House holiday rentals in Columbia County

We stayed at Zhargals’s place as it was close to Knobels. The house was nice and spacious. Would recommend if you want to go to Knobels as it’s only a 30 minute drive.

This place was great and very accommodating for my group! We stayed here to be close to Knoebels for the weekend while also being far enough away from the Halloween hustle and bustle. The host was awesome at communicating and even let us check out late since no one followed our stay. The kitchen and living room were beautiful and spacious, and the beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve all slept in! I would love to stay here again if I’m ever in the area and would recommend to anyone.

We had a tournament for my son. It was close by. The house had three nice rooms….we felt at home. The kitchen was easy to cook in and we enjoyed the beautiful countryside and a charming home! I did feel like there were a lot of “rules” and when one is traveling for the entire summer I am not a fan of hosts going thru every little rule and past issues. It was a shock to get such a list of rules when lately we have stayed in homes that have given us the gift of doing very little to check out. The rules could have been said a lot nicer. I do not break rules but I felt there were way to many do nots that I did not know about when I first booked. It would be nice to have larger towels as they were too small and also have more than one trash bag for the trash in the sink when we arrived and also laundry items for clothes. There were only 4 individual wash packets and we had to buy our own trash bags and bounty and toilet paper and tissues and that ALL adds up.

Had some family stay here for a wedding weekend. Lots of amenities and no issues! Hosts were friendly and helpful.

This was the coziest home we have stayed in. The scenery was absolutely beautiful; we loved going down to the river in the morning. Just a short drive from Knoebels and Bloomsburg. Wonderful stay!

Fantastic place to stay, perfectly clean, Sandy was communicative and respectful. No complaints, if I’m ever staying back in the area I won’t even have to think about where I want to stay.

If you’re looking for a place just far enough away for a getaway- this is it. Finding the house was a little tough at night, but not at the fault of the host. The gps takes you to a different place. Once finding the house, entry is easy. LOVED the wood burning stove and all of the character of the place. Mary really has made this a time capsule of perfectly curated items. The setup of everything is adorable and very cozy. The hot tub was perfect and so was the screened in porch area. I was able to cook and have everything I needed to do so. The house was very tidy and well kept, making it easy to leave it just as it was when we arrived. This place is very special- hope to return again!

One of the best airbnbs we've stayed in. Looks better than the pictures. Very clean, great view. Kristen is very professional and kind. I wish it wasn't raining while we stayed. I really wanted to get a campfire. Thank you for everything. We will definitely comeback. Amazing place to stay and comfortable!

I rented Charles’ house this past weekend. I was in town with family to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from Bloomsburg. This house is spotless, and although the house is older, it has been extremely well maintained. The home is well appointed with everything you need. The beds were all comfortable with sheets, pillows and blankets. The bathrooms were spotless and included towels. The house comes with a fully stocked coffee bar including cream which I really appreciated. The back deck and sunroom are perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee. The view and landscaping make for a peaceful spot for relaxing. There is an odor coming from bathroom pipes. We just had a lot of rain so I am not sure if that was it. But the kitchen sink was fine and we drank the tap water with no issues. Charles is a wonderful host! I accidentally booked one night but needed 2. He responded quickly and was able to book us for a second night. I was panicking but Charles saved the day. Thanks again Charles!!

Beautiful home in a relaxing, rural atmosphere. The pond is well stocked with largemouth bass and perfect for fly fishing after a relaxing day of sitting on the porch and connecting with family and friends. Great, concealed trails that lead to the lower levels of the property with a peaceful stream and open forested meadows. Amazing birds, wild life and natural setting that helps you reset from the digital life. The house and surroundings are literally perfect! Kyleen was incredibly responsive and everything was exactly as described. Will continue to come home to Benton and stay at this peaceful, bucolic farmhouse. Thanks for a great hosting experience. This place is gorgeous! It’s so peaceful–and perfect for my solo mini writing retreat! The photos capture the beauty here precisely. Each morning I took a short drive to the Wood Shelf Café in Benton, where I enjoyed a couple incredible Americanos. Back at the house, I made breakfast and then wrote outside in the beautiful wooden gazebo. When I took breaks, the gorgeous view of fields and mountains in the distance inspired me to continue writing. For diner, I drove to Bloomsburg and had incredible Thai food at Sirjom's Place. I will come here to stay again!

LuAnn and Randy are the perfect hosts. LuAnn's communications go above and beyond. The house is peaceful, quiet, and welcoming. It is extremely well appointed with exceptional decor. Many extras like seasonings for cooking, extra pillows, blankets, plenty of space to park are all included. We didn't use it, but the garage/entertainment room is great for rainy days with all kinds of activities for adults and children. Sitting on the porch with my morning coffee and watching the deer across the field was so relaxing. I would highly recommend the Farmhouse!

Dave the host is so quick to respond and friendly as well. This is our third time coming up and we always enjoy the mini vacation and escape from everyday life! We love the making a big dinner for everyone in the huge kitchen and enjoy the beauty of the property! Great place to have some quality family times!

The place was beautiful and very quaint. Cathy was very responsive with any questions. the outdoor space was perfect. It had a beautiful view with a place to relax, play cards, swing, and cookout. The interior decorations were so cute and fit the Magnolia theme. Cathy had clearly thought about every detail! We highly recommend this place when visiting Pennsylvania!
