Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Concan

The place was everything we had hoped for and then some. Everything was so well thought out, tidy, and well-appointed. Fantastic entertaining areas with tons of seating. Quiet, private and gated. It really felt like home. There were a few household items we forgot to bring, but they were already there. There is also covered parking! Easy river access - stone steps even the little kids could easily navigate and no crowds to hassle with. There was a stone patio with a table and chairs by the water's edge and the expansive area along the riverbank is gorgeous. We had 8 kids from infant to pre-teen and all had a blast - swimming, bicycling, hot tubbing, playing pool and yard games. Plenty of room for our large vehicles and UTV trailer. Owners are very helpful and are ready answer questions or address any issues immediately. Definitely a return trip in our future!

We enjoyed our stay there. This was the second time we stayed at thus place. This is a very nice, quite and private place. Very close to the river. This is not a waterfront property, the river is across the street at a very short walk.

Oh my goodness! This is one of our favorite stays ever! My husband and I love to go somewhere quiet where we can just enjoy our time with the littles and each other. Well this hit the nail on the head for everything we wanted. The location and the river were incredible. The water was sooo pretty and was not too deep where the house is. However, there are many deeper, cool swimming holes on the trails that we enjoyed too. The house is a quaint little cabin that is perfect for where it is. Our little kids had so much fun in every aspect. We floated, hiked, snorkeled, fish, and swam swam swam! It’s near a little town but don’t expect a lot of people or anything. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place this is the spot. Alan was amazing and communicated everything we needed to know. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

This place absolutely exceeded all our expectations! The cabins were fantastic, and the sunset views from the hot tub were truly unforgettable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, the living room offered plenty of space to relax, and the beds were very comfortable. The host was exceptional—responsive, easy to work with, and made sure we had everything we needed for an amazing trip. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house and deck were so Nice. Seeing the deer every morning and evening was such a treat. The massage chair was awesome. The hosts answered all questions quickly and were always kind and helpful. We hope to return in the Fall. Thank y’all for everything

We loved every minute that we spent here, gorgeous barely begins to describe it! Our kids loved everything from the treasure hunt to swimming and just enjoying the outdoors. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, I could’ve stayed there forever……….lol

We had an amazing time at this house in Kerrville. The photographs of this house just don’t do it justice - It’s even better in person. The location is 10 minutes max from town and has the most lovely views from the backyard. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals from scratch- probably the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in a vacation rental. The beds are very comfortable. The living space was roomy and had such interesting artwork. The back porch was a delight to sit out on any time of day. The pool was a little chilly the weekend we were there but that’s just because a big storm system had gone through the night before. We still had a fun afternoon in the pool. If you are not there in the height of summer and want to swim, you might want to consider paying to heat the pool- but remember that you need to do that in advance. We would highly recommend this rental home and hope to return.

The house is nice and cozy. you immediately feel at home, the lake is very low. there's no way to swim in it. if you're looking to walk around and have a hiking adventure then you're in luck at Pebble Creek Park. there's nice restaurants and bars and around Dollar general is about 4. Melissa has great communication skills, we really enjoyed the pool that has a gazebo over the top of it and a barbecue pit right next to it. overall we had an amazing time, it was quiet and we were able to hang out, relax and have a great time. they had plenty of supplies inside for us as well. as in towels, toilet paper, soaps and etc. Overall, it was very worth it

This place is one of the prettiest places I have ever been too! So peaceful and quiet. You feel like you have this whole place to yourself. The sunsets were stunning! I can’t wait to go back.

I decided to do a mini staycation. So I wanted a place with a pool and large yard so we could just hang out for a couple of days. Huasong’s place was perfect! Everything listed was accurate. Bonus, pool came with floats & floating volleyball net and basketball hoop already inflated! We used the fire pit to make s’mores! It was great having a bbq pit to use. The kids enjoyed the air hockey and mini golf. There is also workout equipment in garage. What it doesn’t have are tv’s in the bedrooms, but that might be a good thing!

Tabita’s home was truly a “home away from home” for us during our stay this week for our son’s BMT graduation. Though the pictures were great, in person, the property is truly outstanding! All bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas are open, spacious and really accommodated our large family gathering. We appreciated the setup of the home such that almost every bedroom had a private bathroom. This allowed everyone a bit of quiet privacy in the morning and evening and helped in getting ready for our early mornings at Lackland AFB. The kitchen was pristine and well-equipped. We made all our meals here instead of visiting restaurants with our large group. We were able to cook, bake, grill and clean up with ease! Plenty of seating, extra linens, board games, ping pong, and a beautiful outdoor space were all amenities that our family was very thankful for! Our family has already been asking if we plan to rebook when our youngest son goes through BMT! Thanks for the hospitality, Tabita!

Great peaceful quiet place love the atmosphere very peaceful. I can’t emphasize on beautiful and relaxing.

Even before we step foot inside, Danielle was the most incredible host. She was very communicative, flexible and accommodating. The place itself is incredible! The pool is gorgeous and the photos don’t really do it justice, there was also a working hot tub. The kitchen is excellent and equipped with everything you would need and there’s also a grill. I totally Loss over the fact that there is an incredible soaking tub on the top floor! The top four bathroom is huge, and the perfect place for a group of girlfriends or a family to get ready together. Everything about this place was wonderful and I will actually be coming back again someday because I loved it that much.

We loved our stay at Kim's ranch! The house had so many daily necessities that all I needed to do was order my groceries. The kids were never bored and Otis was too cute. If we're ever back in the area, I know where we're staying. 😊

Amazing place with an amazing view and tons to do! You’re never bored with all the activities they provide! I highly recommend booking, I know I will again!!

Our stay at Betty's Airbnb was perfect and location is great. The pet friendly aspect was the biggest highlight for us. The pups had room to run and play and expend all of their energy. The only caveat is that the property is very close to Ranch Rd. 337 which is a busy road, and is not fenced off, so do not expect dogs to free range unless they have superb recall or E-collars. The kitchen is well equipped, the home very clean, and the the front and back outdoor space is very nice. It would be great to have a gate closing off the front porch for kids or pups but we did fine. Also a door closing off the upstairs bedroom for privacy would be ideal, but again, we had no problem with it. Our only challenge was the rude "Karen" neighbor who owns the land between the home and the river, so river access is not as easy as it could have been and they claimed to also control who swims in the public waterway in front of their home. Despite that, we had a blast and highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay. Didn’t get to see the stars because it was storming at night, but the place was amazing.

Cabin fit most of our needs. Peaceful surroundings with lots of wild turkeys and deer. We found 3 different water areas that were enjoyable…1 is walking distance and about 3ft in depth at its deepest, other 2 are a very short driving distance and about the same depth at the deepest. Kitchen has basic items so bring additional seasonings/baking sheets/etc if you plan on doing a lot of cooking. Blanca was quick to respond to all of my questions. The cabin is on a ranch with other homes surrounding it but you won’t even notice; all you hear are the birds and deers calling.

We loved our stay. Had everything we neaded in the house. Very comfortable & cozy. Loved the peacefulness & serenity of it. Was a little further out than we anticipated from anywhere but was told that in advance. The wildlife was awesome. The kids loved the outdoor shower. Definitely recommend to others.

Excellent spot. Was even gifted some cacti clippings which was super thoughtful.

We had a wonderful stay. We felt like we were able to unplug and enjoy the lakes and hiking trails. The home itself was clean and comfortable. We had a great time!

Lovely and private location on the Frio. The home has a wonderful floorplan featuring two living spaces. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, living area, large dining area and elevated outdoor patio that gets a nice breeze in the evening. The downstairs has a bedroom but an additional 3 futon that the kids enjoyed sleeping on and a full bathroom. The downstairs area also has a large covered patio area. The home has a well stocked kitchen, is very close to restaurants, stores & Garner State Park. We will definitely stay here again. Temple was quick to reply and very helpful with questions I had. The coffee maker has both drip and pod options. There is not a dishwasher so you will need tonhandeash dishes. We got paper plates to make it easier when our group was larger. There are several stores in the area for groceries but I recommend getting most before you get to Leakey as they will be cheaper.
