"Il nido" apartment in the heart of the historic center

Strategically located, you won't have to give up anything. The apartment is on the second floor of a building in the historic center of Luino, 50 meters from the port. It is surrounded by restaurants, pizzerias, bars and the historic Luino market that is held every Wednesday. The apartment is not large but very welcoming, perfect for hosting two people who want to spend a pleasant vacation. Upstairs is a sun terrace with lake view.

Quiet oasis in the wild valley

The house has been in our family for generations. The small apartment was expanded in the 70s and continuously renovated. The large garden is part of it and offers plenty of space for all kinds of things. It is nestled between Lake Maggiore and Monte Lema, on the edge of the village. The house is a good starting point for hikes in the green, untouched valley or for biking. By car, it's 10 minutes to the lake.

We had a really nice stay at the apartment. It was lovely, spacious and clean and the view from the balcony is lovely overlooking lake maggiore. Apartment is located in a tower block which itself is quite dated but fine. The pool is not heated so good in the summer but unfortunately due to the weather we weren’t able to use it, but it looked beautiful! Good location but I’d note you really do need a car as it’s located about 30 min walk into the town which is all uphill on the way back! Amelie was a really good host, very responsive and you get face to face check in and check out which was nice.

We had a lovely stay at the Susanne's apartment. Susanne was really helpful during check in and was flexible dor us to check in early which was greatl. The apartment was spotless and has everything you need. It was really spacious and had an amazing view of the lake - perfect for morning coffee's. It was also around a 20 min walk into Luino or a 5 minute drive. We had a great time and would happily come back in the future!

A great host, a beautiful rustico in a wonderful place. We were passing through with two children, we all would have liked to stay longer. Florent responded quickly to all requests, e.g. for a possibly earlier check-in. The furnishings are generous and the decor is cozy. In addition, it is very quiet and you can relax superbly. We will be happy to come back!

Our stay at Sharon’s place in Luino was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. It’s clear that she puts great care into both the home and the guest experience. The apartment itself was spotless—immaculately clean, beautifully appointed, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. It felt more like staying at a boutique retreat than a rental. The décor was tasteful, the space was comfortable, and every detail had been thoughtfully considered. Sharon was an exceptional host. She was easy to communicate with, quick to offer help or local tips, and genuinely kind. Her hospitality made us feel right at home. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. If you’re visiting Luino, don’t hesitate—book with Sharon. You’ll be glad you did.

Anita is a super host, she was really very precise in communications and allowed us to check in in an extremely flexible way. The apartment is magnificent, very large and cared for in every detail, very clean and practical. The apartment is located in a dream location, among hills and nature, flowers and plants of all kinds, in the open space there are 2 terraces from where you can admire an incredible view of the surrounding hills and a view of Lake Lugano. The stay, practically fantastic, I will definitely return. Thank you very much Anita.
