Farmstay holiday rentals in Cotswolds

The photos don't do justice to the beautiful cottage and the lovely views from both the living room as well as the bedroom. The place offered lots of privacy with well kept garden around the cottage for our use. It comes with all amenities as exactly as described and was a perfect place to be away to unwind and be with the nature. The other big benefit is that it is located centrally to most of the attractions or places of interest within the Cotswolds area. So you can venture to any of those areas and be back to rest and relax at this beautiful place. We really enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend this place if you are planning to visit Cotswolds area.

Faultless stay. Beautiful setting in the heart of the Cotswolds. Within 20 minutes of all the typical tourist attractions. The grounds themselves are beautifully done with great dedicated areas for dogs to roam in an enclosed field as well as smaller gardens attached to each cottage for them. The Padel courts were brilliant quality and the tennis courts were great also. Friendly staff on site and we hope to come back with a bigger group of friends in the future!

Fantastic little place in a great location. Very clean and had everything we needed. The host was very helpful and polite. This place was a very quiet and peaceful. Perfect setting to go and explore. Had a great time thank you.

Quiet, secluded, peaceful surroundings, spacious & comfortable accommodations. Can see why the Hen House consistently ranks as a top choice & A-bnb favorite. The Hen House has certainly become our favorite. Nicki & Johnny are fabulous hosts, considerate of guests' comfort & privacy. We were able to enjoy the meadow, long walks along the country roads, some fun table tennis, & quiet reading under the shade trees. A favorite time of day was having breakfast at the patio table just outside the door to the hen house, save a day or two, we had great weather for it. Wifi is excellent. Neil works remotely & never had a dropped conference call. There's plenty of games & DVDs for the rainy days; & the house is equipped with all the tools you'll need to keep it clean/tidy. I only wish I knew how to play the piano. I would have played a few tunes. If you enjoy birding, you'll love the birdsong & the birds that visit the garden, glorious. Truly a wonderful place to stay, enjoy & relax. Gracias!

exactly as advertised. stunning location with walks basically on your doorstep. peace and quiet guaranteed, even the sheep across the road don't make a sound.

Sarah’s cottage was just perfect and the view of her house and garden as we sat outside was peaceful and beautiful. We had everything we needed for our stay - a nicely functioning kitchen, comfortable bed and modern shower. Everything was clean and of good quality. We were close to many lovely places in the Cotswolds and the village was quiet for peaceful sleep. Sarah was readily available if we needed anything but respected our privacy at other times.

Highly recommend! I had a very comfortable stay and loved the views. Karen's place was spotless and she was great with communication. I would definitely be back.

The Shepherds Hut was amazing, so cozy, clean and comfortable. Trish has thought of everything. The table and benches turn in to the bed base, with space underneath to store your bags. The bed was really comfortable and we both had a great nights sleep. The shower was great, towels provided. It's in a really quiet location and we had the added pleasure of seeing a glorious peacock on our arrival ! Trish is a really great host, lots of attention to detail such as: fresh free range eggs, cans of gin and tonic, chocolate biscuits, milk and a bottle of cold water in the fridge. Plus marshmallows for melting by a fire and a jar of sweets. Games to play, a folder with details of local pubs (all dog friendly), maps for local walks and booklets of places to visit. We recommend the Red Lion at Castle Eaton, a really friendly and welcoming pub, with very tasty food. We really enjoyed our weekend, so much to do and right in the heart of the Cotswolds. My partner and I loved our brief stay. The walk down to the village was lovely, the place was exactly what we needed, & we even got some fresh biscuits on arrival. Would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here for a portion of an overall longer trip. This was by far our favorite stay. A beautiful place just as described, with easy access to the surrounding community. We will be back if we get the chance.

What a lovely place to stay. Simon met us on arrival and showed us around also giving us some tips on the local area with Blenheim Palace only an hour away and also Diddly Squat is 30 minutes or so away but was mobbed. Very unexpected welcoming pack of milk, biscuits and croissants were in our accommodation and the bed was so big and comfortable that we slept very well. All in all beautiful place with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Would recommend and if we were back this way would definitely stay here again. Gary & Michelle

It’s a great location for kids as they have a very nice field right in front of the house. House is kept top notch with very clean bed sheets.

Amazing 2 night stay!! Super easy to find and in a nice and private location with really good local food restaurants. The hut was clean and provided everything we needed to cook when we wanted to as well as a nice relaxing garden space where we could hear the local chickens, horses and sheep. Georgina also gave us some amazing recommendations which we made good use of during our stay!! Check In was super quick and easy! Short walk from a great pub / restaurant called the Fox at Oddington where we ate on our second night. Overall, great stay. Highly recommend

What a wonderful time we had on our honeymoon. Sarah was an incredible host and we had such a warm welcome. Once checked in Sarah was available via text but left us to enjoy our time. The house was really clean and beautifully decorated, it has everything we needed and we were able to cook in the lovely kitchen. There was lots to do around the area including national trusts and plenty of dog walks. The garden and hot tub were bliss and we really felt as though we were on a luxury break. The bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and very comfortable, and the brightness in the front room and kitchen was so beautiful. We would absolutely return and loved meeting Sarah, would highly recommend this air b&b. It was perfect in every way!

Had a great stay at The Fold recently. The cottage had everything we needed and the location is perfect for exploring the Cotswold. Our daughter loved being on the farm and especially the dogs that came to say hello every morning!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with freshly baked bread and a thoughtful basket of goodies — such a personal and generous touch. The space itself was beautiful, cozy, and spotless, with every detail carefully considered. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was our hostess. She was incredibly kind and welcoming — warm, helpful, and genuinely caring. It’s clear she puts her heart into making her guests feel completely at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Piggery for our 'mini-moon'. The accommodation had everything we needed and was a great space. We loved the outdoor area that we had and the stunning views. Miranda was a great host, and even left us fresh homemade bread and prosecco for us to celebrate! Highly recommend and is a real hidden gem on the outskirts of the Cotswolds.

Hi Stan and Judy, it was an absolute pleasure to return to your lovely annexe having stayed there about 6 months ago. It was so comfortable and homely, you made us feel so welcome. It was lovely to be able to share your beautiful garden and discover the history of your house. Highly recommended. This is our second visit. The apartment is very clean, well appointed and set in beautiful, well kept gardens. We enjoyed being able to walk our little dog in the private field/paddock at the rear of the property with lovely views of the surrounding fields and countryside. Well worth a visit and Steve is a very welcoming host.

We have chosen this location purely to experience countryside lifestyle. The set-up of the house and the appearance made us very comfortable and welcoming. House was well furnished and equipped. Garden was complementing too. All the instructions in the guest book was very clear and useful. There was no need to contact the host to clarify any issues for during entire stay. The prompt responses form the host and her hospitality was great. Very happy to recommend this property and I am happy to book this again.

A beautiful hidden gem in the Cotswolds countryside! You can get more peaceful and relaxing than this! A lovely cake on arrival, clean fresh bedding and towels. Everything you need in the kitchen. A lovely little courtyard and dog friendly. We had an amazing 2 night stay for my birthday. Finding the games, Scrabble and connect four gave us a few giggles. Lovely walks around the area... I highly recommend this beautiful converted barn / mill house. It has everything you need from toiletries to blankets and fans if it's hot to logs if it's cold. We would be back in a heartbeat 💓 thank you Valerie & Marcus!

Clive’s pre stay communications were clear and timely. Check in was exactly as described and parking a breeze adjacent to the stable. Clive & Ann’s lovely converted stable is wonderful inside and out. With a so much attention to detail for a perfect stay and high quality fixtures and fittings. Plus all we needed for our breakfast; Homemade wholemeal bread, yogurts, cereals, milk, juice, butter, jam and marmalade and Tea, coffee and lovely biscuits! The surroundings are splendid, like having your own slice of Cotswold countryside right on your doorstep. With the huge added bonus of three lovely pubs within a 5-10 leisurely stroll into Mickleton. We will be back!!
