Cà del Bif si affaccia sul molo del borgo di Nesso; la casa risale al 1600 ed è la residenza delle nostre vacanze da generazioni. Qua tutti noi abbiamo imparato a nuotare, praticato vari sport acquatici, fatte molte escursioni per poi ritrovarci, la sera tutti insieme sul molo a pescare. Nel 1925 Hitchcock ha girato qui The Pleasure Garden. L'appartamento è di circa 50 mq con camera da letto, bagno e living. Cà del Bif si raggiunge percorrendo una strada ciotola medioevale (200 m dalla chiesa)

The house was gorgeous inside and outside. The view was even better than I thought. Very quiet and peaceful. The host was very helpful and responsive. The lift was helpful for me and husband so we didn’t have to go up and down the steps. The only thing I didn’t know about was the house was very close to other houses. I thought it was more seculuded. I would definitely stay there again.

What an amazing adventure! Our stay at the Greenway Apartment was the perfect breakaway, we were looking to get away from bigger cities and towns, to really unwind, while still having the option to explore Lake Como and beyond. Colonno is a quiet, quaint town, the buildings adding such character. The apartment is well-equipped, perfect for a family of 4-6, or even a group of friends travelling! Fur-babies are welcomed too, which is great! The hosts are responsive and friendly, encouraging communication. The WiFi works well and the addition of a 2-in-1 washer-dryer makes the stay just that much easier! While a private car is ideal, there is a Ferry service which is not far from the apartment either, (we advise making use of the timetable for the Ferry so as to not get stuck), as well as a local bus and a few taxis. The walking is great too, especially if you have an empty day and are just looking to unwind. Would stay again in a heartbeat, thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Umberto's accommodation. Even at check-in, we noticed how warm and hospitable Umberto is – he was always available, responded immediately to questions and helped us with everything we needed. The service was really exceptional. The accommodation itself was perfect - even more beautiful than in the pictures! Everything was very clean, lovingly furnished and with a fantastic view from the balcony to Lake Como. You can jump into the lake directly from the balcony and cool off - simply awesome! The location is also ideal: quiet, but still super connected. You can easily reach beautiful places such as Bellagio, Como or Menaggio by ferry or bus. A special thank you also for the lovely welcome gift - a nice gesture that we were very happy about. We would come back anytime – highly recommended!

We really appreciated this apartment! The location was extremely charming, we were in a small, authentic Lake Como village and neighborhood. The Church of St Michael next door is lovely. Every window in the house has a stunning view, just gorgeous, as the house is right on the shore line. The beds were clean and comfortable. We also appreciated having a washer/dryer. We strongly recommend renting a car to make it easy to get around as Colonna is not a big town. The parking situation (spot in a garage practically next to the building) was fantastic, just make sure to get a small car for the garage and the Como roads. We rented a Fiat 500 hybrid. The photos are accurate. As other reviews have noted, we don’t recommend this apartment for anyone elderly or with mobility issues, the stairs photos are accurate.
