Even though it was only an overnight stay it was very comfortable. Will definitely go back if ever that way again. Stephanie was great.

This latest trip was our 2nd time staying here. We truly love how private this location is. The dock and all the amenities provided make this such a special place to stay for families. Communication was always so fast and helpful! Would gladly stay here again, as already proven!

We enjoyed staying here. A quiet neighborhood, and comfortable home with plenty of room to spread out. The backyard offered a nice gathering area, and the grill was great for those of us living in an area where grilling isn’t allowed. Julie was quick to reply to our questions or concerns. I’d stay here again.

This is our second time staying in Julia’s home and I’m sure it won’t be the last. We stayed an entire week and relaxed as if we were home and we had all our needs met. Everything about her home is comfortable, clean and accommodating. The neighborhood is quiet and Julia is a responsive host. I appreciate the fact she puts effort into her home, the sheets, bedding and towels are all hotel quality or better. The way each room is decorated doesn’t go unnoticed and is appreciated.

In town for a bass tournament. Plenty of room for the three of us. Good place to park a bass boat which is important to me. Did not see outside power but was not an issue as we ran it out a window. Not much traffic on the street which is also a plus. Overall, great experience.

The place was great for a family lake trip with our younger boys. Well stocked, clean, and nice amenities for everyone. The hosts were incredibly responsive and on top of any questions or needs we sent their way.

Exactly as described and more. The kitchen was well appointed. Extra little thoughtful touches, coffee, creamer and sugar, plastic baggies, garbage bags etc. we didn’t have to run out for anything. The place was super clean. The bathroom also thought of every little detail. Loved the back porch! Sat out there in the mornings for coffee. Comfortable front room. Yard was beautiful. I can not say enough about how wonderful the cabin is, especially when looking to unplug, relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings as well as enjoying all the region has to offer. I’m in the area again… I’ll be staying here if available. Thank you David and Tracy for providing a wonderful home away from home as well as being kind and helpful host.

We have had the pleasure of staying in several of Alan’s properties in the Northport area during my daughter’s time at the University of Alabama and they have all been consistently clean and comfortable, well stocked, and well thought out. I know when we book one of Alan’s properties, I don’t have to worry about a thing! Such a nice feeling when you are traveling 10 hours or so from Oklahoma. We are able to relax and enjoy our time with family. Would book with Alan every time if we could!

We absolutely loved this place! The kids especially enjoyed the pool — it was a major highlight and made the trip even more fun. The home is secluded, which gave us peace and privacy, and the thoughtful touches throughout made it feel extra special. The bathroom was stunning, and the sauna was such a great bonus. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and just beautiful. Although we had to travel an hour to Huntsville for our activities, we didn’t mind the drive at all because we knew we were coming back to such a wonderful home. The host was incredibly accommodating and even allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this place — we’d definitely stay again!

Erin and Cory were quick to respond to all messages before and during our stay. The home was very clean and we enjoyed spending our nights there while in town for a baseball tournament. We also enjoyed the heated pool which was also clean and exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy lakeside retreat on Smith Lake! The house was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described in the listing. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning—sunrises and sunsets from the deck were a daily highlight. We loved having direct access to the water for swimming and kayaking, and the quiet, peaceful surroundings made for a truly relaxing escape. House was fantastic for our family trip. The large screened in porch was a great hangout space for our crew. The dock had plenty of space for all of our floats, chairs, coolers, etc. And, having the electrical hook-up for the boat was an added bonus! Jesse was super responsive anytime we had a question, and helped make our stay enjoyable!

We couldn’t have found a better place to stay for a long weekend. This little slice of heaven is perfect for anyone who wants a getaway! The house is so cool! Truly a treehouse experience. The deck was AWESOME for spending time on. We hiked, counted how many frogs we could find, kayaked, swam, and relaxed. William is an excellent host and so friendly. Will always recommend!
