Fabulous house, spotless clean, everything you need for a short or long stay in Whitianga. The view is amazing from the house, it’s a lovely walk into town and a short drive to most of the tourist spots in the area, Clive is a great host, we would definitely recommend this property

The apartment is spacious and modern with stunning views over the marina. It is well equipped with everything you could need. We received clear instructions making it easy to find and access the property. We had a very enjoyable few days exploring the beautiful coastline around Whitianga.

We had an amazing stay at David and Sue’s. Everything was as described. Such a spacious yet homely feel with absolutely everything we could want. David was very approachable and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here. Would love to return

Great spot to be able to park the car and walk everywhere. Kids enjoyed being able to use the pool and spa especially as too cold to swim in the ocean. Apartment had a nice view and was clean and tidy. It would of been nice to have a few more basics in the kitchen like paper towels, baking paper to line trays etc but otherwise kitchen had everything we needed. Loved our stay. Very relaxing.

We were looking for a beach property to just wind down for a few days, and we certainly found it. The photos of Robert and Maranda's place on Airbnb say it all, but once you get there, its the 'sound' of the beach that sealed it for us. We simply dropped our bags and went for a walk on the beach. Greeted the next day with an amazing sunrise, right from the door !! Great set up and layout inside. Really comfortable. It just worked for us, and as silly as it sounds, the little night light in the bathroom is brilliant ! Everything local ( shops, cafes, restaurants) is all within easy reach. Robert & Maranda's place is in a great location, with the beach side town of Whangamata a short walk behind you, and that awesome beach & bay right in front of you. Lastly, Robert, cheers for the tip for a great meal out on a Wed night !

We absolutely loved our long weekend at the great escape Whitianga, the house had everything we needed for a fun relaxing family weekend away. The house was absolutely spotless and the beds were super comfy and everything was so well set up for all that we needed! Nice private backyard for the kids to play and the spa was lovely in the cooler evenings. We can’t wait to come back!

The views from the balcony across the bay were spectacular. Lynne was helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our visit and also recommend doing the Driving creek pottery narrow gauge rail ride. The train ride was amazing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The setting is absolutely stunning - with a view over the ocean, falling asleep listening to ocean waves, the wonderful sandy beach just steps away, other beaches just a short drive away, great restaurant and coffee cafe nearby, incredible views and such friendly people wherever we went. We were rather sad to leave and would come back in a heartbeat. Our hosts patiently answered all our questions, made great recommendations, and through the generous use of some boogie boards, our adult children got to fulfill a "dream" of "surfing" (sort of) in NZ!

Absolutely love this place. We such had a beautiful relaxing stay. Such a stunning home!

27 Banks Road Cooks Beach is a lovely 3 bedroom cottage right on the most amazing beach. The house is clad throughout in beautiful polished pine wood. New bed linen and towels which were of high quality were really appreciated and made for a very comfortable 2 nights. We had a couple of issues when we arrived, but Sarah responded instantly and resolved everything perfectly. If you are looking for somewhere to stay whilst visiting the Coromandel Peninsula, which is a must if you are touring the North Island, we can definitely recommend this property

This was a fantastic stay. Tina’s place is wonderfully situated. While there are a lot of visitors in the area, the property feels private and peaceful. The walk to the beach couldn’t be easier. This place is definitely large/roomy for two people but we didn’t mind! We hope to be back— thank you, Tina!
