Stunning cottage, very clean and tidy with a bonus of the hot tub which was easy enough to set up . Located in such a peaceful area with an easy and quick to drive into town.

Grace's house was a real treat! Nestled away in the trees overlooking the river made it feel so private and peaceful. The house itself was so cosy, clean and inviting but had plenty of space and different areas to relax. The grounds were amazing and the kids had a ball discovering the swings, hottub and reading shed. The whole place was magical and we were sad to leave. Grace was very responsive to any communication and made us feel so welcome. The house location was a great base for some of the stunning sights Donegal has to offer and we were very close to many beautiful sandy beaches. This house was the best airbnb we have ever stayed in! My partner, doggy and myself had an incredible time at Catrionas. We stayed for two nights and sat in both evenings and enjoyed the amenities. Catriona has three lovely dogs and so many cute farm animals - we were lucky enough to see baby bell as a 3 week old lamb. Most importantly Catriona was very accommodating of our dog who can be a bit funny (being very kind), she was a great host. Her place is the most perfect tranquil piece of heaven! Would recommend it to everyone :)

I’d highly recommend staying here! The place was amazing, with lots of amenities nearby. The views are incredible - the cabin and location look exactly like the photos. Peter was an excellent host and was extremely helpful, from providing help with the hot tub to giving a run down of all the local amenities and activities. We really enjoyed our time here (despite the relentless rain lol) and would definitely return for another stay.

The house is gorgeous and so cosy. Mairead was so friendly and helpful and we had a brilliant time. pics don't do it justice was a fab little retreat. absolutely recommend. Glenties is a lovely wee town too and locals were so friendly. had an amazing trip

We had a fantastic stay over the bank holidayweekend. Laura was a great host—friendly, helpful, and full of brilliant recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area. The cottage itself is cosy, comfortable, and really well equipped, with everything we needed. The views from the cottage are absolutely stunning, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax in the evenings after a day of exploring. We’ll definitely be back!

This place was perfection for us. It is blissfully quiet and peaceful. The hosts are very helpful and the home was spacious enough for us with 3 college-aged sons to spread out comfortably and have their own space. Visit Fanad Lighthouse, the tour is very good (the sunny blue skies helped), and the sea arch close by is spectacular. I wish we could have stayed longer.

6 weeks in Ireland and this was our favourite stay. We were met with a cosy fire and goodies. A welcome chat with Paddy every day and even more often with Jack the sheepdog. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings with so much to see. Paddy's was a real highlight.

Just back from a relaxing break and highly recommend this beautiful place. Noreen and Rory were lovely, down to earth people and i even got to cuddle Rory,s brother,s pet lamb! Our dogs had a blast too with a huge front garden and nearby forest walks and beaches. Will be back for sure. Thanks Noreen, Rory and Bruno their lovely sheepdog!

This was a beautiful home. everything you needed was there. House was spotless and clean. The views were beautiful from the house. Shop was just down the road so easy for getting the things we needed for staying at the house. We went to a pub which was a bit of a distance for walking but local taxi services were always on hand and local taxi numbers were available at the house on who to contact as well. All in all a beautiful place to stay and I would highly recommend this house and would go back to stay here if visiting Donegal again.

Our stay at the Caraig Cottage was everything we’d hoped for. It was cozy, warm, and relaxing and Sinead was a stellar host that went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable. The cottage itself was a stunning space of rustic beauty and serenity, which we would’ve been content with on its own, but the surrounding landscape took our experience to another level. We were immersed in the wild beauty of the mountains, lake, and blooming gardens by day and engulfed in an expansive canopy of twinkling stars by night. The experience was a true delight that left us feeling fully restored just when we needed it most. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay! The house is very well equipped with everything we needed to feel comfortable. The view is absolutely beautiful and the location is great. The host was very kind and always responded promptly to our messages. We were very satisfied with the experience and would definitely recommend it!

It was an amazing place view was amazing Sarah is very responsible and available every time all over good just some toiletries were missing like body wash and toothpaste but I am sure if I would have asked she might provide but was not staying longer so I ddnt bother her …overall very nice thank you 😊

We felt at home in Martel's cottage. It has everything a modern home needs. The bed is important for so many visitors, it is large and very comfortable and there is an en-suite shower room. Spring time might not always have the best weather, but watching the evening antics of the lambs behind the cottage is very funny. The cottage is easy to find, and is an area full of wonderful places to visit such as Florence Court (National Trust), Marble Arch Caves and Enniskillen Castle and town. There are many river walks in the neighbourhood and view points galore. You have a well equipped kitchen with a wonderful cooker. Enjoy your stay!

Had a fantastic stay with my wife and two kids. Beautiful views of the sea and the backside of Slieve League from the deck. Very clean and comfortable cottage. Hosts were very friendly and live right next door. Kilcar is down the street and has a gas station and convenience store. If you're looking to stay near Donegal with amazing views, this is the place!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our week long stay was. Both Mary and her husband were congenial and informative and answered all our questions. Mary’s knowledge of Donegal made our sightseeing so much better. We were able to visit beautiful and interesting spots along with places to stop and eat on her recommendation. We could not have asked for a better welcome, fresh baked soda bread with butter and raspberry jam was exactly what we needed when we arrived. I would recommend this lovely house for anyone. We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect—surrounded by beautiful hikes and just a short drive to several stunning beaches. Niamh and her family were super friendly, responsive, and full of great local recommendations. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a great base for south-western Donegal, look no further than Dan & Rosie's place. Ardara is brilliantly located to explore the Sliabh Liag cliffs, Glencolumbkille, Glengesh Pass and a whole host of beautiful beaches. (And any other tips Dan & Rosie will send your way.) The place itself is small but perfectly formed and it's got everything you need to cook meals at home (most probably you'll hit the town for food, though, as there's loads of nice places around). Thanks to a spell of beautiful weather, we particularly appreciated the lovely outdoor space and even had breakfast al fresco!

Its a lovely small cottage with all it needs like comfy beds, perfectly furnished kitchen and sitting area with a fire place. (it also has netflix but we didnt use- fireplace did a perfect job) - the house was warm - considering the howling wind outside and absolutely cosy. We were warmly welcomed and got a bottle of wine too. We had a wonderful time and would come back anytime again. Brideen is a wonderful host! The accommodations were just as advertised, clean, cozy and well appointed. Brideen was wonderful to work with very responsive and helpful. She made our stay in Donegal well worth our trip North from Galway!
