Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Corbridge

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at this excellent cottage. The property was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The location is fantastic—peaceful, yet conveniently situated for exploring the surrounding area. The only minor suggestion we have is that a name or sign on the property would make it easier to locate on arrival. Aside from that, everything was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to returning soon! Highly recommended.

It is a really nice place to stay, lovely private garden and watching the birds on the bird feeder was amazing, I counted over 10 different species! The beds & pillows were excellent and my daughter & I slept really well. Excellent Airbnb

Oriel House was stunning! One of the best places we have stayed in. It was spacious, well equipped, very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Bedding and towels were super clean. Opening the curtains in the morning from the main bedroom to a beautiful castle was so lovely. Walking distance to a shop, pubs and the beach. Grace was a great host, she replied very quickly and gave information/recommendations and the welcome treat on arrival was a lovely touch. We didn’t want to leave Oriel House as we had a fab time. Definitely recommend Oriel House and Northumberland. ❤️❤️

Wendy was a great host and made sure we had the relevant information as we needed it and checked all was well when we got to Rose Cottage. The cottage looked just like the photos and the description was spot on. We found it very comfortable, well decorated and furnished and very clean. It is a 15 minute down hill walk into the city. We preferred to get a taxi back up the hill which was easy because there are several taxi ranks in the city. The parking permit was brilliant and once we parked on the road outside the cottage we didn't move the car until we left. There was plenty to do in Durham. We particularly enjoyed eating Sunday lunch at Isla but you do need to prebook. I can highly recommend Rose Cottage when in Durham.

My sister and I had a fabulous few days at Pondicherry house. The weather was very kind to us which meant we could eat outside and watch the (many) birds and admire the view across the Coquet valley. We did some local walks and went to Warkworth castle, which gave some shade on a very hot day. Later on a storm came up; we were lucky to be off the beach by then and sheltered in the fantastic station bookshop in Alnwick. What a trip!

One of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. Clean, extremely comfortable with everything you could need and lots of little extra touches. Great for the dogs with secure garden and loads of beach walks a short drive away and a really nice long loop walk around nearby fields right from the door. You really feel at home and we had an amazing week. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you

A lovely cottage to stay in. Easily accessible & lots of shops, bars & restaurants close by. Everything was as stated when we booked the cottage & we were very happy with the accommodation. Anna even left us milk & nibbles for our arrival, which was most appreciated. Family have moved close to the cottage so hopefully if we visit again we will try to book Puddlers Cottage again. A lovely place to stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay while we visited family in the area. All facilities that you could need. Peaceful location. Lovely garden and outdoor seating area. Great for my mother who can be challenging with mobility. Stairs have bannisters and helpful sensor lights if you need to be up in be night. Couldn’t fault it

Absolutely loved my stay here! The place is beautifully decorated with so much character—stylish, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Super friendly and welcoming, with incredible local knowledge that totally upgraded my trip. From hidden gems to the best spots to eat and explore, their tips made all the difference. Gorgeous, stylish and comfortable flat in a great location for exploring the city. Everything has been thought about: the interior design, the kitchen equipment, the parking permits and the coffee pods, and everything was comfortable and stress free. Spotlessly clean, impeccable comms and a really friendly welcome. There is some road noise, so if you're not normally a city dweller, you could be disturbed. Wasn't a problem for us - highly recommend.

Nice quiet area, flat was spotless Linda was very friendly and helpful, near the Metro station so easy to get into Newcastle City centre, really nice stay.

Our fifth visit to the Nook, Chris & Karen are superb hosts. The Nook is an ideal location for us when travelling to the area, the accommodation is perfect, very clean and tidy with a very modern feel Would recommend the Nook and its hosts very highly and the location is stunning.

We are just home from a great stay at Neil’s place ., the apartment was as advertised. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. There was lots of room for our group of 5 friends . The living area was especially spacious, we loved it. Location wise it is only 5 mins walk from the train station where you can get a metro to the airport or taxi. No need for a car. Really centrally located in the city centre near all shops restaurants etc. We were in town for a concert in the Utilita Arena which was only a 10 min walk. Neil was very friendly and helpful with all our questions and needs to make this a great stay. We will stay again next time we are in Newcastle . 5 stars !

Very nice and clean apartment, all amenities provided for a 4 night stay, 10min walk into Alnwick, an even better 3min walk to Lidl, free parking in the streets at the back and a responsive host. We would stay again.
