Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Cowichan Lake

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a girls weekend. The layout of the unit, the location, the decor and bathrooms were all great. Ubers were easy to get to and from the unit, and it made for a great homebase for us. My only gripe, if I had to find one was the fact that we needed to throw away our own trash at the end of our stay. The trash receptacles are all the way on the first floor behind several doors and a few long corridors, and because our flight was at 8am, we had to account for an extra 20 minutes to bring the trash down, bring our keys back up to the unit, and then head out. Otherwise, the views, location and comfort of the unit made for an excellent first visit in Vancouver.

Great place to stay! Clean, accessible, and Lucy was super helpful when our arrival plans got delayed.

Ervin’s place is in such a great neighborhood: right by the water, safe, a bunch of great restaurants, a 10min walk to public transport (direct connection to the airport), a parking spot in the parkade, and much more. The directions for check-in are easy to follow and the place is comfortable and clean! We can highly recommend staying here!

Cory is a wonderful host. His place and his hospitality were among the best we’ve encountered in Vancouver. Instructions were very clear for checkin making the experience easy. Cory was so generous with his space allowing us to feel very much at home. We’d love to return to stay at Cory’s listing in the future!

The apartment looks just like the pictures and is very well located. Hülya was always available to help us, and she kindly allowed us to store our luggage until the afternoon, which gave us the chance to enjoy our last day in Vancouver

Really liked my stay, host always responded and checked in, nice apartment very clean. Wish location was closer to shops and food ect, too many homeless people close to the location so weary of that but besides that I enjoyed my stay nice stay for 1-3 days. Clear instructions when checking in and out. I would give it 4.5/5 very enjoyable

This is a great place to stay to be next to downtown Victoria. It’s as advertised in the listing’s description and photos. There’s plenty of room for a couple and everything is in good condition. Washroom facilities, washer/dryer units, and wifi all worked well. We did not use any of the cooking appliances. The location is walkable to plenty of restaurants/bars in the area. We were comfortable and felt safe walking around at night; we did not have any issues with noise. Agata is a great host! Her instructions made check-in and check-out super easy. She responded within minutes anytime I messaged her. Overall, I would highly recommend this place, especially for couples, if you want to be next to downtown Victoria.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment in the heart of Yaletown, Vancouver! The space was clean, stylish, and exactly as pictured, but the real standout was the stunning view. Waking up to the city skyline and waterfront was such a treat. Everything was incredibly walkable with so many fantastic local restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques right outside the door. We were in town for a concert, and the location made the entire experience super convenient and fun. The host was friendly, responsive, and provided clear instructions that made check-in and check-out a breeze. You can tell they take pride in their space and in making sure guests have a great experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy Vancouver in style and comfort. Would absolutely stay again!

This was our first long trip with my child, and unfortunately, he wasn't feeling well when we arrived. The host kindly allowed us to check in early, and thanks to that flexibility, my child was able to get the rest he needed and recover enough to continue our trip. The suite was just like the photos—cozy, clean, and very comfortable. Everything we needed was within walking distance, which made our stay incredibly convenient. I would absolutely recommend this place to families or anyone looking for a relaxing, well-located stay in downtown Vancouver.

Great pool and gym, quiet corner of a busy street, walkable everywhere and most of all an incredible friendly host

Nelson’s place was fantastic! He goes above and beyond to make sure your check in is an easy one. I didn’t realize the location where you picked up the key was a distance away, but if you packed light you’ll be fine (9 minute walk). Thankfully the taxi waited for us and took us straight to his place. The views of the city are amazing and the location cannot be beat. I really hope I find myself back in Vancouver again so I can book his condo.

Davis place is clean and tidy. It is walkable to Chinatown attractions. It is also conveniently located beside a Skytrain station and a big Asian supermarket.

We had a great stay at Kuz’s place! Very convenient location and it had everything we needed for a 5 night stay.

Great spot! Daman addresed any messages quickly from check in to check out. Looked just like the photos, lots of closet space if you're booking for a longer stay, convenient location, safe parking, secure building entry.

Really great apartment. I loved the views from the living room and balcony. Location was perfect too, everything on the door step and 15 min walk to the creek.

Andrew’s place was a gem to find. Beautiful location with an ocean view, the house was perfect for us as two couples traveling together. Private and quiet, located close to downtown Parksville, we were very comfortable there and hope to be able to stay again! Andrew was a very pleasant and proactive host, and we have zero complaints.

I arrived to a vase of fresh picked flowers from the garden! It was a bright, beautiful space. As a single woman travelling, I was made to feel very safe in this home. Emily is an incredible host with a clean and quaint space. Will definitely be back! 💕💕💕💕

What a charming oasis! This was a great spot with a lovely garden, perfect for dogs and an easy walk (or very easy drive) to some interesting Vancouver sites, we loved it!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Very family friendly - we used the pack'n'play and highchair, as well as the beach toys provided! There were many "kids" cups and plates which made meal time a breeze. The fully enclosed deck was also nice for the kids to play on. There were a couple things that would be nice for a handyman to come work on (tightening up toilet seats/towel rods, etc.) but overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Our family of 5 plus our dog enjoyed our stay at Oceanside Escapes. Johanna and Julie were readily available to answer any questions that we had before and during our stay. The cabin was well-supplied and had a binder listing many local recommendations. It was a short walk to Rathtrevor Beach which we all enjoyed, particularly our dog. All essential amenities and many attractions were nearby. The central air conditioner was especially helpful in keeping the whole cabin cool during the hotter days. We will be back.

The pictures really don’t do justice to how perfect the view is here- it is amazing!! We saw humpback whales jumping not even 200 yards from the deck, truly amazing! Vahid is also a very great and communicative host. He made sure to let us know when wildlife was in the vicinity. Highly recommend a stay here!

We enjoyed every moment in Fred’s house. The ocean view was truly amazing. Communication was easy with prompt and helpful responses from Fred and his team.

We had a small group from work gather at April’s place and it was fantastic. So much space for us to spend time together. Everything was set up for us to have an amazing time: the pool was warm and so clean. There are tons of thoughtful touches in the home and the kitchen is incredibly stocked. It’s just a dream, we are so thankful! Our group wants to come back next year! Thank you!!!!
