Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Columbia County

Our 4th time staying. Need I say more? Annual family stay in the hometown region. We look forward to it every year. This year, lucky to see bald eagles! The property is beautiful and peaceful. A great get-away and so peaceful. The house has everything you could want or need. And Melissa is responsive to all needs but at the same time you have privacy. Can't wait to go back next year! Our grandkids call it "the brown house" and throughout the year, ask "When are we going back to the brown house?" Thanks for a great stay and thanks for the memories too, Melissa!!!!

This place was great and very accommodating for my group! We stayed here to be close to Knoebels for the weekend while also being far enough away from the Halloween hustle and bustle. The host was awesome at communicating and even let us check out late since no one followed our stay. The kitchen and living room were beautiful and spacious, and the beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve all slept in! I would love to stay here again if I’m ever in the area and would recommend to anyone.

Rebeka's was the perfect fit for my trip. I needed a first floor bedroom for my elderly Mom and her dog. There were just a couple stairs to get in the front door and the neighborhood was level and walkable for her and the dog. We felt safe and the wifi was very fast and easy to get on. For those visiting knobels it was right around the corner (signage was everywhere). If you did bring a furry friend the restaurant Paws and Plate was a great dog friendly stop to eat and have a drink.

We enjoyed everything about Matt's house. It was extremely spacious. Very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. My husband and kids loved the trails and also loved that the trail started directly behind the house. The hot tub was a great bonus. We showed up to the house and everything was perfect. It rained for the first 2 days we were there but the game room kept us a bit entertained. All in all, Matt's house was absolutely beautiful and we would love to visit again.

I've stayed at April Marie’s home multiple times now, and it never disappoints. Each visit has been consistently excellent — the place is always clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Cannot stress enough the host's hospitality - they’re always responsive, thoughtful, and go above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. The location is great — quiet and safe, with beautiful nature around, kids are aways having a great time i the private lake right next to the house. I truly appreciate the reliability and care that goes into every stay. Looking forward to coming back again!

It was a great experience and stay

This was a great place to rent for my family and I for a long weekend. We rented this place because it was close to Knoebels and that is what we wanted to do all weekend- to enjoy the park and have a relaxing getaway. The house was huge! Had plenty of space for all of us and it was fully stocked with games, firewood and towels. We will definitely consider coming back for our next year's trip!

This was our second time staying at Robert’s place! We had an amazing time hiking the waterfalls with our kids again and our friends for the first time. Robert’s place was located so close to the park, restaurants and other stores. The beds were super comfortable and Robert included many amenities that really made our stay easy and enjoyable! We can’t wait to visit again!!

Jess's place was just as described. It was just what we were looking for. My kids had fun feeding the animals. The place was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with the essentials. It was secluded like we want it to but also a close drive to town.

Our stay at Karen's place was lovely! The apartment is clean and cozy, and the location right next to the creek (with a fire pit and seating area) is so peaceful. This was a great home base to explore Rickett's Glen and other nearby state parks. Karen was super responsive and accommodating when we had to move our trip and with questions during our stay.

I enjoyed my stay here. Lisa was very nice and very responsive if you ever needed anything. Everything looked the same as in the pictures, very cozy place to stay.

Sage tower was a comfortable peaceful place to stay in Berwick. We were close to all the activities and shopping we wanted to do. I recommend the apartment highly. Brian was helpful and responsive when we had questions.

We had enjoyed this much needed getaway. It's a peaceful surroundings and loved how everything was within reason. Will definitely go again. It felt like being home but a long way from home. Makes you think to move in the area.

This was our second stay and everything was just as great as the last time. The covered porch was perfect during the rainy parts of the weekend. The proximity to the lower parking lot for the Falls Trail can't be beat, it's only a few minutes down the road, making it really easy to beat the crowds. We will definitely return for a third trip some time in the future.

This home was amazing, and the views we breath taking! Highly recommend Chris's rental if you are looking for a serene getaway. Also, if looking for a good resteraunt in the area check out Bandits Roadhouse! I will.not disappoint.

Our stay was so refreshing! We stayed the weekend in order to visit Rickett's Glen (only a few minutes down the road) and this cabin was the perfect place to recharge in between hikes. Aside from hiking, this area also has an ice cream place, a convenience store, a greenhouse and an alpaca farm (which we visited on a rainy day). We used the grill and stayed entertained with activities at the cabin- a puzzle, games, and some TV. The dogs had a great stay as well and loved all the new smells and the trail behind the house and down the road! We had one minor question come up which Patricia was responsive and proactive about helping us with!

The Drowsy Beaver Cabin was even better than expected. It is in a beautiful, secluded location on the lake. The cabin was spacious and clean. The kitchen is fully stocked, allowing us to cook most of our meals in the cabin. The bedrooms were nice sized with comfortable beds and the heated floors were such a nice extra (for this cooler weather in May). I loved all the outdoor seating options (while the sun was out) with the gorgeous rhododendron in bloom. I am so happy that we decided to stay here last minute. Also.... waterfalls and hiking were within a 30-minute drive. If this cabin is open for your dates, don't hesitate to book it!

We loved our stay. Simply loved it. Slept so well, escaped the stress. It is as close as you can get to the most beautiful waterfall park in the entire world. It's just lovely. It's low maintenance simple beauty. To be with family or the one you love, that's really what this place is great for, memories.
