beautiful, gorgeous surroundings with a rustic feel. There’s a restaurant on site featuring wonderful, healthy, and locally sourced food. Ximena was a wonderful communicator and very responsive. They are a beautiful, kind, and friendly family. I loved the dog too.

Sí buscan un airbnb en Quito que es cerca de todo, ustedes tienen la oportunidad perfecta con Kathya. Nosotros pasamos 4 noches en total en su airbnb y todo fue super bien. La comunicación es rápido, amable y incluye todos los detailles para el check-in. Adémas la habitación estaba muy limpio y tiene todo lo que necesitas. Gracías Kathya para tu hospitalidad!!

Go there! The scenery is beautiful, the outdoor grill is amazing. The owners cousins were there when I arrived. I felt like family there between the owners family and employees. They actually take care of the large property. I think they should add more photos. I would go back in a minute. I think they are new to AIRBNB so some amenities may be confusing. I think this is very understandable. I showed pictures to my family and others told them all they should go. The outdoor wood fire grill definitely was so exiting!!! The thank them for everything
