I am afraid I cannot express sufficiently fairly how amazing our stay at Casa da Cruz Alta was. The house is absolutely wonderful, comfortable, cosy; the heating, the soundproofing, the equipment, the details, everything perfect! Not only did we have everything we needed as the extras and the surprises were so many that our stay couldn't have been more complete. The owners are super friendly and attentive, being obvious the taste they have in receiving well and providing a great experience. The breakfast left daily was to cry for more. Thanks so much for everything, we will certainly return!

A beautiful house in a great location with a wonderful view from the terrace, with a very nice natural pool, but a bit cold because of the constantly fresh water. The neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming. We were a bit unlucky because of the wildfires. So we had to leave 2 days early to be sure to get to the airport and catch our plane. Irene was very friendly and open hearted and took great care of the house and pool. We can fully recommend this villa.

The house was exactly like the photographs. From the moment of booking to check-out, D. Adelaide was an excellent host, always available and attentive. The amenities were very comfortable and every corner of the house surprised us with positive details, thought out in detail to ensure the well-being and comfort of all. The reception by D. Gloria was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the welcome cake... was simply divine! Without a doubt, an experience to repeat.

Linhares da Beira and the surrounding area is a beautiful place to visit. The villa is perfect- well worth the money spent! Comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. We braved the pool even though the weather was a bit cold for the time of year. Thanks to Linda and Helena for everything.

Hello Mr. Pedro! We would like to thank you for all the hospitality during our stay at your accommodation in Póvoa Dão. We were delighted with the space – it's quiet, well cared for and the pool was a real luxury in these hot days! It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog Escobar, who also loved the environment and the outdoor space. It is increasingly rare to find such beautiful places that accept animals so naturally. That made all the difference! We really feel at home and very well received and relaxed. We will recommend it and will undoubtedly return at the next opportunity! Many thanks for everything! Perfect place to relax and unwind …in the country when visiting Monsanto…,great AC,comfortable bed and everything you need in the kitchen…grocery store is about 20 minute drive and no restaurants around so best to plan ahead for food… there is a nice charcoal BBQ a on the premises with everything you need to BBQ….there is a small store for water ,pop ect a five minute walk..Cecília brought some fresh cherries from her parents farm and had delicious peach jam on the table….would highly recommended…

It was a very nice cottage, small, but everything was in good material, nice shower, nicely decorated with nice wood details. We slept wonderfully with the windows open and the sound of the river, otherwise it was completely quiet at night. Outside nice terraces, wonderfully seated with our feet in the river, a fantastic environment, completely unobstructed views at the back of the house and a lovely hamlet. We walked every day for half an hour to Gois, a beautiful village with river and delicious pastries at the paladeria. We thought it was very nice!

My two friends and I absolutely loved Joao's place! It is one of the most unique airbnbs we have ever stayed in, built on the side of a mountain with a fabulous view off the balcony. It was comfortable and quiet. The town of Monsanto is also incredibly beautiful and unique and everything is in walking distance. I would love to return to Monsanto and would definitely stay in Joao's place again.

Alexandra has a very comfortable, clean, and inviting home. She was there for a meet and greet. The place is nestled in the mountains, the lodging offered the rustic charm and comfort; the best part was the cherry tree in the back yard, the host was so kind and at night our family picking directly from the tree - my 6 old son loved it!

The house was very clean and corresponds exactly to what is shown in the advertisement and photographs. Communication with Inês was always quick and effective. Check-in is simple, fast and autonomous. Check-out until 10 pm is a great added value. The location is good, in a calm and quiet area. Very positive experience, I recommend it!

Perfect stay!

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

Perfect house to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and escape the routine. You can do your grocery shopping in the village and you don't even have to leave the house, you have everything you need to spend a good few days. Super quiet place, you can hear the stream, the birds, surrounded by nature. The house even seems to be ours, it doesn't give that rented house feeling, very comfortable, well decorated, and with all the essentials. Paula and Luís were great hosts, always in touch to give us directions on how to get there, points of interest and left us at ease to get in touch whenever necessary. Can't wait next time!

It is a wonderful space to enjoy as a family. Well-equipped kitchen. House with entertainment for children. A good barbecue area. The nature around the accommodation is incredible. A true haven.

Very flexible check-in/-out. Quiet location that lets you walk right into Piódão. The place is small but makes good use of the space and had everything we needed. Very cute place!

Simon and Sue make sure you will feel welcome in their place. Everything was as expected and advertised and the little details make the place feel more like a second home than a rental spot. The surroundings invite you to explore but the amenities, specially the jacuzzi, also ask you to stay and enjoy.

Rustic House in a quiet village at the gates of Fundão. We really like the fireplace. The only least positive point: clean between the cushions of the sff couch. Otherwise, nothing to point out
