The Nook is a lovely space, in a quiet location. We arrived to a clean and well-kept accomodation with thoughtful amenities. Margaret was very friendly and helpful. Overall, I would recommend The Nook.

Our group of six—two adults, one young adult, and three teenagers—had a very comfortable stay at Lesley’s lovely home. It, indeed, felt very much like a home and not just a rental property. There was ample space for all of us, and it was great to have three toilets and two showers. The location is superb—a short walk to coffee, restaurants, and the riverfront, which we enjoyed strolling along in the evening. A great place for a larger group to stay in Wivenhoe!

Jimmy was very friendly and helpful. His place was clean, and very well stocked with amenities and breakfast foods. It’s in a great location and nice and clean. I would definitely stay again.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

20 years ago we were married at Layer Marney Towers and returning to stay at Nicholas' Airbnb was an anniversary present to my husband. We had not visited since we were married so really appreciated being able to explore the grounds and gardens in peace to relive our memories and re-create some of our wedding pics. Nicholas very kindly opened up the room where we said our vows all those years ago. The space itself was charming and romantic and so so quiet (unless you count the chattering of jackdaws and bleatings of the sheep!) We slept well on the comfy 4-poster bed and enjoyed exploring some of the footpaths from the door to Aberton Reservoir and the Hare & Hounds at Birch. I really hope we do not leave it another 20 years before returning. This really is a very special place.

Our second stay at the Old School Rooms. We were impressed the first time (April 2025) and just so on this visit (May 2025). It so comfortable you immediately feel at home. Everything available that you may need. Judith an excellent host, always responds promptly and very helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending.

Lovely flat. Spotlessly clean, walking distance to the town centre and has parking! Cindy left clear instructions for everything and even had folders of local things to do and takeaway menus. Would highly recommend.

We were greeted by the lovely Teresa who was super helpful and friendly! The stay was just what we needed close to the Suffolk Show grounds as we were attending the following day! She had great details about the show which really helped us! The accommodation was great, it was super clean and just like the photos! Had a lovely nights sleep to set us up for the following day! Me and my partner have just got back from three nights in West mersea, the room was amazing , super comfy and clean , had everything we needed ! The location was perfect close to places to eat and close to the water front ! If you are looking for somewhere to stay in mersea please take a look at this place ! Well worth the money and the host was very lovely and accommodating !

This was our third time staying at Heidi's place - we love it! And the little touches that Heidi leaves make it even more special - after a long drive, getting in with our dog, to find a bowl of water already out waiting for him makes a huge difference! Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!

Great flat. (Worth the climb!) Spotlessly clean. Very quiet. Close to shops, cafes and beach but very quiet nonetheless.

I ended up cancelling, however, the host was most accommodating, responded to my messages within minutes and will be booking to stay at a future date.

properties are very nice split level property that reminds me of an old Edwardian type property. It’s been very nicely done out the hot tub is really good and just generally everything just worked. The location is really good and we’d love to come back.

We stayed here for a couple of days whilst visiting family in Frinton. It was peaceful, extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. Carole's garden was very lovely with a friendly dog running around. Carole herself was friendly, relaxed and helpful. Well situated for Frinton and surrounding area. Definitely recommended.

A really nice flat which has everything conveniently labelled. Nita is a lovely host, going the extra mile to message and check everything was okay as well as leaving amenities. Communication was brilliant

Great place in prime location on the seafront . Place was bigger than expected and had everything you could need and more for a week’s stay . Really clean and tidy . Plenty of treats left for us and the dogs . Overall really happy with apartment and location . Will definitely stay again .

The apartment is as described with convenient parking in a quiet location. Within walking distance to a local restaurant and Co-op plus fish and chip shop. Ideal for a short stay in Woodbridge and to visit the nearby attractions by car. We had a very enjoyable stay here having been greeted by the hosts on arrival.
