Doug’s place was a welcome retreat for our extended family for Thanksgiving 2024. We had seven adults and 6 kids - all had an amazing time. Here are some things we really liked about Doug’s place: 1. The kitchen was spacious and squeaky clean. There were loads of appliances and helpful kitchen tools to use. Our family was able to prepare our entire Thanksgiving meal in the bright, spacious, and well-equipped space. 2. The huge dining room table easily fit our large party. We loved the dark wood and the contemporary benches to complement our holiday feast. There was also additional seating at the kitchen bar. Lots of room to entertain. 3. The kids, aged 8-16, loved playing in the basement game room. Pool, foosball, basketball, and a large device-compatible screen. The television also has many streaming services. Lots of seating and sports for lounging. The six kids loved it. 4. The hot tub was a nice touch on the cool days and nights. The tub could hold 8 adults easily. Fun times!

We take a family vacation every year and this was our favorite place we've stayed. Everything about it was perfect for us. Secluded but two minutes from everything. The house was beautiful and clean; lots of room for everyone. The basement was perfect for the kids. I cannot say enough about how wonderful of a stay this was. The host was great, too!

Absolutely beautiful home and the view is breathtaking. Our son enjoyed the outdoor game and we all enjoyed the hot tub. I would stay here every single time we are in the area. Thank you for hosting our family.

A lovely home with rocking chairs on the deck and enclosed porch, a large kitchen, streaming television, comfortable beds, and plenty of bathrooms. One of those rare locations at which pets are welcome. Great place for a multi-family getaway!

Catherine was amazing & her home was absolutely beautiful! We loved the pool & the covered back deck. We greatly appreciated that the direct access to the pool had gates to prevent our 15 month old from walking straight for the open water. Our 15 month old loved that there were two little lawn chairs available in her size too! As soon as you walk in you're met with a fresh, clean, & comforting ambiance. The house also smelt absolutely amazing (& not too overpowering either). Although the home is about 40 mins from Branson, we found it incredibly relaxing to step away from all the hustle & bustle from Branson & enjoy a nice grill & swim privately at her home. There is a Dollar General, Gas Station & a Cafe within about 5-8 minutes from Catherine's home as well so there's no need to run 40mins into Branson if you forgot something for dinner. Overall, we'd absolutely stay again & encourage anyone wishing to go for a fish/boat ride at the lake nearby or head into Branson to stay as well!

Great property with a great view! This property was furnished better than most other properties I have rented. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful property, great location, and wonderful property managers. This place is beautiful, peaceful, and plenty of options for 2 people or families. Loved the lake access with dock, pool, and game room. Will definitely book here again.

Loved this place. It is a very old house but it was perfect for us. Plenty of space and so cute! The host had the air and lights turned on for us since we were arriving later in the evening. Would definitely stay here again.

great stay, lots of space

We had such a nice time staying here. It’s a large, lovely place with a big deck to take in the sunsets. We were lucky enough to watch the eclipse from the lawn, a once in a lifetime event! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a lake escape.

Our family had such a fun long weekend in Cotter! Brock and Amanda’s place is in an ideal location and perfect size for our family of 4. We’d love to be able to stay there again.

We loved everything about this home! It was incredibly clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The host was very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The location is great-close to Tracy Marina and just a short drive into town. One of the highlights for our family was the game room-the kids absolutely loved it! We highly recommend this home to anyone considering a stay in the area. You won't be disappointed! We plan on staying here again in the future.

Hands down the best host we’ve had for Airbnb. The house came with everything you could think of and even offered a steam room! If anything was missing, Michelle was quick to respond and very attentive to everyone’s needs. They provided flexible checkin/ checkout times for us that were very much appreciated. I can’t say enough great things about this place. We definitely plan on coming back. 5+ stars!

Pleasant rainy Memorial weekend spent on the property. Clouds cleared long enough to roast some marshmallows. The property was comfortable and had all the amenities I needed for the weekend. I had everything I needed to prepare meals and keep myself occupied in comfort. It is on a busy road and both apple and google maps put me in the wrong spot, it’s a few miles from the town and coming from Mountain Home it’s just past the antique store on the left side in some trees. It was the only A frame house I saw on that road.

my stay was overall a 10/10. quiet, comfortable, affordable and overall lovely. it’s a nice cabin with updated amenities and lots of room. i would recommend this place to anyone staying in that area. it’s right off the lake which is so beautiful. i actually saw a deer in the front yard! i was stay here again and again.

Cabin 5 was exactly as described. Sammy and Nancy were very helpful, responsive and was sure to give us a heads up for the recent fishing report that was great! Would definitely recommend staying here! The dock is a huge plus for people with boats and the location couldn’t be better!

Nicole’s place is absolutely wonderful—just as described! We arrived ahead of schedule due to weather, and she kindly allowed us to check in early. We were greeted with a freshly baked loaf of sourdough—literally coming out of the oven as we walked in! All the thoughtful little touches made our stay incredibly comfortable and truly felt like a home away from home. She even stocked the fridge with a dozen farm-fresh eggs! We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend the cottage and the amazing hosts!

Very clean and peaceful place to getaway. It is in close proximity to the Lake and fishing. We would definitely go back!

We enjoyed our stay and especially loved the screened in porch. Watching the river flow by and listening to the various birds was the perfect way to begin and end each day-so relaxing!

Description and pics matched the listing. We did stay during a week of bad weather. We used the garage with the concrete slab as a place of shelter during the tornado sightings and big storms over us. Afterward, sleep was the highlight. All of the adrenaline from storm preparations and warnings made the body and brain tired. Slept very well and pulled out the next day as, it was the end of our stay. Would highly recommend Harvey’s place.

Very beautiful home. Great fishing right behind the house. Tommy and Kim have done a great job to make this place extremely inviting. I will be coming back.
