Private suite holiday rentals in Cowichan Bay

the decor at the airbnb is very unique, not like any other Airbnb we have been to. The place was lovely and cozy! A good accessible accommodation for those who are visiting Victoria, BC!

This has to one of the best (if not the best) Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at! The suite and property truly exceeded our expectations and was the perfect relaxing and cozy home away from home to return to after a long day of exploring the island. The grounds of the property are stunning and very well maintained. Joanne and Tim were so hospitable, providing clear instructions on how to get there and a thorough list of local restaurants, cafes, and excursions to explore. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an extremely relaxing and zen stay on the island!

Eileen's apartment was fantastic! The apartment was well laid out, had everything one needed, bed was great and sofa was super comfy. I loved the fresh flowers in each room! The large south facing porch, overlooking her beautiful yard, lots of heather, with views of snow-clad mountains, seals and bald eagles was such a bonus! The area is quiet, great for walking, and yet close to grocery stores. Eileen was extremely responsive, very helpful, and a pleasure to meet. Most highly recommended!

Very clean, quiet, spacious, peaceful, and the hosts were very accommodating and friendly. The kitchen, bathroom and living room were fully equipped and stocked with what we needed. The beds were very clean and comfortable. Having a private BBQ and outdoor seating area and swing was also a nice bonus !! we saw tons of birds and deer that even came into the yard. very cool. The private suite is in a great location for visiting sooke, and a short drive to the beautiful Juan de fuca beaches and hikes. very great value for the place, we all agreed that we would stay here again!

Derek’s place was very clean and cozy. It was very welcoming and we felt like home when we stayed at his place. My family were very comfortable while staying there and Derek was also easy to communicate wiith. Overall we had a wonderful time.

I stayed here before and decided to come again with other travelling companions. The location is beautiful. The home is a beautiful space with everything we needed, including a wonderful view. With the big windows, we could see robins building their nest under the home’s balcony while also being able to watch eagles flying by over the water. Sharon was responsive with texting even though she was away during our stay. There is a nearby small commercial space with two food trucks serving excellent food if you want a respite from cooking. We could either choose to eat there before driving out of the area for the day, or to stop off for dinner on our way back. I highly recommend Sharon’s place if you are looking for a rural oceanside getaway.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Kelly’s suite by the sea! The space was even better than we expected - appears to be recently renovated with modern finishes, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Kelly was super responsive, helpful, and genuinely accommodating throughout our stay. The location was great, I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay!

Had a great time at Alicia’s place, clean comfy bed, big TV in the living room and beautiful surrounding outside! Will be back!

We have been very fortunate to have stayed in quite a few Airbnb places across Canada & this one is my favorite. The outstanding entry and gardens are just the beginning. Inside the accommodations are in an excellent layout and we felt very comfortable and pampered. Our hosts were so friendly and made sure we had the directions for whatever we wanted to do.

We had a beautiful few days at Madeleine‘s BnB! She visited once and made sure everything was fine. I really enjoyed chatting with her. We also loved sitting on the balcony :) I‘ve never seen a host providing as much devices, utensils, products etc. Everything we needed was there! Thank you for this great stay!

We had such an amazing stay at this lovely airbnb! The hosts were extremely fast at responding to any questions we had and so incredibly nice. They had a welcome basket for us when we arrived as well as a welcome basket for our dog (the sweetest little touch). The space was clean, private and beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a place to stay that feels like a home away from home.

Lisa and Gary were great hosts and their property is beautiful, especially the yard and views of the harbour. The suite is small but well-equipped and very bright. The highlights for us were enjoying the views from the hot tub and meeting Calvin the dog. Highly recommend staying here!

Sweet retreat is magic. It is extremely quiet and beautiful tucked into the mountainside. Do yourself a favour and book. It's amazing. The place is incredibly clean and set up well with everything needed for cooking. They set us up with extra for our baby and it was easy to baby proof the stairs for a kid newly on the move. So happy they are dog friendly, being able to have him on the island was great. the town is very dog friendly as well. can pretty much take them anywhere. Nice trails around the house too, and right out the door. Ganges is only ten minutes away which is perfect. There are also so many cool places on the way there. The brewery is walking distance and easy to grab a few beers on the way back to the house. I can't speak highly enough about this spot. Thank you Rebecca and Mark, we will see you again hopefully sooner than later. Also a must see is the chocolate shop and get some gelato because yum!!

Renee place is quite and peaceful. It is an interesting place with a lot of beautiful elements, artifacts, paintings, books and pictures. In the kitchen there were things thoughtfully placed. Renee was responsive and cooperative. Checkout was 10 am which we felt was early. Thankfully Renee accommodated with an hour. We had a short stay but overall liked our stay in this house.

Had a wonderful stay at Kelly and Ryan’s place – wonderful hosts and a wonderful spot. The sunrise was unbeatable from the deck, and the place was very quiet! Would definitely stay again on another trip back to Salt Spring.

A very gorgeous, private location. A very short drive away to town and many hiking trails, lakes, and fun things to do. The host respected my privacy, but answered any request I had promptly. The hot tub was a wonderful thing to have at the end of a long day. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Saltspring Island! Thank you for having me.

I had a great stay! The listing (including the view) was just as described and Laura and Thomas were very responsive and friendly. They also had lots of great recommendations that really enhanced my stay. I would book again in a heartbeat!

We had a great 3-night stay at Bonnie and Dave's place. We enjoyed the peaceful rural setting, the hot tub, and the outdoor fire pit. Bonnie and Dave even let us put up our tent in front of the Airbnb, so that my husband and son could have a bit of a "camping" experience--something our son had wanted to do all summer. The kitchen was well-equipped for making family meals, and we appreciated Bonnie's freshly baked muffins, eggs, and other food she left for us. The location of the Airbnb worked well for a fun day trip to Salt Spring Island via the Crofton ferry, being only a 15-20 minute drive from Crofton, and it was only about a 40-minute drive from the Kinsol Trestle section of the Cowichan Valley Trail, which we enjoyed biking along. Bonnie, Dave, and their dog, Sawyer, were away during our stay, so we didn't get to meet them on this visit, but they were always prompt, helpful, and friendly with all their communications. Thanks again for a great stay, Bonnie and Dave!

I stayed for a long birthday weekend with my best friends. I just wanted to read on the deck but we spent a fair amount of time enjoying the birds and the lovely view of the mountain tops. Host decorated the home with little signs to welcome you and an instruction manual. Host offered e-bikes which I loved the option but we didn’t end up using them. Host was also very nice with oddly put questions and making sure we got all the information needed, they also always checked in when we walked past them!

I booked Cassandra's place for one of our employees and her family while she was working in the area, and it was a great choice. She mentioned that she met the host while arriving and that she was very helpful in getting inside and very friendly as well. The space was clean, peaceful, and had everything they needed for a comfortable stay. The host even left some snacks and a list of local recommendations, which made a great impression to her and her family. They felt completely at home. Highly recommend this listing!
