Wonderful hospitable hosts. Very concerned about the guests' comfort. There is a ski resort nearby, the road to there is very soft and comfortable, it takes about 30 minutes. Close to the house it's very nice and quaint. The sound of the river and the singing of the birds is very fascinating. Accommodation on the top floor of an 3-story building. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. Unfortunately the kitchen is not open to the public. The rooms listed other than those we lived in were closed. The common room was only available for breakfast. The breakfast is delicious but there is no choice. Coffee and tea to choose from. The rooms where we spent the night had been recently renovated and there was a slight smell of paint, maybe that's why it was difficult for us to sleep and it hurt our head in the morning. The beds are very squeaky.

The place is quite a surprise. The room was very nice and the bathroom was newly renovated. Besides, the house was beautiful with a terrace that we could access from the room and a very well-kept pool. Jose the owner's service was charming and his breakfasts are amazing. I recommend the accommodation for people looking for personalized attention and a quiet weekend. We will definitely be back!

Julie is very smiling and responsive, very clean and tidy environment, very comfortable bed, kitchen available with everything you need, fantastic view especially seen from the outdoor hot tub. Too bad for breakfast because it was not very well-stocked. Good value for the money.

It is a very cosy hostel in a nice little village. Warm hospitality, super kind and friendly host. Rooms were very practical and the food in the bar was delicious! I definitely recommend.

We had an overnight stop here in our way south on the A7 motorway. The location is perfect for that, far enough away to feel you are really in the campo, yet easy access to get back into the motorway to continue our journey. The peace and tranquillity of this place is amazing and we saw the milky way in the sky at night quite clearly! Elaine was so polite and helpful, the place was spotless and we were well provided for. An English cooked breakfast and home made apricot jam was ‘the icing on the cake!’ Thank you Elaine, we will definitely return 😊

Particularly nice reception: Richard, Wendy and Jordy make you really feel at home and are very friendly and in for a nice chat if you want. The space is great, nice atmosphere and privacy. Beautiful common areas, with games and upstairs also TV. Wonderful breakfast ! All spaces are decorated with care and attention to detail, compliments! And although you are close to the highway you won't hear anything from the cars , it was lovely and quiet. We would definitely like to come back and then would like to stay a little longer because this area and this house with the nice owners is definitely worth a longer visit

The house is so easy to find with the explanations from Elaine. Quiet, spacious and very clean place, I enjoyed the swimming pool when I arrived at night! Bedroom comfortable with small fridge+freezer and diner can be taken on site as the kitchen is available. Elaine is really an efficient and helpful host.

Great stay in Casa Satori thanks to the kindness and attention of your host Emma. Two unique days of disconnection in a typical Almerian place such as the Barranco Quiles and of course in a beautiful house that is not missing detail or good taste in the decoration. Something that I will miss in my day to day will be not to have those fantastic terraces in which to read, listen to music, play the guitar or converse in a haven of peace surrounded by mountains. I would definitely repeat experience, highly recommended.

Emma has created such an amazing haven of rest and relaxation. Highly recommend the option for a home cooked dinner by Emma, as it was FANTASTIC. Emma is such a welcoming person and made the stay feel easy and like home. She was a great conversationalist and we even had the opportunity to meet an amazing couple, that was also staying that night. Could not recommend this place enough, especially if you’re looking for an “out of the city” experience.

A lovely place and an outstanding host, the house was in good condition and the surrounding was very green! I enjoyed every detail if this place! There is a breakfast and dinner option - it was v tasty! And not to forget her dog well-behaved and kind. 5/5
